    Lunch views from the deck!

This place is such a charming, hidden gem. You will have a bumpy, windy, narrow road to drive (or bike ride) for a few miles to get here, but it's worth it. The feeling of a remote and secluded ambiance, and the views from the deck make this little old-school marina/cafe/store worth checking out.

Pulled the boat up to Tahoe for the celebrity golf tournament. Great time BTW…read more The Lakeside Marina was in a location close to my hotel and was easy to get in and out. Tahoe price gouging kills me. $50 to launch my boat...okay...$50 more to take it out of the water. Please! I had a few friends that were going to meet me at the marina to jump in the boat. The marina told me they charge $20 or $25 (I can't remember the price) per person to walk in and get on my boat. I am not willing to pay for something like that. I picked them up from a dock near the marina instead. Unfortunately that is Tahoe for you. The ramp was easy to use and it was small so it only held one truck and trailer at a time. Gotta get there early so there is room to park your rig. I'll go there again due to the convenience, but not for a while.

This is one of the most fun things you can do in Tahoe, renting a boat, heading over to emerald bay and pulling people on the tubes along the way! - 1 star for not enough instruction on pulling the tube or using an anchor. two years in a row I've had the rope get caught in the propeller and cut up. I also had to request an anchor, it wasn't offered and this is one of the fun things you wanna do is anchor somewhere and eat lunch and swim off the boat. also too expensive. They could knock the price down a bit for sure, but people keep paying it so they keep jacking it up every year I guess?

Excellent parasailing experience this morning…read more We had booked the 10am 1000 foot experience and arrived around 9:45 am to fill out waivers (we had prepaid the $480 fee) and then boarded our boat. We had two crew members - one driving and the other helping with the preparation for the parasail (harnesses, life jackets, picture taking and so on). There was one more passenger and he went up first, then it was our turn - our tween and I went first in tandem (it was her first time) and then our teen and the missus. It was a magical ride; while I've done this before, it was lovely to see it from my daughter's eyes. It was chilly up high and she was a bit nervous, but the lake and mountains were breathtaking and she relaxed enough to soak it all in. We were 500-700 feet above the pristine "Tahoe Blue" surface, and we even got to dip our toes in the lake as we were being reeled back in! Can't wait to return!

They said they can't refund me because it was over 48 hours. And they said I also had two SUP's on that order. I told them, how can that be, I only requested the kayak. And so I asked them for the documents that I signed and then they said "sure". Get this, soo I was like...do you need my email? They said they're too busy to send it me me. On a monday morning. So you need people to check their bank accounts on a daily basis, but can't spend 5 mins to send me the supporting documents. If she gave me her real name, the manager's name is Kasandra. Completely not understanding and just accuses me of booking the SUP's and just so rude.

Our experience in the beginning of March 2026…read more This was our first time coming to Camp Richardson. When I thought of Camp Richardson I've always thought of camping and horseback riding. We were staying in South Lake Tahoe 2 nights which gave us time to explore and have more fun. What I really wanted to do was go horseback riding. I looked up the corral and learned due to it was off season it was closed. I was so disappointed. Another thing that got my attention was the ice cream shop. My girlfriend came in September and had ice cream so I thought we'd be able to replicate her trip and get ice cream too. Unfortunately they were closed too, my guess was for the season. I didn't look at their website so we could have just come too late in the day. We were there around 2:30pm. We did get a chance to visit the beach. We were lucky and got one of the few spaces that was left. It was a pretty big lot, but for on season its not going to be big enough. I'm guessing there is a second lot that we didn't see. Due to it was off season the facilities were closed. Too bad as there were a lot of people on the beach and bike riding. We stayed short amount of time, but if we were camped out all day I don't know what we'd do. There were some people laying out getting burned. We had jeans and a sweater on and it was a little cool in the shade. Two people ran into the lake and there fried was filming the epic event. Others were just having a picnic and brought blankets and beach chairs to settle in for the day. There was also a restaurant on the beach which was tempting. Then you could get to use their facilities, sit at their outdoor patio on the beach, and have a great view. If they had hot fudge sundaes they'd have my business. Sadly we were on a tight schedule and had to get back to Heavenly Village for a show. The show was so worth it. I highly Reccomend this beach. So tranquil.

We decided to take a chance, and I'm really glad we did. The whole process was super easy. We literally just walked up, rented a jet ski for two people, and were out on the water pretty quickly. Everyone was really friendly, and they explained all the rules and safety stuff in a way that was clear and easy to understand. There is a designated area you're supposed to stay within, but it wasn't hard to follow at all and there was still plenty of room to have fun. We the best time! If you're looking to rent a jet ski in South Lake Tahoe and you're unsure where to go, I'd definitely recommend this place. Easy process, nice staff, and a really fun experience overall.

We did not understand that it was a restricted swimming area. We saw other watercraft and people paddling nearby so we didn't know we can't go that area. We also slowed down as we approached the shore and we believed we were following the rules that had been explained to us, including staying within the designated boundaries and not accelerating in restricted zones. Instead of clearly explaining the situation or giving us a warning, two staff members approached us angrily and told us we could not continue riding because we were "trying to kill people." When the rules were explained before the rental, we were told about the boundaries and what to do if we wanted to switch riders, but we were never clearly told which route to take when returning to shore or how to identify swimming-only areas. When we brought this up, staff simply said that the rules were included in the paperwork we signed. We were only told that it was our own responsibility if something happened to us before signing. No one specifically told us to carefully review additional riding rules!!!

My sister (and maid of honor) worked with Mike and Ian to plan an outing for me. From what I'm told, she said they were great with communication and answering all of her questions. Ian was also running a little late that day and called us to let us know they would be about 15 minutes late so we weren't standing around waiting for him. We took off out of Tahoe Keys Marina, there was plenty of parking for us as well. The boat is awesome. Speaker system was fantastic and easy to connect to through bluetooth. Although WiFi around the lake is a little spotty. My sister filled out all the forms, and we were off. It was about a 30 minute ride to Emerald Bay. Ian let us know of some cool landmarks and locations along the way. The original location we wanted to go to was crowded and filled with families, and he suggested we go somewhere else with less people, which we were more then happy about. He found a super sunny spot and stopped. There was EVERYTHING on this boat. Sodas, bottles of water, ice, cups, daiquiri and margarita mixes, a nice cheese/meat platter, and chips. There was also some crazy cool blender that looked like they created themselves to make us frozen blended drinks. Ian made a bunch of drinks for us which was awesome. He also took a bunch of pictures for us. And from a bacherlorette party of 7, he was super patient and took a billion photos of us from different angles and what not. There were also pool noodles, a huge pool floating mat, as well as a stand up paddle board. You can jump off the top of the boat as well. There is also a drone that he broke out halfway through our trip and took pictures of all of us. It was awesome. He texts you the pictures at the end of the day as well. We had a blast. He's super chill and easy going. And does his best to accommodate everyone. Everyone agreed that this was the highlight of our trip. I'm honestly already planning on coming back next summer with my fiance (soon to be husband) and booking a trip with them. The boat, cool blender, and beautiful lake views are seriously the best.
