Brought my 96 chevy 2500 in for several issues, brakes, alignment, front end, tail lights and water pump. They had the truck for 2 months and I paid 1800 the first time I picked up my truck. Had to immediately bring it back because tail lights, alignment and brakes were not fixed. Another month in the shop and another $1000 and the front end is still not right but i will not take it back to Faith. They also had a car of mine for 2 months. 5/17/24 Rescued in the UPS parking lot by the Owner of Faith Automotive. An answered prayer! While I'm sitting in my car with smoke roaring from under the hood. A concerned young man walked up to my passenger window asking if I could use some help. NO EXPECTATIONS, that was clear and before I knew who he was. He is concerned and offers his help. He didn't have to stop and ask. I asked if he knew of an automotive shop. Bang!! What a surprise and answered prayer I got . We got my car to Faith Automotive their PROFESSIONAL staff listened, acknowledged, and SOLVED my car issues. And let me know of other minor issues I have. Which I was aware of. Now I will be taking care of these issues and ALL MY CAR ISSUES with FAITH AUTOMOTIVE!! I have a 2008 vehicle and NO SHOP in Longview or Kilgore or Henderson has found these problems I've been dealing with until now. Everything is in working condition and running GREAT since I've picked my car up from Faith Automotive All surrounding DEALERSHIP'S of the car in Longview, Kilgore, and Henderson, apparently inexperienced and/or not caring mechanics mostly my opinion management!! No problem dealerships taking our money only for me to continue to return and return the same car for the same issue (not fixed). FAITH AUTOMOTIVE ROCKS!! They did it! after an initial quote of 184.00 to run a diagnostic the price quickly jumped to $417 after a technician added DEF fluid. this is a simple process of opening a gallon container and pouring it into a reservoir. After questioning them on the charge they became visibly upset and readjusted the price down to 226. Even though they did not finish either the service or address the original problem. Their position is they were not allowed to continue with the "diagnostic " ? I was charged for labor even though the service was not rendered. Also they add a 3.5% fee for credit cards so when presented with a check I had to sign a document for paying by check? The only other option is cash. read more

Missed diagnosed the overheating issue, replaced the radiator and battery for $1100 bucks. When I picked the car up never saw where they checked the thermostat. Car was so called finished on Friday, I picked it up on Monday afternoon and by 5pm it was overheating again with the new radiator. Took it back, which I never should have done. I get a call saying my water pump was bad and it's 2800 bucks to replace!!!! Asked them to check my front seat because it wouldn't move back. Oh! You need a new seat, the entire seat, we checked and it's 1600 bucks to replace because they don't sell the motor separately! Picked my car up took it to a real shop, water pump is fine they drove it for a week and it never over heated!....because they checked the thermostat!!!'...and repaired the seat with a switch for $155. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE! The fix something that you do need and then tell you you need another part and they never took responsibility or accountability for misdiagnosing my car. Took my $1100 to help pay for that remodeling job!!! Do yourself a favor and go someplace else!!! read more

I purchased parts for scheduled replacement on my car a few years but back prevented me from installing those. Was fortunate to have Faith Automotive agree to do that while I waited. I did business with Frank for decades at his old downtown location so was glad to see them at a better location. They gave me a computer generated job estimate that included an additional charge for removing then resetting a component that was part of the main job (timing belt kit). That job cost was around $450 and the added charge was $180. I pointed out with the young ladies and the loudmouth guy saying their computer program provides highly accurate job estimates. I told them to come outside and look at the engine then at the pages on the factory shop manual on my smart phone with the replacement instructions. The loudmouth said the mechanic would need to verify that first. Frank came walking by so I asked him to verify it. He remembered me so told Jr. to remove the charge. The mechanic did a good job except for leaving out a transmission mount bolt that was extremely difficult to access. I found the bolt a month later so drove back to Franks to show the loudmouth. He said a new bolt was installed since the old one has rusted. It had two rust spots on the head. I advised him to have their mechanics be more careful reinstalling components since leaving off a single nut or bolt can cause premature failures. He made a smartass remark then left. read more

Screwed me over on my ac repair. I paid 900 dollars on their diagnosis of my ac not working and ac wasn't fixed after repair and they didn't make good on it. They wanted to charge me another 900 dollars to replace another part after the first part didn't fix it.1800 plus dollars because they don't know how to troubleshoot. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! Please be aware that the work that was done to my front brakes was not done properly. I had to get them done again at another shop because they were still shaky. Another shop had to replace the front brake pads. They overcharged me for the work. The technician was wrong when he said I just needed a hub and it was safe. I did not need a hub at all. Also they were late getting my car done. You tell me 4pm. I expect 4pm or if you can't get it done at that time. At least a courtesy call to inform me you will be late. Don't waste my time. I told them my air was working just PERFECTLY before I took my car there so they have messed the air up and now they want me to pay and additional $350 when it was their "mistake".
