Service people extremely knowledgeable about the food and the wine. Never have i had someone know intimitely about the wines i was deciding on and that really impressed me. All the food was prepared with precision. It was all perfect. We had oysters with a tomato ice of sorts and i really loved this. It was surprising simple and delicious. I will try to make at home. A dirty martini paired perfectly with it. Comte flan with morels rich and strikingly complimentary to the flan. Fried mushrooms in a type of rice flour tempura (maybe?) were good with the sauce. Looked like the sauce would be spicy but it was not. The star, though, was the beef tongue. If you are eating at this restaurant you probably already eat, and love, organ meats. If not, now is your chance because this is the tastiest, most tender piece of meat we've ever eaten. In a demi-glace sauce that was perfect. The pork belly and lobster was so good we ate it even though we were getting pretty full. Just so delicious, and, again, both lobster and pork so perfectly cooked and a perfectly made sauce as well. So we were so full after that we....... OF course we had dessert! All 3 items. A crueller with creme (anglaise?) sauce, a baked Alaska and a creme brulee with a few candied orange zests. I wish there were more zests! Just fab with that brulee. All 3 were fabulous but the creme brulee was my fave. All in all a great experience we won't forget and hopefully will return to at a later date.

The presentation of the food was probably the best part it felt like being in a art exhibit but you get to taste the art, I'd say that the food we ordered is definitely an acquired taste I prefer less sour/ bitter taste and I found that the dishes we ordered had a earthy flavour and the bitterness you get when eating a lemon/lime, is that a bad thing no I could understand why someone with a different taste would enjoy the dishes, overall happy with the experience but would try other dishes next time

Nothing will come close to comparing! We heard good things about the hot chocolate here and wanted to check it out for ourselves after being out in the cold all day. We chose the spiced hot chocolate, as recommended by our server. It was absolutely delicious-- rich, flavorful, creamy, and everything that a hot chocolate should be. Although the price was a bit steep, we had enough for 4 small cups and it came with two scones and whipped cream on the side. We also got two "biscuits", which we thought were going to literal biscuits, but ended up being small pastries which were both tasty! We were lucky enough to snag the seats right next to the fireplace which ended up being the perfect way to spend an hour hanging out. We ended up coming back for a light dinner the same day and also really enjoyed our time. There was a live pianist performing which really elevated the dining experience. We started things off with some oysters, which honestly were some of the best I've had in a very long time. The dipping sauce was a bit strange and untraditional for me, but it was perfect with just a bit of lemon juice. We also got a burger to share, and when they accidentally brought out a side salad instead of the fries we requested, they let us keep the salad and brought a huge entire order of truffle fries for us (!!!) Canadians really have some of the best fries too because these were perfectly crispy and honestly didn't even need dipping sauce. The burger also didn't disappoint and was savory goodness. I wish we tried this place sooner! Would highly recommend, even if you're not staying at the hotel itself.

It was empty when we arrived so we had our choice of seating, and our server was pretty patient with us while we figured out what to eat. Considering it was us and two other people at the bar, I feel like the service could've been faster, but we weren't in any hurry and when we did place our food order it was brought right out to us. I have seen reviews of this place where others have mentioned that it's not English speaking friendly, but in our experience that wasn't true. To be fair we did communicate in French, but of course English is easier for us to speak. Overall vibes of the place are pretty eccentric with a kind of rock and roll grunge vibe but they also had totems and other decorative pieces that gave a nod to Quebec's Native American people which was cool to see!

In the states, this would have been a non event and unless we all did not physically fit in the pub we would have been allowed in. Here it was a bit different. The person at the door told us that we all had to wait outside while they prepared an area for us. Waiting outside in the cold seemed ridiculous. When I pushed the issue she finally let us in and it was hard to see what the hold up was and why we were told to wait ouside in the first place. There was a solid music group performing and there was a nice selection of drinks and food on the menu.
