The space itself is welcoming and thoughtfully curated, and you can tell they really care about supporting artists and the community. The exhibits were engaging and well-presented, with a nice variety of styles and mediums. What really stood out to me was the staff -- everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made the experience feel personal without being overbearing, and they were happy to answer questions about the artwork. It's such a gem in Fallbrook. Definitely worth a visit if you appreciate art, want something affordable to do, or just want to support a great local spot. I'll absolutely be back for future exhibits! My son has been a student since the first grade and has been completely held and nurtured as a learner and a child. The teachers are well trained, the curriculum is rich and diverse, and the leadership team is responsive and caring. It really says a lot about the community that it has stayed cohesive through many challenges over the years with their location and the pandemic. Talk about up close and personal!…read more This is a small airport, so don't get too excited to see big jets or constant activity. BUT there's only a 4ft fence between you and the planes, so you have constant viewing pleasure. There's at least 5 picnic tables next to the fence (with plenty of trash cans) and logs to sit on. They've made it quite comfortable. We pulled our car right up between two tables, rolled our windows down and just enjoyed the view. It was so nice. There's a constant breeze as well - this was nice today since it was 89 degrees. Felt like summer! I don't have small children anymore, but if I did, I know they'd get excited to be here. We saw a couple planes land/take-off and also a sheriff helicopter do both also. It was really cool. This airport is on one of the tallest plateaus, so the views are far and wide. It's up against an avocado orchard too. Funny thing, there's a pay phone in the parking lot for anyone who may not have a phone and needs to make a call while hanging out here. lol Love it.
