She saw my vision (an extremely unorganized one might I add) and created a magical day to remember. She had an amazing and very attentive team. My now husband and I were catered to like royalty. We had our wedding on 10/17/2021. Marshana was our coordinator and we couldn't have asked for a more laid back and patient gal for the job. We hadn't planned very well for rain on our wedding day, so when it pretty much monsooned, Marshana and crew stepped into play, and turned an outdoor planned wedding into and indoor wedding without batting I an eye. We chose Fairview Sonoma as our wedding venue because of the package options. I wanted to make wedding planning as easy as possible, and this venue has it all! We did the eternal package with add-on's such as, day of coordinator, sparkler exit, gazebo floral, and more. Marshauna and the Fairview team were there for us every step of the way to answer all of our questions and offer guidance and support. They definitely help you along the way, as you personalize the wedding to fit your needs! We had a small wedding We paid for the full package There were a multitude of things that did not go as planned. I had decorations discussed regarding the flowers, the arrangement from the gazebo was to be placed behind our table, it was put on the floor The barrel at the walk way did not have the decorations I brought to the venue as discussed there were very specific plans that just were not done. The there was the lack of service during out reception, our bartender was not consistently present, I had to seek them out on several occasions. This was not the only time myself or the groom had to go find staff, they were not present at the planned cake cutting, and we had no utensils on our table to eat out cake. The lack of response by the venue to communications sent is disappointing. We have not been sent out "free round"of golf that was included either. I booked this place based on the reviews, the all inclusive package and the reassurance that all would be taken care of for a stress free experience. Having to seek out staff for planned itinerary took away from our experience. The apparent lack of experience by the staff present after the lead person left was evident in the service we received. I cannot help but wonder if we had a large wedding , that was on a weekend and more costly our experience may have been different as most of the pics and reviews seem for much larger events than ours. Although the lead person is very sweet her staffs professionalism is lacking for such an event. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place if you have an intimate event. I held a huge Birthday party at Fairview wedding and events at foxtail golf course. I planned with the event coordinator Marshauna. She was so easy and nice to work with. Very accommodating to any need or want that I had. There was a lot going on and she made it run so smooth. Before, during and after the event. The Staff, from the Chef, bartender, servers and set up crew were amazing and did whatever I needed even though it really could have been a no! Marshauna even had some great suggestions. We had our wedding at Fairview Sonoma in May. Marshauna (the event coordinator) was phenomenal. She was extremely professional, listened to all of our thoughts, took time to go over every portion of our big day and was a delight to work with. I would absolutely do another large event here with her as our coordinator. She took so much stress off of us and let us plan an amazing day to celebrate with our friends and loved ones. Her entire staff was very present, professional and kind during the event. The food was absolutely amazing, prepared well and everyone complimented it (especially the prime rib). The bartender was extremely attentive, easy to work with and kind to all of the guests. The music was great, the DJ basically read the room and knew exactly what to play to keep people dancing all night. (even me and I don't dance!) Marshauna had everything in its proper place and we didn't have to worry about anything during the event. We were able to just enjoy our time with our friends and family. Her experience really shows in the little details and how thorough she is during the planning and execution of your ideas and visions. She had no issue using some of our own decorations we brought in. My wife and I will remember this magical day and how kind and amazing Marshauna and her staff were for the rest of our lives. My daughter's wedding was amazing, from the attentive wedding planner, Marshauna; the scenic location-perfect for photos, the air-conditioned reception, gourmet food and excellent service. The vendors they use cover everything from the officiant, the flowers, cake, photographer and DJ. Every detail was taken care of-all we had to do was make our choices. I can't speak highly enough of this venue! Marshauna and her team nailed it on our wedding details and she was such a great help throughout our planning process. Finding something that was all inclusive was something we wanted for the ease of planning but with that it can be hard to know exactly what you're going to get. Marshauna was great at making sure we were all on the same page and was so helpful anytime we needed her. The few bumps we did hit along the way I'm positive would never have happened if the pandemic hadn't been happening. The way they pulled everything together even with staffing changes and all of the ups and downs we all experienced in the last 2 years was truly amazing. Our decor was set up well, Vanda Florals pieces were beautiful throughout the space, DJ Paul did a great job with our music selection (the dance floor was hardly ever empty!) and the food was AMAZING, every guest we spoke to raved about cocktail hour and their dinners. The entire staff that worked our wedding was also great, they were all so tentative and sweet. We searched high and low all over the state for venues that were everything we dreamed of but still in a decent budget, this place is unbeatable! Everything was pretty good til we signed the contract. Now I greatly regret that my wedding day will be here. It takes a week to get a response from them on multiple occasions. My last text question went unanswered completely. When we asked to try the food we were told we could try it at their bridal fair "in the fall sometime" so I have no idea how the food or DJ will be at my wedding next year. Planning a wedding is already stressful enough. I wish I had never come to this venue. I'd rather pay more and get better customer service than pay a little less and be treated like this. read more

This was a great and affordable place for our event. Ashley and Chris went above and beyond for us. We had several planing meetings for discussing all details. They allowed us to bring a number of our cultural dishes in addition to the catering. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of catering. We had our celebration here Oct 21st and we are so happy they we did. It was all inclusive so they took care of so much for us and all we really had to say was what we wanted included or no based on our budget and what we wanted. They have vendors for cake, photography, DJ , officiant etc but you can use your own of you prefer. So convenient! Ashley did THE MOST for us to make sure we were happy and was so wonderful and patient throughout the entire process. She was accessible, helpful, and very sweet during this stressful time. There were so many choices and she held our hands through it all. Amber our day of coordinator was there every second to let us know how things were going and kept us aware of our timeline so we weren't overwhelmed. The venue is affordable for Sonoma county, and they have a pretty location for the ceremony near their pond. The food was good, and everyone was attentive. If there was one thing I want to complain about it is the carpet inside the reception portion, I just wish it was hard wood or something. No biggie. We were married Oct 6, 2018 here and it was everything we envisioned and more!! Ashley was so helpful and organized throughout the whole process! The vendors were all amazing! Our flowers, cake, cupcakes, and music were all perfect! Jordan did an excellent job coordinating us the day of the wedding so we could relax, celebrate and enjoy the wedding! The entire reception was so much fun! The tables were beautiful. We had a great sparkler exit as well! We had left a lot behind the night of the wedding and came back the next day and Ashley had organized everything for us to easily pick it all up!!
