A young man came out with a drone and flew it over my house. I was initially impressed at the process, and the identified issues with my roof. I thought he'd climb up there to check it out, but he seemed to have it all worked out. He said I'd get a quote emailed to me, but after waiting a couple weeks, it never came. This brought me to Alpha Roofing. I scheduled an estimate, where I met Mario. The disrespect I felt with him flaunting his dodger hat to a deeply rooted Yankee home!!! yes, I proudly wore my Yankee hat as he and I bantered back-and-forth. We instantly hit it off. Mario is a personable and friendly guy, I felt comfortable with him. He came into my home to see the source of the leak and asked for access to my attic. He grabbed a ladder and climbed onto my roof first. I questioned him not having a drone and he told me he did, but for initial estimates, he needed to walk my roof to see what was going on. Once on my roof, he quickly identified everything the other roofing company mentioned and so much more. He found the source of my leak. The drone was great, but would never have caught the tiny holes left in my roof from removing solar pool panels. That gave me an Oh *hit moment! I had the unfortunate experience of falling into a trap of a cheap quote to do my roof by fly by night operators from outside home depot. To my horror they ripped open my roof exposing my house to the bones, suddenly realized that my roof was way more complicated than they expected (with old wooden structure underneath the shingles) and they just took off and disappeared, of course along with my advance money too. I was all in a state of panic due to my open roof and frantically reached out to google to google roofers. Up came Team All Star - i made a call late evening and pleaded it was urgent. From there on that was the best call i have ever made in my life for an all purpose contractor. Larry returned my call almost instantaneously after reading the urgent message. I explained to Larry what had happened and since this was the fist time i was ever doing a roof was in a state of panic. Larry was calm and told me that from there on it was his problem and assured me nothing would happen to my house. From there on it was an amazing experience - Larry showed up first thing next morning and had already used satellite technology to map out my roof and had a quote ready all inclusive. He took time in explaining the process and timelines all the while assuring me that he would take care of the problem. From there, Larry's project manager Geremy took over and the work went as explained on the timelines explained and as assured my house was well taken care of. Geremy supervised the whole show - organized the demo team who were extremely courteous, professional and amazing. They demo'd my roof and then cleaned my place cleaner than it was even before they started taking care of all the trash left behind by the previous rogues. From there the material was delivered, crews showed up and completed the work in record time under a week. Since this was the first time i was doing a roof and with my house exposed, i was in a state of panic and texted Geremy and Larry many times. I was amazed at the courtesy, care and prompt response from both of them always re-assuring me and putting me at ease at every moment all the while understanding that i was a concerned home owner.
