I had recommended that they use a wedding planner, but didn't know just how good Moxie Events was until that weekend, although I had suspected as much as the bride described meetings with Shelly in the months leading up to last weekend. Shelly coordinated the rehearsal dinner (at the wedding venue), as well as the wedding. There were separate rentals for each event, and set up and take down of all of those. In 100+ degree heat. We paid extra for them to pick up chairs from the venue due to us leaving town after a wedding. They called and said we were missing 30 chairs and we would have to take care of it. Fortunately, we knew the venue owners well and had them go double count before they left. Miraculously, all 30 "missing" chairs were accounted for by the time the owners got there..... supposedly a "miscount". Seemed really fishy to us. If you are going to pick up and deliver the stuff yourself, they are probably fine, but otherwise..... I am not so sure.

Barry is AMAZING. We had him as the DJ for our wedding reception. First of all, he was…read morerecommended to us by the venue (Vue in Corvallis). You know if the venue is recommending a DJ they will be good, but Barry was so much better than just good. He met with us multiple times before the event to make sure he knew what we wanted. He set up everything the day of the reception. He had mics available for the toasts on one floor and the complete lighting/speaker setup for dancing on another floor of the venue. We had dancing for around 4 hours and the selection of music was perfect. Barry had the crowd up on their feet, was dancing himself, and created the perfect atmosphere.
