She is very organized and always confirms our appointments ahead of time, makes sure to send a picture to us each day, and even sweeps the floor so we don't come back to a bunch of pet hair! If she is ever busy and can't fit us in (which is seldom because she works so hard) and we have to use someone else temporarily, we can always tell the service is slightly poorer so we always keep coming back!

She was able to instantly bond with Zeus and leave an amazing first impression! She has been great at taking care of him for me while I go on week long trips for my work in Minneapolis and also visiting family out in California. She always sends photos to me and tells me updates everyday while I am out of town. In November, she mentioned to me that Zeus was drinking too much water and recommended I get him looked at by a vet. When I took Zeus in, the vet diagnosed him with feline diabetes. I would not have been able to get him diagnosed as quickly if it were not for Kelsey looking out for me and his best interests. Kelsey has been also to help with administering insulin for me while I am gone so he is able to be his happy and healthy self while I am gone. Since his diagnosis, she has been great at sending me updates on his water intake and any medical issues that arises. Kelsey is a honest, hard working woman with a passion for all animals. She is dedicated to ensuring all animals in her care are taken care of and loved while their owners are away. I would recommend her to any person in the area who needs someone to take care of their animals. Normally I get very anxious leaving Zeus while I travel. With Kelsey, she has been able to elevate any concerns that I have and make me feel comfortable with traveling anywhere in the US (and Canada!).

The will bring in mail, adjust lights if you are away for an extended period of time, provide transportation to vet/groom visits, diligently dispense medication and on each visit leave you a detailed note so you are aware of outdoor breaks etc. I have needed last minute help more times than I care to admit and Kathy and Tom have met and exceeded my needs every single time. For reference, I used to attend Kent State University so that is why my dog visits Memorial Animal Hospital as his regular vet (who this place is ran with and I believe your pet does have to be a patient with to utilize this boarding service- I could be wrong on that last part though). They are great there so I never bothered switching to something closer. Bed and Biscuit requires all main vaccinations as well as flea prevention so I know he won't be picking anything up from his stay. They also offer blankets and relaxing spray for stressed pups. They also provide food free of charge for the duration of stay, but I prefer to bring his own but it's still a nice accommodation! My dog has pretty bad separation anxiety and this place knows just how to handle him- let's just say things didn't go so great for him on the first day! They moved him to a larger kennel space without charging me just he could be more comfortable!!! They also gave him his favorite moderation snack- cheese!! Treats are the way to his heart so it made me happy they did their best to make this a comfortable and pleasant stay for him. Having a dog that doesn't do separation well is pretty difficult to manage at first, but by the end of his stay he was a happy pup and was clearly well taken care of. It's always easy to drop off/ pick up and their rates are really good. My pup has been here twice now and is scheduled to be there again next month. I always worry about the safety of my pup when I'm not around but I can relax when I'm out of town knowing he is well taken care of here.

She is barking and wagging her tail and running to the door! And, when I pick my fluff ball up, she is happy and well taken care of. Our pup gets to socialize with other dogs her size, spend time outside and is in a home-like environment. Jean meets the needs of our pup, is prompt with communication, reliable, flexible and so kind. Pet Joy Pet Sitters was recommended to me by another dog-mom and now I recommend her all the time to my friends with Dogs.
