There's a new kid in town! Dr. Hudson has just taken over the practice from Dr Kim-James and he is fantastic! Very patient focused and has a staff that compliments him well. Dr Hudson has a great personality and is obviously dedicated to quality of care. He will try to make things as painless as possibly all while creating a comfortable setting. My past dermo-doc was totally clinical with little to no personal interraction, Dr Hudson is just the opposite. Dr. Kim-James is no longer at this office. Now, the dermatologist is Dr. Andrew Hudson. He is an amazing, Christian man! I had a very short wait time to see him once I arrived at the office. Both ladies I dealt with were very sweet. Dr. Hudson heard I have been going through a devastating health diagnosis/illness and was so compassionate. It is obvious he cares about people. He asked about my concerns, we discussed them, he checked everything out and prescribed the medication needed to clear up my out of control rosacea. I'm very confident in saying you won't find a better dermatologist or office staff. And no... I'm not related to him and had never met him before my appointment. Lol read more

This was the easiest appt I've ever had. Just don't go here. My appointment was rescheduled because the doctors was being renewed with my insurance. The rescheduled was 3 weeks out from my initial appointment. I decided to stay with the doctor instead of going somewhere. I was told my appointment would be 11:15 and I should be there at 10:55 because of new patients check in. I get there at 10:55 and I'm told I need to be rescheduled again because I needed to be there at 10:45 now. And that I needed to be there 30 mins before my appointment started. This office clearly doesn't have their ducks in a row. read more

We have gone to Fairview Dermatology since they opened. The service and staff was amazing. But since Covid the service has dropped drastically. Dr. Kim is rushed and not near as thorough as she once was. She seemed preoccupied throughout my visit. Also- a month after my appointment I received a large bill. It seems my referral didn't come through and no one in the office informed me or even offered to work with me and I had to pay $200 more because my insurance wouldn't cover it. I tried to go to the office during the day and they are never opened. It's time to find another dermatologist. read more

Dr Kim and her staff are OUTSTANDING! Dr Kim personally called me after my first visit to explain, in detail, the results of my biopsy and the procedure to follow. I've been to several dermatologist in the area, all the other doctors had a nurse call me and they didn't tell me what to expect. Today was my appointment to surgically remove the cancer and Dr Kim sat and explained the procedure again! She talked to me as she worked and that kept me calm and worry free. Dr. Kim's honesty about the available options I had was greatly appreciated. She listened to the issues and my history with them, then laid out ALL of my options. She also steered clear of directing me towards one over the other. I truly appreciate that because i wouldn't want to be promised glitter and gold, pay a ton of money for a surgery or laser treatment, only to be disappointed that they didn't work. My favorite thing about Dr. Kim-James is that she is a wonderful communicator. She makes my wife and I feel comfortable and confident that we are getting the best care possible. We appreciate her staying on top of things like the vaccine for Covid-19. She puts my fears of skin cancer in its proper place. I use sun screen and sleeves when I am playing golf because she educated us on skin care. Her wonderful nature is calming and makes me happy to go to her office. Terrible experience. I left feeling worse than when I went in. I felt like I was on a timed event with the nurse knocking on the door to rush the doctor even more. I got no answers. Maybe this maybe that. Sorry I wasn't one of your typical Fairview moms that just needed Botox. I have a true medical issue and wasn't given any real insight. But try this and check back in 3 months.
