Tahoe price gouging kills me. $50 to launch my boat...okay...$50 more to take it out of the water. Please! I had a few friends that were going to meet me at the marina to jump in the boat. The marina told me they charge $20 or $25 (I can't remember the price) per person to walk in and get on my boat. I am not willing to pay for something like that. I picked them up from a dock near the marina instead. Unfortunately that is Tahoe for you. The ramp was easy to use and it was small so it only held one truck and trailer at a time. Gotta get there early so there is room to park your rig. I'll go there again due to the convenience, but not for a while.

I also had to request an anchor, it wasn't offered and this is one of the fun things you wanna do is anchor somewhere and eat lunch and swim off the boat. also too expensive. They could knock the price down a bit for sure, but people keep paying it so they keep jacking it up every year I guess?

Excellent parasailing experience this morning…read more We had booked the 10am 1000 foot experience and arrived around 9:45 am to fill out waivers (we had prepaid the $480 fee) and then boarded our boat. We had two crew members - one driving and the other helping with the preparation for the parasail (harnesses, life jackets, picture taking and so on). There was one more passenger and he went up first, then it was our turn - our tween and I went first in tandem (it was her first time) and then our teen and the missus. It was a magical ride; while I've done this before, it was lovely to see it from my daughter's eyes. It was chilly up high and she was a bit nervous, but the lake and mountains were breathtaking and she relaxed enough to soak it all in. We were 500-700 feet above the pristine "Tahoe Blue" surface, and we even got to dip our toes in the lake as we were being reeled back in! Can't wait to return!

Terrible scammy business practices!…read more Called them because my bank statement shows I was charged $230 when I only booked a 2 hour single kayak rental. They said they can't refund me because it was over 48 hours. And they said I also had two SUP's on that order. I told them, how can that be, I only requested the kayak. And so I asked them for the documents that I signed and then they said "sure". Get this, soo I was like...do you need my email? They said they're too busy to send it me me. On a monday morning. So you need people to check their bank accounts on a daily basis, but can't spend 5 mins to send me the supporting documents. If she gave me her real name, the manager's name is Kasandra. Completely not understanding and just accuses me of booking the SUP's and just so rude.

This review is for the 10 AM parasailing. Our experience went smoothly and the views were great…read more They take photos of you going up there and provide a go pro to take up during the ride. Pictures/footage are available for purchase after. I'd recommend taking a sturdy phone lanyard with you so you can safely take your own photos and videos up in the air. I did book this a week in advance and when called I was told the experience would be 30 mins in air minimum - also on the website. This was not the case as we had some large groups with us and the whole boat ride is an hour so you get at most 8-15 mins. Also, the height in air you select dosent really matter. They don't ask and everyone kind of gets the same ride no matter what they chose. Beware that in the morning it's pretty cold especially in up in the air. You take off your shoes as soon as you board the boat and they do dip your toes in when bringing you back down. Also usually morning trips are less booked since it's colder. Also make sure you're atleast 10 minutes early to have time to sign the waiver paperwork and so you don't miss the boat.

So when we looked for a spot that was pretty close to the casinos, we chose Camp Richardson as the spot to spend a day hanging ou at the lake. Parking for Camp Richardson is onsite and it's a daily pay rate....Im not 100% sure what the rate is because I found parking on the main street and parked for free and just walked in. Once inside, it's an open beach and you pretty much just have to find a spot and claim it with your beach towels and beach stuff. Once you got your spot,we ran towards the water and started to cool off a bit with all the swimmers and others playing in the water. On this particular Saturday it was crazy busy though,it was like we had to scratch and claw to find an open spot for our stuff-not sure if it's always like that during summer weekends. There are public bathrooms centrally located near the entrance-they are gender neutral and I think I saw 6 of them. Now we brought both food and drinks to Camp Richardson for our beach day but for those that don't there is also the very popular "The Grove" located at the heart of Camp Richardson for those who want to enjoy a sit down meal or maybe a drink at the bar or maybe just listen to some live tunes at the beach. Overall we spent maybe three hours at Camp Richardson before heading back to our cars and to our hotel to continue our Tahoe adventure but I would definitely say the time spent there were incredibly awesome and I cannot wait to do the same thing again next time I am in Tahoe for a beach day. Camp Richardson is a really fun place. P.S. For those interested, there are cabins for rent on site at Camp Richardson for overnight stays.

Unfortunately, management seems to treat the campground less like a quiet mountain retreat and more like a lawless, multi-day music festival. The biggest issue was the nighttime soundtrack. Multiple campsites were blasting music, yelling, and carrying on well past midnight. To be fair, some of these loud individuals were probably high or drunk. Quiet hours are officially posted, but they are enforced with the absolute fierce intensity of a polite suggestion. If you plan on getting any actual sleep, make sure your packing list includes heavy-duty earplugs, a white noise machine, and maybe a melatonin supplement. To top it off, visiting the restrooms and showers in some areas felt like a high-stakes survival challenge. A few of the stalls were somewhat dirty, with uncleaned toilets, questionable floors, and not very pleasant odors. Here's a tip: use the handicap restroom for a more sanitary experience. Complaints aside, each campground has a bear-proof box, picnic table, fire pit, and parking (enough room for 2 cars). Overall, those new to camping will have a fine time, but seasoned campers should look elsewhere for a more polished experience.

There is a designated area you're supposed to stay within, but it wasn't hard to follow at all and there was still plenty of room to have fun. We the best time! We took off out of Tahoe Keys Marina, there was plenty of parking for us as well. The boat is awesome. Speaker system was fantastic and easy to connect to through bluetooth. Although WiFi around the lake is a little spotty. My sister filled out all the forms, and we were off. It was about a 30 minute ride to Emerald Bay. Ian let us know of some cool landmarks and locations along the way. The original location we wanted to go to was crowded and filled with families, and he suggested we go somewhere else with less people, which we were more then happy about. He found a super sunny spot and stopped. There was EVERYTHING on this boat. Sodas, bottles of water, ice, cups, daiquiri and margarita mixes, a nice cheese/meat platter, and chips. There was also some crazy cool blender that looked like they created themselves to make us frozen blended drinks. Ian made a bunch of drinks for us which was awesome. He also took a bunch of pictures for us. And from a bacherlorette party of 7, he was super patient and took a billion photos of us from different angles and what not. There were also pool noodles, a huge pool floating mat, as well as a stand up paddle board. You can jump off the top of the boat as well. There is also a drone that he broke out halfway through our trip and took pictures of all of us. It was awesome. He texts you the pictures at the end of the day as well. We had a blast. He's super chill and easy going. And does his best to accommodate everyone. Everyone agreed that this was the highlight of our trip. I'm honestly already planning on coming back next summer with my fiance (soon to be husband) and booking a trip with them. The boat, cool blender, and beautiful lake views are seriously the best.
