My potential ability in purchasing a Patagonia Retro-X jacket. He explicitly said, "Wait, is he gonna grab it?" in a manner that was clearly implying that they have a culture of talking about customers and their ability to make purchases. I would have let it slide just to the point where I overheard him and never have written this review however to my dismay, this seemingly took a turn for the worse when this store boy also noticed that I overheard him, presumably feeling the need to confirm the speculation, approached me directly. In what can only be described as a questioning tone, he asked if I was indeed planning to grab the jacket. This not only felt invasive, condescending but also insinuated my integrity as a customer. The entire encounter left me feeling frustrated and disheartened, as it significantly detracted from what was supposed to be an enjoyable day exploring the charming Deep Cove and its local shops. Customer experiences should be characterized by professionalism, respect, and a genuine desire to assist, none of which were exemplified during my visit to A'hoy by this boy they have employed there, who clearly lacks the emotional quotient. Regrettably, the negative encounter prompted me to take my business elsewhere, and I ultimately purchased the same Patagonia Retro-X jacket from a different place at the same price level.
