In the parent hand book they state what they use for correction and yelling is not one of them! They are a "Christian" based childcare and they need to be teaching a disciplining with love and respect and compassion not nastiness and fear! But he finally got a sub teacher and he loves her and we have no issues with drop off or me going in if he needs to use the restroom before I leave him! And she communicates with me when I have questions! He gives her no issues and doesn't get involved with trouble with the other kids! Another thing I don't agree with is not being able to bring your own water bottle! I think us parents should be able to take water bottles and leave them knowing our children can have them at all times and be able to drink WATER and not just milk and juice ! And their menus that they have, my son doesn't eat condiments and they use mayo in some of their stuff, and I was told I couldn't bring something for him to eat in the days they cook stuff like that. I was told they would make him something else, and I'm not sure how true it is. These things may seem small to some but this is my child and paying what I pay to them I want to make sure he's taken care of, not getting yelled at because WE DO NOT YELL AT OUR CHILDREN and I want to know that he isn't being forced to eat something he doesn't eat!

He has always been a very shy kid, and school experience was challenging for him. All the school staff were extremely attentive and helpful during his transition period. His first teacher, Ms Megan, always hugged him when he came and spoke in soft voice to make him feel comfortable. I was amazed how my son changed in the school. I couldn't believe my eyes when after a couple of months I saw him running from the car to go to school! It's also impressive to see all creative and development activities they do. My son learned all his letters and numbers, he learned shapes and colors even before going to the next age group. Most importantly, he learned to love making art and create! Ms Crystal and Ms K from his next age group are incredible, they both know each child very well and have individual approach to each of them. We had to leave the school after moving to another state, and now I have a very challenging task to find another place with such a warm and loving atmosphere and great teachers, like in Goddard School in Concord.

My 3 year old in particular is just thriving. He loves school and his teachers and has so much to tell us about what he does daily. It's a warm, welcoming environment and the teachers are first class. Someone else posted about the COVID closing including a sudden closing on a Friday morning. We are part of that class that closed. I want to point out what extreme circumstances we are all in and childcare facilities have an extra hard job having to Navigate this and keep kids and teachers safe and keep paying the wonderful staff. Personally I think Primrose communication around COVID has been beyond excellent. They are mandated to close in specific situations and always communicate thoroughly, quickly and frequently. I want my kids' school to thrive so yes I want to support them financially. And for that reviewer who said 'where's the proof' - that is called HIPPA or patient privacy. You don't get to see other peoples' medical records. I certainly don't think a preschool is going to lie about that. If you're that worried, pull your kid out. Primrose is WONDERFUL. I'm so grateful to the staff who love my kids for all they do and all they endure. It's a fantastic daycare and we never want to go anywhere else.

On multiple occasions management has made the choice to close down for weeks with little to no warning to parents and demand parents continue making payments despite not being open. on one occasion they sent out a mass email 8pm on a Sunday stating that a temporary staff member tested positive and that they would be closed for the next 2 weeks. They provided no proof of positive testing or exposure to any students. on another occ they sent out a mass email in the middle of the day in the middle of a work week and demanded all parents pick up their children within the hour because a person had tested positive. Again they would be closed for 2 weeks and we would be forced to continue paying, again with no proof of exposure. today on the 3rd occasion they once again sent out a mass email, this time at 6pm on a Friday informing parents that again supposedly someone tested positive and they will once again be closed for 2 weeks and we would still be required to pay for services not provided. Again without providing any proof of positive tests results, or proof of exposure.

So I think this YMCA is really good in some ways, but less good in others. The front desk is really friendly and the cardio has Netflix, and had my sign in details, so that was good. On the other hand, they have big Jesus posters on the wall, and putting a banner in the cardio is lame. And there are a few issues such as are the kids coming around and cleaning the machines in the middle of the workout, and they were spraying their bottles and sweeping up dust and literally I could smell dust, made me sneeze, almost cough, during cardio, and literally I got sprayed (ew) with a little bit of spray (ew) but that's not the kids fault because they are being instructed to do so by the boss here, who was following them around, ordering them to clean more. They should be doing that when no one is working out because that's why we pay more than enough. And that stuff is toxic AF and it shouldn't be sprayed near me... let alone making me wet from spray... during my cardio. On the good side: The shower pressure is a huge thing and I appreciate that, even though a lot of the lockers are disappointingly reserved for members. It could easily have received a 3 star for the religion in my face and spray on my body and dust up my nose, but I'll generously give 4 because it was an otherwise good facility. A Wonderful Agency You Can Grow With!…read more We have been extraordinarily happy with Ms. Leigh Roberson and her team since they began helping us before the birth of our first child in 2021. Ms. Roberson and her team have been wonderfully helpful not just with the initial nanny search, but with our continuing, ongoing child care needs of all kinds. Elspeth is a internal medicine physician who specializes in geriatrics. I'm a kids cancer and gene therapy doctor at Levine Children's. We both have the honor of trying to help patients struggling with severe and complicated medical challenges - often resulting in unpredictible and unexpected work hours and on-call weekends. And our medical training meant Elspeth and I didn't start having children until relatively late in our lives. When Elspeth and I were lucky enough to begin our journeys as parents, our own parents are too medically frail themselves to be able to help us with our newborn children, and our other family too far away. Ms. Roberson and her team have been incredibly supportive and helpful from the very, very beginning. Neither Elspeth nor I knew anything about hiring a nanny: Ms. Roberson walked us through every step, including helping us with arranging the necessary payroll, tax witholding, and health insurance paperwork to do it all right. Ms. Roberson helped us recruit nanny candidates from across the country with substantial experience, from which we selected J, our amazing nanny who has been our primary nanny ever since our first child was born and continues with us to this day. But more than that: Ms. Roberson also helped us recruit skilled, experienced and caring temporary newborn care specialists at the very beginning, to help us with the most time-intense early days of our baby's life (since again, we have no family nearby or medically able to help, and we both continued to have clinical duties throughout). Their expertise for us as brand new parents was extremely, extremely helpful. And in the years since, Ms. Roberson and her team has continued to routinely help us with substitute and last-minute nannies to help us, when our primary nanny got sick, or when clinical duties suddenly required unexpected weekends caring for patients instead of being at home with the kids. Having the help of Ms. Roberson and her team to provide caring, capable help whenever our patients needed our help, has given us great peace of mind as we take care of the patients who depend on us. I highly and strongly recommend Ms. Roberson and her team, not just as a service to recruit one's first nanny, but as an agency that can continue to help you with the entire continum of child care help.
