The pre-jump orientation by Sheldon was succinct, effective and to-the-point. My instructor/tandem partner, Bailey, could not have been more skilled, reassuring and instructive. The entire process was faultless! I must say that exiting the aircraft was not without trepidation, but it was only for seconds... Words cannot describe the feelings experienced in the 60 seconds of free-fall. Admittedly, it's something of a blur! Once the chute opened, the entire expanse of the world below us was a sight to behold. I only wish it could have lasted longer! The landing was uneventful, if not entirely graceful! This was hands down the most amazing experience of my life! I innitially went on a saturday, but was sent home due to bad weather incoming. I heavily respect the safty first protocall and came back the next day. When I did return I went with Aaron, who is absolutly hillarious by the way, and we were off to taste the clouds. So I have always wanted to go skydiving, but my fear has always held me back. While reflecting on my first skydiving experience from June 2020, I found myself filled with nostalgia. The staff working their were so much fun and so professional. I had no clue what to expect, but my tandem instructor Aaron was so amazing. Family members and I came here on a Saturday afternoon for my birthday celebration. After registering and checking in, We into the little building and saw videos on safety protocol and what our jump would look like. We were placed into a trip number we were the third out of five. We were divided it into our groups & each of our tandem jumpers. Mine was "Baglock", he had such a great sense of humor but also did a good job explaining the instructions. We all got into our gear & waited our turn. I chose and paid for a video. "Baglock" did a great job commentary asking me questions videotaping for me to share this video and also keep it for my own collection. We got into the floor playing climbed up to 14,000 feet, shuffled to the door & Jumped(really u fall) out of the plane. Then....60 seconds of free-falling...adrenaline pumping, heart racing, dropping with my arms out! Parachute opened & I helped us steer & do several turns In a row. Landing was smooth. Overall great experience, great instructors, made it fun loving, memorable, but still the entire time I felt safe and doing the sky diving. Would I do it again ....absolutely hope to rope in some of my friends to go again! read more

I was dead set on getting my skydiving license a couple of years ago. I was proud of myself because for the first time in around 20 years, I had worked my butt off (literally) so I could get under the weight limit to go skydiving. (I was 20 lbs. under their stated limit.) That 1st jump was so deeply symbolic to me - I couldn't wait to hurl myself out of that airplane and into the ether. (I did a Tandem as a prerequisite for classes. My coach was *amazing*, as were the other licensed skydivers on my flight. It was perfect. So I go back a few weeks later, my $1600 in hand, to get my initial classes scheduled. I was getting resistance, though, and couldn't understand why. The guy (owner) was lecturing me on the mental and physical faculties required. I assured him I'd been physically preparing for months, and that I wasn't a dumbass. Then, from behind the counter, the owner's spouse heaves a dramatic sigh and asks me, "how much do you weigh?" I kept my pleasant countenance and told her "I'm 20 pounds under your limit." I'm not even kidding you when I tell you this woman rolled her eyes at me and turned away. I left, just Fkn obliterated. That b!tch *almost* killed my dream, but I found someplace else that is enthusiastic about coaching me as long as I pass their physical fitness testing. I didn't have the guts to tell anyone at the time - it was too humiliating. Now, though, I'll be letting everyone know, b/c I don't want anyone else to go through that. read more

The beginners class you must attend was very well put together. Our instructor (guy w Batman jumpsuit) was hilarious. Made the 30-45 minute class entertaining, and was able to catch and keep everybody's attention the entire time. Knew I was in good hands the entire 15 minute flight up to altitude. I told my instructor to get a little crazy with it, since heights don't bother me... he was like, "you've got it.." as we backflipped off the plane. Fun jumper traveling thru the area after a trip out west. This is a FANTASTIC drop zone. I've been to many DZs across the country and this might hold the top spot- I think it's really that good. The DZO - totally nice, professional, and committed to safety AND fun- who woulda thought? DZ office- very nice. Pilot- awesome. AFF instructor that was there - great. TIs there- totally cool and professional. Fun jumpers are the packers and they like to fly AND get their work done. They were very accommodating to me as a visitor and I felt right at home. Their "regular" fun jumpers were really friendly and we did a bunch of jumps together-- what a great group. Manifesting was done on paper with an in-person chat and putting the loads together was accomplished by actually mixing in fun jumpers, tandems, and students in a THOUGHT OUT WAY. No burble, just like the good old days! The plane was a King Air and it was NOT slow. I think it held 11. Be prepared for that prop blast out the door! They were turning that thing all day on a Tuesday! I don't know if they had more customers than usual, but it seemed to be par for the course according to the regulars there. Really terrific DZ and I only have good things to say about it. If you're in the area, give em a call and tell them you're passing through! I think they are only closed on Monday. read more

Falcon Skydiving team is AWESOME. Easy check-in, Safety briefing(Serious but with humor thrown in). Of course sign the usual waivers. Very professional!!! While waiting for the jump window, the staff was interacting with us and getting us excited to jump(as if we needed it). Harnessed us up, doubled checked everything. Out to the plane my instructor(Will), I think, was just as excited for as I was. He looks like he enjoys what he does. Loaded up on the plane and it takes us around 15 minutes to get to attitude. Will is asking me questions to see if I'm ready(I AM!!!) First one out the door, and had the "OH S***" moment...lol. A bit of freefall and the chute deploys. 4/5 minutes in the air. It was incredible. Highly recommend!!! They really do make you feel at they are there to make your jump AWESOME!!! Thanks for the memories Team Falcon. My niece is wanting to go now. The entire staff lies. The man behind the desk lied to my party then contradicted himself in the same breath. When this got pointed out, he got angry with us. The pilot doesn't take you to 14,000 ft as they like to advertise, either that or 3 out or the 5 divers on the plane are unsafe by having altimeters that are not correct because their altimeters never passed 10,000 ft. (If you want to think about it, that's a conscience decision. Someone told the pilot to go to 10k and told the tandem jump instructors that it is okay and not tell the public.) If you want to go skydiving, go to one that actually cares about what they're selling instead of this establishment. read more

This had to be the most amazing experience of my life. This was one of the things on my bucket list and not I can check it off! When I got to Kansas my friend and I randomly decided to do it. The entire Falcon team was very professional and knowledgeable. They make you feel comfortable and also explain the seriousness of jumping out of a plane. You are definitely signing over your life when you sign the wavers, but once you get past that part you will be okay. They know exactly what they are doing. Jumping out of a plane at 14,000 feet is the absolute best. I will be going back !!! Make sure you splurge for the pictures and the video it is a extra 99 dollars for both. This was my first time skydiving and I'm so glad I did it at Falcon. It was an AWESOME experience!! To start with planning the event, talking to them on the phone was so easy and they were so personable, full of knowledge and kind. Upon arriving to Falcon, we were promptly greeted with warm welcomes. We filled out our paperwork and watched some informative videos. Following that, it was time for training. The trainers are professional jumpers/divers with so much experience. There words of wisdom and instruction was made very clear along with the importance of it for safety. It was then time to gear up. We jumped in tandem with an experienced jumper who while getting us in the equipment talked us through what they expected from us and safety concerns. The tandem jumpers were the best. They knew how to have fun as well as keep us safe. After getting all geared up it was time to load the plane. I felt safe starting from getting all geared up, to flying in the plane, preparing for my jump as well as the jump itself. This was an overall great afternoon spent at Falcon. I'm eager to see the video from my jump and photos as they arrive in the mail this week. For a first time experience, I would totally recommend Falcon Skydiving. I, myself, may even be returning in the near future! read more

Took the wife here for our first anniversary. Her idea. Not mine. She's definitely more adventurous than I. With that said, we had a great time. Went up in a small plane in a tandem jump. We purchased the video of the jump and watch it from time to time. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is because I asked the gentleman I jumped with to not do circles when we opened the chute. He did anyway. Other than that, it was awesome. Incredible experience start to landing! We were immediately greeted by a friendly staff and Charlie the Golden Retriever! Even filling out paperwork was fun due to a staff member that kept you engaged and laughing. Instructors are helpful, patient and calming. The actual jump was amazing, no problems there. One of the things that bugged me, was the volunteer that gives you the video about skydive right and wrongs. Here's what happened..... I went with some coworkers/ friends, and he (volunteer) gave them an up-and-down with his eyes. He commented on the fact, that he would gladly help them with their jump, because of how attractive they are. His next comment was " ...all the ugly ones go to the back." And even though that might've been a joke, it was not funny, and it was not professional. I'm not going there to hear jokes. This was my first impression, five minutes after I was told to watch a video. Females that I work with were warned, that they (instructors) would have to touch us as we rigged up into the parachute harnesses (tandem jumpers, first Skydive) for our safety, which was fine....safety first. But The other problem was, One of my coworkers let me know that on the way up to Jump altitude, The instructor took the opportunity to hold her backside/ butt longer than he needed to. He also rested his hand on one of her breast. There's so many other places to rest your hand. She is someone that did the jump for the first time, but she knew he was not doing a safety check. Those felt totally different. She felt like he was groping her. And what are you gonna do when you're 14,000 feet. Bottom line....this place needs to change some things before I would go back with my daughter....wife ...mother...etc. read more
