Sun City was one of the 5 options in which I messaged 3 of the 5 and received a response from all 3 however the hours and availability as well as the reviews related to Sun is the reason I choose to proceed with Sun City. This place is nestled up a little rocky hill and can easily be mistaken for a small tow yard or parking if driving too fast. I called and schedule an appointment for a FREE diagnosis and upon arriving I was greeted by Sandy who was pleasant and handed me a form to complete as a newbie. I checked in on Yelp and showed Sandy and received my coffee cup (tea cup in my case as I don't drink coffee). The waiting area is small with 4 seats and a television, I was lucky to be there when I was as I had the second seat. Chuck took me out to show me under the car and explain what I needed and he was so thorough to even out the items in order of importance in the chance that the cost was out of budget. I actually decided to get everything done as the total for it all plus several extra things was still 1/4 of the cost provided by the dealer with labor. We were leaving town the next day and Chuck allowed us to leave the car over the weekend and once we picked it up Monday it drove like the day I drove it off the lot new. I stopped in due to a battery light signal which I later found out was due to my battery and alternator going out! They got me in and out fast! I showed up as a walk in and they handled my concerns with care! Joesph and Nikki were so professional and helpful! They ended up fitting me in and I was out of there with a new battery and alternator in less than 2hrs. Now I'm no mechanic so I'm not too sure what a "fair price" is but I will say it was fair enough for me, given the fact that I used a firestone credit card! A tire sensor can't read pressure if it's broken y'all. The tire pressure sensor worked before you broke it changing out the tire. There's procedure preventing this damage from happening. It's not even OEM replacement. Sticks out like a sore thumb. This place is Scamming ! After the old manager left a while back they've been throwing all kinds of nonsense. Watch out ! After I had it towed to Almar, Frank called me back & asked if I had seen the car, which was strange since I bought it new as a retirement gift for myself in 1995 just before retiring from the Marine Corps. Frank said that the car had a broken mirror and a bad tire, etc. Basically, he refused to install an engine. I asked Almar to install an engine, not tires or mirrors. I guess my car didn't meet Frank's standard. Another dealer will install the engine for $900.00 cheaper. Thanks, Almar.
