We've had a wonderful experience with Tutor Time in Denver, NC. Our toddler truly looks forward to going to school every day, which says so much. She absolutely loves her teacher, Ms. Breanna, and it's clear how caring, patient, and engaged she is with the children. One of our favorite features is the interactive camera system. The secure app allows parents to see what's going on in the classroom from check-in to check-out, which provides so much peace of mind throughout the day. The center offers a wide variety of activities, and everything is very structured, organized, and thoughtfully planned. You can tell the staff genuinely care about the children's development and happiness. After four incredible years with Tutor Time, I can confidently say this center has played a huge role in shaping our child into the curious, kind-hearted 5-year-old he is today. From the very beginning, the staff has been warm, attentive, and incredibly in tune with children's emotional and developmental needs. Absolutely avoid sending your child here at all cost. I enrolled my five month old here as it was one of the only daycares in the area with immediate availability, which should have been the first red flag. We had consistent issues with a specific teacher in the infant room. She consistently fed him 30+ minutes late, which is a big deal when they are this young. She left him to cry for 30 minutes in his crib, which, apparently, their policy is it's okay to leave them to cry for 15 minutes to "self soothe". I don't know any five month old who self soothes just being left and ignored, but regardless, he was left twice as long as their policy allows. When I called to express my concerns, his crib was moved off camera the following day. They attempted to gaslight me and said that it was "coincidental" that that happened after my complaints. Admin blew me off every time I called with concerns and "diagnosed" me with Postpartum Anxiety, which I do not have. Admin told me they have never had any complaints about this specific teacher before, which after speaking to other parents of Tutor Time, I know is not true. I pulled my son out of this daycare after three weeks. The final straw was seeing them leave his bib on after feeding him, laying him on the floor to play, and I saw him visibly being strangled by the bib on livestream. Please, for the wellbeing of your children, do not send them here. read more

Our son attended here since he was 12 weeks old to 2.5 years old. The infant room and 1 year old room is great and the teachers were wonderful! It goes downhill from there. Other reviews are accurate. They do not teach your kids anything. Extremely high teacher turnover. Let kids bite, hit, scratch other kids with zero recourse. We came home with incident reports two to three times a week from another kid biting our son. That went on for many months nothing was ever done...Essentially a glorified babysitting service. Run around like animals all day. That being said it's also extremely expensive. When our second son was about to be born they wanted $635 a week for them to attend. Lmao! Funny. We switched when our son turned 2.5 somewhere else in the Denver area when we had enough and he has excelled in every way. At his new school the kids line up single file line down the hallways, learn, read, paint, have structured days, not a single issue, completely different experience at our son's new school and he loves it much more. It's also almost half the cost. Would not recommend Tutor Time. read more

I feel like I'm trapped in an abusive relationship because there are no nearby centers with availability because everyone has ran away from this center. I complain often. I've even spoken to an investigator and all, who reached out to me. This place is money hungry and is no good place for actual learning. Maybe great for social skills, but not actual academics. After already paying $300 per week for preschool, we were charged $75 for supplies for the summer. I am really interested in what the $75 will be used for. We were charged for another classroom that she wasn't attending. After finally complaining, now she's in the classroom that we are paying for. I wonder what other parents are just going with the flow and being cheated. Director is unavailable and also incompetent. I attempted to call corporate and no one is available to speak. I am attempting to unenroll as soon as possible and I'd suggest you not enroll. read more

We absolutely love this school and the teacher my son has been going there for 2 years now and is currently in the 3yr old room. I have all faith the take care of my baby just like if he was theres. My only issue period isn't to do with the school itself my issue is corporate charges a crazy amount for care but doesn't pay their teachers the way they should. For one child even with dss help its 163.00 a week for 4 days that is a ungodly amout if parents could afford to pay that kinda money then they wouldn't be needing help from dss. Maybe if they paid their teacher more then maybe they could keep kids in every classroom and have enough to run the school without charging outrageous amounts to care for children. You may wanna look at your pricing and evaluate it so you can keep kids enrolled before you loose quite a bit of business. read more

I'm picky about child care. Wish we had found this place a lot sooner. I asked them to do sunscreen, hat, spf shirt, and they did like a religion. They provide good meals and the teachers are awesome. My child doesn't like nap time but they permitted her to pick from a treasure chest for a prize for napping and then she started napping. The absolute worst place for childcare. They are filthy and have kids crawling around near the front door ready to escape. The director is easily angered and defensive. Masks are supposed to be worn according to their policy but is not enforced. Do not consider this place if you want your child to have quality care from individuals who care. read more

Teachers are awesome and keep you updated on every diaper change, meal, and nap time. They also tell you exactly what your child ate and how much they ate all through an app on your phone. I love getting pictures of my child learning to sort colors, point to body parts, and clean up. I have gotten videos of my child dancing and singing as well as funny photos of her playing "dress up". It's amazing how much she has learned since starting daycare at Tutor Time. I especially recommend Tutor Time to first time moms/moms of infants because the amount of communication between teacher and parent is so comforting. read more

My son had been attending Denver Tutor Time for nearly a month now,..... was a bit skeptical at first with some negative reviews on a few site, but decided to give it try after touring the facility. So far, I am happy with the care on my son and the friendliness of the staff. It have been a good experience with no hiccup whatsoever. I like the breaking down of class and advances the children according to their readiness. I like the indoor playground where they can play when there is increment weather. I also like the teachers Ms. Liz and Mrs Amber who teaches my son' class. They correct the child when they do something wrong and this is something I really appreciate on top of the academic learning they are teaching. read more

Some of the teachers are good but the director (Paulette J - who wrote a review below about her own place of business, LOL) is a joke. She doesn't care about anything but herself. Her answer to every concern we brought up was, we meet the State minimum requirements. Maybe we were looking for more than just the "minimum" for our child. We moved to a facility around the corner and only wish we would have made the change sooner. read more

My daughter has been going to Tutor Time since she was 9 months old and is now 18 months. We love her teachers and staff. She has learned so much from socializing with other children to animal names and sounds. We will continue to use Tutor Time and recommend to all of our family and friends. read more

My children have been in this daycare for a year and the teachers and directors have always been great to them and me. My kids have always gotten upset to leave me in the morning and their teachers were fantastic at making me feel great about leaving them. Until, covid! I'm not sure what happened to the old staff but they're all gone. I kept my kids out for months and home as I had the help to do so but when I had to take them back, they had a new staff. All new faces. The new director her name is Kate. I will get to her in a minute. Prior to covid every teacher ever has always taken my daughter (she's 2) off my hip and put her on theirs to console her and me for having to leave her. 2 weeks ago I was dropping my kids off and Kate instead of taking my daughter off my hip like they always have she asks me "actually since you're not wearing a face mask, if you could just sit her down thatd be great" it rubbed me the wrong way. (I don't enter the building i walk them to the door and they check their temps and allow them to enter) I didn't say anything. There were several incidents were I felt she was rude with her tone and words but as usual I brushed it off and kept it pushing to work. Last Monday we pulled in the parking lot to drop the kids off and my daughter started crying, I reached around and unbuckled her from her car seat and sat her on my lap to love on her for a extra minute before she went in(In the parking lot). Their dad walked them to the door and Ms. Kate didn't approach with "good morning" "how are you" or any other gesture she approached him with "I just want to let you know that I am a mandated reporter and since I seen your daughter not in her car seat I'm going to have to report you" (I'm in the truck waiting and don't know what's going on) their dad comes back to the truck and says I just want to get the kids and leave now and I asked why? Did the same woman say something again and that's when he told me what she said. As you can imagine I was very pissed off and got out of the truck approaching her and asking her what her problem is with me or my children. I also let her know that I took my daughter out of her car seat in the parking lot and wasn't riding down the highway with my daughter in my lap like a moron. The conversation did get a little heated on my behalf. I let 2 cuss words slip out to this woman (not name calling) I just proceeded to ask her to get my children and their belongings as they wouldn't be back as long as she had a job there (threatening a parent with dss isn't the way to handle any situation when you're ASSuming things) she couldn't locate my sons backpack or nap time blanket after I waited outside for 15 mins for it. She gave me a bag full of clothes that don't belong to my daughter yet her clothes are missing still NOT located. She tells me when she locates my sons belongings that she can meet me with them if I'd like her too (very unprofessional in my opinion after a confrontation) the best part....... her BOSS the woman who runs the daycare is 100% ok with this woman's actions towards me and my family. She justified every aspect of this woman's disgusting DAILY behavior towards me and my family. Her boss says I verbally assaulted her by cussing at her which I'm totally wrong for but I was very upset and sick of this woman ruining my morning with her slick comments. I don't know why this woman is on a high horse or why she speaks to people like she has a badge but it isn't ok for a teacher to ruin a parents day, many times with no remorse and nothing happen. She is the director which may explain why she speaks with so much authority but this whole entire situation disgusts me and I cannot believe that her boss 100% defended her. I was by no means right for cussing but it's my children we're talking about here. Don't threaten me with MY children because you ASSume something. Also the incident reports stopped with Kate, I haven't signed anything for my daughter being hurt since Kate became director. There is no way she has children of her own, I can bet it. read more

5 stars -- I wish I could give Tutor Time in Denver SIX stars -- I'm thrilled this is now a five-star state-ranked facility, but we've always received care that's above and beyond any rating system. We switched our children to Tutor Time from another local child care facility and am so grateful every day for that decision. Our children have absolutely thrived at Tutor Time. I was initially "sold" by the focus on education but we've stayed due to the care and love the team members give to our boys. Both are excelling in their classes and their teachers have become like family to us: they truly care about our boys' success and are personally invested in their emotional growth as well. In fact, we love the Tutor Time team so much, we hire several of the teachers to babysit for us on the weekends! This is a fantastic choice for child care, pre-school, pre-k and after-school. read more
