The Back to School Drive helps children/students receive brand new backpacks filled with school supplies. You can work at their warehouse in August (be ready to sign up quick once registration opens because the spots go quickly) or you can help out at their office. For the Holiday Drive, they help get gifts to people in need in the Bay Area. This is a really fun event to do with friends and family. It's so cool to see all the toys, and the FGT process is very easy to understand. Would recommend this place for everyone in the Milpitas/Fremont/SJ area since it's close by.

I came from a rough background, a harsh childhood but that never prevented my parents to teach and discipline me. and to show me that a little compassion goes a long way. Due to restriction at work, I wasn't able to promote this drive but thank to Beth L., Craig M., Cristal C., Noelle J., and one of my coworkers for making this drive successful. I collected quite a few backpacks and felt good that we helped a few families. The evening I decided it was time to drop the backpacks filled w/ school supplies off, I was amazed to see the generous hearts that was there before me; I saw huge piles and piles of backpacks... I'm not there to help everyone because realistically I can't but if I can make someone smile and not have to worry about the expenses of getting a backpack and school supplies then it's definitely worth it. Donations and volunteerism isn't just during the holidays. Do what you can. Help others.

I came to Treasures to fix my Mother's ring that was passed down to me. A while back I originally…read moretook the ring to a "Scotts Valley Jeweler"... I won't name names (hint, hint), and I wanted them to just size the ring to my finger. It had to be sized up a bit. When I picked up the ring the gold band was stretched thin into an oval shape which flopped around on my finger. I pointed this out and they said they didn't see anything wrong with it. When I came into Treasures I was greeted by a very sweet and kind woman and then met her daughter and her husband. It was so nice to get that warm family feeling like they were going to make everything right that the other jeweler had ruined. Sure enough they did just that. The ring was brought back to life and made very strong and expertly crafted. I also had them do tipping to my Moms wedding bands. Tipping is when they build back up the prongs holding stones in a band. Both rings look fabulous and I'll definitely come back to have them set more of my loose stones in the future.
