Also a fun and relaxing place to just hang out and have the kids run around on the playground. Restaurants 5 stars: Nice variety of upscale restaurants including Saint and Second, Eureka!, Sushi Katsu-Ya, Tender greens, EMC Seafood and Raw Bar, Wokano, JOEY, Larsen's Steakhouse and Il Fornaio. I feel like most people come here for Costco, and then maybe just walk around. There just isn't enough there to draw its own crowds. All of that is to say, I really wish this place had more of a draw. It's a beautiful space that is maintained very well. There's plenty of parking (though it is paid which is a shame) and it's a great location. I want this place to succeed and be a draw. But they just need to find a way to attract good businesses and give them rent that justifies keeping them around, growing a customer base that will come back and then spill in to the other businesses there. All the pieces to a great outdoor shopping center in the West Valley. they just need to figure out how to get them all to come together.

Lately, the construction has taken away from the experience a bit, but I am hopeful that once it is finished, things will be even better. I just hope the updates are thoughtful and not simply focused on adding more retail, especially in place of something like the movie theater. It would be great to see additions that truly serve and reflect the community. For example, a fountain with a water show, similar to what you see at the Grove or Americana, would be a strong starting point. People and families already feel overwhelmed by the number of shops, and adding more does not necessarily improve the experience. Take Century City Mall as an example. After its remodel (many years ago) added many more stores, I personally stopped going. As someone who works in marketing, I know the first priority is getting people to visit. If visitors lose interest, as I did with Century City, then adding more shops defeats the purpose. I really hope they do not lose sight of what makes the place special. It would be a shame if short-term decisions ended up hurting the atmosphere that people enjoy.

What they don't have enough is parking spots. So know you can always park at the back, there is a big parking lot which is usually empty. I personally do not like to squish too much and reverse my car 10 times to squeeze into a spot. So I make a short circle, and if there is not parking I just park at the back and walk for 2 minutes. I was here today for a hit cut. After spoiled myself with sushi. And at the end got some groceries. Pretty productive.

My favorite stores include - Pop Mart, Box Lunch, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Miniso, Hot Topic, Hollister, Old Navy, Journey's & Sophi's Cosmetics. It's a smaller mall but it's local & always a solid place for a hang out. There is also many on site restaurants that I enjoy such as Yard House, LongHorn Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen & Red Robins. There is also an Escapology located here outside the mall which is great as an interactive experience. The workers I've encountered here are typically very friendly & the mall is kept very clean.

There was one store that was vacant and all the lights were off so if you were walking around the center, it will feel like a haunted house.

The food court was extremely clean, comfortable, and somewhat fancy-looking, with plenty of tables, benches, and chairs to sit and relax throughout the mall. Friendly employees can be seen cleaning throughout the mall, assuring that this place is kept as spotless as possible. Free parking is available both in the parking garage adjacent to the mall and in non-garage parking on the east and south sides of the mall.

There should be security in the corridor, especially given that it is right next to an outlet to riverside drive. I'm disgusted at this and the total lack of security each time I go here. If you want to park here - be sure to have a dash cam recording or you might end up like me.

The reason why I'm posting three stars is more subjective; this place lacks the beauty appeal of The Commons nearby, or the outside mall where Target is located in Thousand Oaks. This has a very cheap, strip-mall feel. Besides this, it's a mall packed with fantastic restaurants, a CVS, a bank, a dentist, a FedEx, a grocer, and a healthy dessert hotspot. A place worth visiting and food worth trying.
