Do yourself a favor and contact Fajardo Roofing. From beginning to end, it was a fantastic experience, and I am so unbelievably grateful that they helped me out. I primarily interacted with Andrew and Eddie. My brother in law had his roof done by Fajardo Roofing approximately 4 months earlier, and he LOVED them. I wanted a quote from them, given my brother in law vouching for them. Andrew came out for the estimate and quote. I bought my home about 2 years ago, and I've had nothing but water problems ever since. The roof was old, over 20 years. My dad and I would go up on the roof frequently, trying to patch whatever we could find. In this process, I found a lot of issues with my roof that hadn't been done properly in the past. So when Andrew came out, I had a ton of questions and concerns. He was extremely patient, listened to every question, and was very thorough in his responses to me. The little things really mattered to me. For example, I had another roofing company come out for a quote. My gutters were not installed properly under the drip edge by a handy man in the past. The other company, I asked if they could ensure the new drip edge fed into my gutters. The guy had to call his supervisor, but was unable to get a hold of him. I was told... "probably." I asked Andrew, and he said "No problem. I can do it." without hesitation. There were other similar issues that Andrew and Eddie really went the extra way to help me out - beyond just the re roof. The other company was a 5 star company on yelp with hundreds of reviews... I wasn't impressed. The other company also tried a lot of pressure sales tactics that really rubbed me the wrong way. I never got that with Andrew. California is expensive and I'm affording my home all on my own. Andrew was very sincere when he said he'd work with me and really wanted my business. I expressed to him my financial concerns, and he was able to work out a deal with me that allowed me to get my roof done. They knocked it out in 3 days for me. Even when their delivery guy was running a little behind by a few hours. Andrew called to let me know of this immediately. Again, the little things. My roof before was brown shingle with a Grey flat roof with tons of black patches. It looked awful. Andrew and Eddie helped me go all black, and now it looks awesome! I got all new vents and fixtures too. I've had so many neighbors come by to get their contact info, due to the quality of work. Eddie was very personable. My mom was helping to house watch during this job, and Eddie was nothing but nice and friendly through and through. I can't say enough nice things about Fajardo Roofing. From the estimate, to the interaction, to the actual quality of the job. Very happy. I really felt like they took care of me, versus just knocking the job out and leaving as soon as possible. We needed a new roof and fairly quickly to cover some recent demands by our insurance provider. Drew came out to our house the day after I called him and gave us an estimate that was more than fair. During my years of service doing government procurement for various projects, I learned the hard lessons of mandatory low-bid contracting: too often sub-standard quality work and haggling over supplemental costs after contract signing. So, after I retired, I decided to stick with the "tried and true" method of depending on referrals from people I know and trust for my contracting needs. My neighbors, who have had new roofs installed recently by Fajardo Roofing, couldn't have been more complimentary of their work. After a little bit of research on roofing costs, I met with Andrew (owner) and explained my special needs--my very old tile roof leaked substantially every time it rained, and I needed the job done before the expected next storm. He gave me a reasonable price and made special arrangements for his entire crew to get the job done on my timetable. I watched while they worked, and I marveled at their organization and non-stop attention to detail. The work was done much faster than I anticipated, including the post-work clean up (very thorough). I was kept apprised, during the workday, of extra work and materials needed to deal with unforeseen damage to the sub-structure of my old roof and I authorized the additional work and cost per the terms of the contract. My old roof was a 1976 wood shake with a layer of shingles ontop, so the job scope included all new plywood decking which certainly made the job more expensive, but Fajardo Roofing had very good pricing and the job was completed with no surprises or markups. I was able to schedule a appointment with Fajardo for the morning for my roof because my roof life is out of existence cause 33 years did a number to it honestly. We set up a time and day which was yesterday in the morning from 9am to 11am time range. They texted me that him or his business partner will text me before going on my roof and they never did. I had no confirmation text, no text stating that they'll be at my property. There's no communication at all. I texted again around 1:49pm asking how the roof was, they read my message at 1.53pm and haven't said or text me anything at all.
