So I work in the industrial hinterlands of west, west Hialeah Medley and flat tires tend to be a common problem. Driving in construction sites is a risk factor for flats as well, as is general Miami traffic. (Yes I love my city, yes I hate its traffic!) When your car needs work, be prepared to blow more money than at Club Liv :) This last time, I came to Falcon Tire since it's much closer to my office. I appreciate the fact that Luis, my sales rep, even offered to measure the tread to show the damage and which ones need to be replaced. They even tested the brake and rear lights in front of me to prove they had been replaced. For that extra step they get 5 stars. From what Luis showed, it made sense to change all 4 tires. He reviewed the different price options for me to decide. I also like the fact their warranty covers two quick fixes per tire (with reasonable exclusions). Since I was coming up on 6,000 miles I went ahead and had my oil changed as well as tire alignment, and the light bulbs. The waiting area was pretty clean, and a few comfortable chairs and a coffee machine. Their credit card has a 6 month no interest promotion for the extent of the repair work I needed. read more

The prices of the tires at this Falcon Tire Center were reasonable, only about $.50 more per tire on some Falcon Sincera SN201 A/S 175/65R14 82T BSW tires that I saw online at a competitor so I didnt really dispute the price or try to price match the competitor because on Falcon Tire Center's website they had a 10% off coupon which I used for my purchase. Installation and Alignment was $20 per tire which is pretty reasonable because competitors like Costco charge $25 per tire for installation. The only reason that I took away a star was because when I came to the store to order the tires the clerk told me that the driver should deliver the tires within an hour and they would call me when their ready but I went home and waited two hours and a half before I decided to call them myself (nobody called me within an hour like they said) and after I called them they said that the tires just got there and that I could come in to get them installed. I dont know if they would have called me if I didnt call them first but they took two hours and a half instead of one hour to deliver the tires. read more

Absolutely horrific experience! I had 4 new tires installed to my Ford Edge. The following occurred: - tires were inverted (face of tire installed facing in) - lug nut totally stripped to the point we could not take it out - returned to fix the above and they damaged the rim to extract the lug - replaced above lug nut with a 20mm not a 19mm to match the rest of my tires Now they have to replace a rim($900) for a $700 job. Very sad - this place used to be the best! Also did not appreciate that the reception person accused us of stripping the lug without checking with the mechanic - who confessed that he indeed made the mistake. Falcon states they will replace the rim but there is one thing they cannot replace and that is my trust. read more

I have brought both my cars here in 2 different occasions and the staff there is super friendly and attentive (yesenia and Bella). Both times I have left my car here the work has been done before the estimated time they said it would be done, which is a plus. Jorge the mechanic took the time to show me the old parts and recommended things I should do in the future to keep my car well maintained. Been coming to this shop since I found it here on yelp around a year back and ever since it's been my go to tire and oil change business! I could easily say they have the most reasonable prices in the area and possibly the cleanest shop as well. They work rather quick and efficiently and have cctv over the cars so that the customers can watch the whole process from the lobby. Little details that are very much appreciated. I can't complain about the staff cause they are really nice, but their mechanic is no where close to a mechanic, I took my van for an alignment and after over $1000.00 in payments the van is worse than when I took it for service, they changed every part in the steering wheel system and after the third time back to the shop they now want to charge me another $500.00 to change the power steering pump when there was nothing wrong with it when I took it back to replace the defected gear box that they installed before. They're are no mechanics, all they are doing is guessing and replacing the parts one by one until I guess they fix the problem, Over $1000.00 expended and the van is worse than when I took it there the first time. When I arrived the staff (Angel) was friendly and attentive. I had a routine oil change for a decent price. Sitting there I noticed the pattern of mechanics bring in paperwork and hand it to someone and they call the person to pay and get your vehicle. Once I noticed my car come around the front and hand my paperwork to a female employee, she proceeded to sit on her phone and walk around. I figured maybe she has to enter something in the system, but no. Once I get up and join the line and waited for her to finish with a customer, she proceed to take payment from another customer, another customer walked in from just being with the mechanic outside ( I watched them out of boredom) she just went right up to her and she laughed and giggled while dealing with him. When she finished I told her you should have let him wait in line like everyone else, she said Oo he's already done, and I said so am I and the lady behind me. She then said Oo he's been here for a while, I stayed I've been here for an hour and you added 22 mins to it. She replied Oh well, we're here now. I proceed to pay, it's a shame because it's a nice facility and everyone suffers from her attitude. read more

Last time I was here for a routine oil change I was told my gasket was missing and the car would leak oil without it. Lie. 6 months later, no oil problems to date. This time, I brought the car in because of a nail in my tire they were unable to fix, fine. The kicker is that they left my ignition on and then the car wouldn't start. The guy said my car is old and that's the problem, I told him it's a 2015 and batteries don't just die after two years. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism with this experience. read more
