This is the email they sent to get more money from me if I pay my invoice after 5pm. Big red flag and very shady!

I decided to edit the review and go from 1 star to 3 stars, because I finally got Masago's ashes back and how they decorated the box is beautiful. I will explain my reasons for the 3 star review. My Masago(12 years old Pekingese)died suddenly on 8/15/22 in the most horrible manner caused by someone's pure neglect and carelessness. I found him and I was in a total shock that I didn't even cry. If I could go back, I would come home earlier, so, maybe, I could had saved Masago's life, so I would had never had to bring him here or I would had taken him to my vet's office instead, but I wasn't thinking clearly. I def was not in the right state of mind. I'm I afraid I failed him in many ways including not bringing him to his doctor's office. In the meantime, my horrible pain and grieving continue. First of all, I called this place and tried to pay the invoice and the lady told me, I would have to pay through the link that was sent to my email. I tried it and didn't go through and then came the text saying if I don't pay the invoice by 5pm today, they would have to charge additional $150(pick up/drop off charge is $74 and change, so it would be $224 plus $204.51)to pick him up. That should had been the big red flag! Who does that? It's so thoughtless and heartless text to send while someone just lost her animal child in such a horrible way! But once again, I went ahead and chose this place. I had to pay by cash since there was a glitch in the system at my bank and I wasn't able to use my debit or credit card that day. I called them back and the lady said if I was paying by cash, I had to bring it there. Now, this office is not in Mabank, TX as listed on this business. The office I had to bring the money to was in 4601 E Grand Ave, Dallas, TX. The one in Mabank, TX is 40 miles east of Dallas and I assume that's where the crematoriums are located since it's in the middle of no where. I live in Plano and not from Texas, so I'm not at all familiar with city of Dallas or surrounding sticks besides North Dallas where I go out to eat often. Besides, I'm not adventurous to take field trips to unfamiliar, possible dangerous territories. Now, this office in E Grand Ave is a nice office outside and inside, but it's in a hood and that's another reason I was upset that I had to drive all the way out there! I would never choose to use an establishment that was located in a hood. It's dangerous! The young lady who met me was a very nice lady. She assured me that they would take good care of Masago and I wanted to believe her. She told me that Masago will be kept in a cold place and he'd be picked up the next day 8/16. I paid the invoice with cash($204.51), said my good bye and left. However, I called them on Friday to check in and I was told that though Masago was picked up and taken to Mabank, TX, he hasn't been yet to be cremated, because one of the machines was down!!! I was so flabbergasted, livid, distraught and grieving knowing that he's taken so far away and not even been cremated. It just broke my already broken heart to pieces to smithereens! At that point, I had a serious doubt would I even get him back, because I had zero confidence in this pet cremation service so far. I just hope that I would get his ashes back and not someone else's beloved pet! I didn't even want to call them anymore and decided I would wait for them to call me when he's ready to be picked up. Today(6 days later last time I contacted them), I called them to see if Masago is ready to be picked up and Heath(that's who answered the phone)said yes he is. I asked him was he planning on contacting me and he said yes, we left you a message and I knew that was a lie, because no one called and left a message. I told him I had no message and he said he would have to check the call log, but HE IS READY TO BE PICKED UP to get me off the phone(They called and left a message, text and email shortly after I made the call). I'm so glad that those who left 5 stars for this establishment had great experiences, obviously, mine was not, but I'm so relieved to get him home finally.

My 14 year old Bichon Frise Gringo Starr passed away at home Thursday November 5th. I saw a listing for Paw to Paw Pet Cremation and made the call. Compassionate from the first moment, they guided me through the steps and came to pick him up quickly (I live in Dallas and they have an office off Grand Ave). For pick up, cremation, packaging including a lovely box, and drop off, the total was $279 and worth every penny. COVID aware, too. Thank everyone for making this hard time a little bit easier

We recently lost our 17 year old Basenji mix, Bentli. Losing our sweet boy was devastating. He was our son. We extend our extreme appreciation and respect to everyone at Paw to Paw for their thoughtful and loving manner in which they handled Bentli's cremation arrangements. The Paw to Paw facility in Mabank is lovely and includes a tasteful private reflection room to spend a few last moments to say goodbye. The process of selecting how our boy's ashes were to be stored was graceful and unrushed. We are truly blessed to have had this wonderful experience at such a difficult time. We highly recommend Paw to Paw.

I bit the bullet took her to VEG ER for Pets, only to find out she had advanced congestive heart failure. I don't believe in putting animals down, so I went for surgery. The team was great, they did everything they could ultrasound, removed 2 12 once cans of fluid which was preventing her from eating. They gave me some discounts making the emergency visit more reasonable then normal. I get home with her, let her come out of the carrier by herself, then she moved over to the couch stayed there for some time, then she jumped off the couch heading to the bedroom wobbling, then i heard the most horrible scream of pain and she just fell. I went to pick her up she was limp, I shook her and she came too, called the vet then went back, while driving to the vet she was talking to me, when I arrive, they start working on her and her heart stopped. I told them DNR. They brought me into a consoling room to be with her gave me as much time as I wanted. Finally, when I was ready to leave, they offered cremation services which was very expensive, so I declined they gave me a cardboard coffin and went back home to do some research. While conducting research I found Pet Passages online. They made the process very easy, you order online, you bring your animal in then they take care of the rest. I like the fact pricing is all up front, no games, no guesses. The owner was really nice and totally understood what I was going through, he just lost his dog a few weeks ago. He pulled Josie out put her out on the table you see here attached. The waterfall feature in the room made it perfect to hold her one last time and greave. May she rest in peace.

From the moment we arrived, they treated our family, and Wilson, with such kindness, dignity, and care. They allowed us to take our time saying goodbye in a serene, calming setting and never made us feel rushed. That meant everything to us. Losing a pet is incredibly painful, but the way they guided us through the process made it feel gentle and respectful. We are so grateful to Pet Passages & Dr. McPherson for helping Wilson cross the rainbow bridge with such compassion.

The first time, the emergency vet worked with them and they sent me updates and delivered the remains after a couple weeks. Unfortunately, I lost another cat the day before Thanksgiving. It was unexpected and traumatic and I had no idea what to do. I knew everything would shut down for the holidays and I would not emotionally survive almost a week with my dead cat in my freezer. I called Peaceful Pets distraught and asked if there was anything I could do. They were closing early, but said if I got there ASAP, they could take his remains. I drove over and they were so nice. Even letting me take a few moments to say goodbye since it all happened so quickly. I got my remains about 3 weeks later delivered to my house, which is so convenient. The packaging was wonderful. The pricing was reasonable and I appreciate the more environmentally friendly cremation service. I hope I don't have to contact them again for a very long time, but I recommend them to others for sure!
