We booked a tee time last Sunday at 2:06 online for the "steal deal" the only time on the MOSS RIDGE site with this option; $43 for 18 and a cart. Booked! arrived, they tried telling us, that was NOT the price, and we tried booking on a 3rd party (Golf Now) website. After we showed the kid that was taking money it was in fact through the course site, he let us pay the $43. We loaded the cart and went to the putting green, after a couple putts we hear, HEY! I want to see where you found this price! That is not what we charge. That is not on my website, it was Randy. Again, we're explaining to supposedly someone who is in charge, what is on his website. That was the first thing. 2nd We make the turn to hole 10 stop to get some dogs and a drink, the girl at the counter says We don't have any more hotdogs, or buns, or chicken. ON A WEEKEND? again, HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT! The only good thing I can say is the Grounds crew does an AMAZING job, The course looks great, which is a different manager.

Playing the course in late October, added a new level of difficulty to the course other than the…read morealready challenging track. The weather was mid 60's which is not conducive to long ball flight additionally the course yardage on the scorecard was mathematically not long, so why did it play so difficult? Elevation changes are common, walking off yardage from the marker's is important to a player that desired it. I mis-clubbed all day and the dense air coupled with 6 beers the evening prior and I just could not score. The greens hold approach shouts quite well as they were damp, but not soggy. I could not wrap my mind around how lightning quick and how much subtle break were in all of my putts. I made one 8 footer all day-nothing outside of that and little inside of that. Its the shortest longest course I have ever played..

It was only $30 for the round + cart, which seems really reasonable to me (although I don't play often so I could be wrong). I bought some golf balls in the shop for $20. You can rent golf clubs as well. Since it was so early we didn't partake in any beverages, but they have lots of options for you to take out on the course with you. The guy who rang up our purchases also said the food at the restaurant is really good. The menu sounded tasty so I'd be interested in trying the food next time. The course seemed pretty decently kept for the most part, but some areas of grass were a little sad. I personally don't care about that but I know some golfers can be particular. It took us about 2 hours to play the back 9 and I had a great time. I will definitely come back to this golf course in the future. It seems like a pretty relaxed place for a very non-serious golfer like me.

Course is overall pretty well kept and I like the layout. There's 3 nine hole courses, and a 6-hole par 3 practice course that's fun to do in a short time. Driving range is convenient, although they pretty much always use the mats to hit off from now whenever I go there. Pretty standard "clubhouse" inside with some merchandise, food, drinks/bar, etc. Scott Lake is always one of my first choices for places to golf locally; good value for the quality of the course!

I told the lady I was a senior and she charged me 63.00 my reply to her is why so much to golf on a friday. her reply was that it's not a weekday this week and I had to pay the weekend rate. doesn't say anything on there rate board about some fridays as not being a weekday. I wanted to spend time with my Boy's so i paid her and continued to the tee box. after 2 holes we got backed up by a couple of Drunk foursomes and I mean a minimum of 15 minutes every hole. it took us almost 4 hours to get through the front 9. Screw this course I will never come back.
