Came on a Wednesday morning, booked a tee time in advance. I had the most positive experience there. I wish I asked the girl that was working that morning, because she was great! Drinks were great and hot dogs were even better half way through! Greens were in great condition. Carts were immaculate. If I lived closer would go there every week. I met my son and his friends at this course this morning for 18 holes. right off the bat it was a bad experience. I told the lady I was a senior and she charged me 63.00 my reply to her is why so much to golf on a friday. her reply was that it's not a weekday this week and I had to pay the weekend rate. doesn't say anything on there rate board about some fridays as not being a weekday. I wanted to spend time with my Boy's so i paid her and continued to the tee box. after 2 holes we got backed up by a couple of Drunk foursomes and I mean a minimum of 15 minutes every hole. it took us almost 4 hours to get through the front 9. Screw this course I will never come back. read more

Terrible experience. One of the worst courses to play unless you are going to strictly sit in a cart for 3 and half hours within 9 holes. After the new ownership they have no sense in spacing out tee times. We have waited for at least 20 minutes at each tee box. Genuinely ridiculous. read more

This review is only for the food I ate at the golf course since we golfed for free. The menu was pretty large, with burgers, shareables, wings, salads, flatbreads, sandwiches, and beer and wine. You order inside the clubhouse and then pick up your food at the little food truck outside. The patio was really nice and they had live dueling pianos when we were there. I ordered some boneless wings and fries, and Nate got a burger. One of our friends got the pepperoni hot honey flatbread. Our friends' food was finished a lot quicker than ours, so we were left waiting for a bit, not the best when you are hungry! Luckily the food was quite good - the boneless wings were nice and saucy, and the fries were really fresh and delicious. I had a bite of Nate's burger and really liked it as it wasn't overcooked and the everything seasoned bun was a nice touch. I'm really glad we decided to stay and eat after golf! I don't think I'd make a special trip out here just for the food, but I was pleasantly surprised at the flavors and quality of our meals. read more

Bathrooms are disgusting. Course is terrible. No water available on the course. Didn't see a beverage cart person the whole tournament. They only care about money. They do not care about their customers. There has been some new management over the last few years and it shows. I've had multiple issues the last 3 times I've been to this course. I used to love golfing at North Kent and now I don't think I'll ever go there again. read more

Course is nice, but we had 4 golfers and 2 riders, which made a total of 3 carts. We Were told it was fine when we started at the front 9. The course was extremely backed up and slow. Half way through on the start of a hole we were told we couldn't have three carts, which I understand is most Places rules. At this point we told the guy you want us to split up into 2 groups when we were already 2/3 groups backed up on the hole. He said rules are rules. We split into a group of 3 golfers, 1 rider and 1 golfer, 1 rider. We ended up seeing our friends right behind us at every hole Waiting with us anyway lol. So if you don't want slow backed up golf, I don't suggest here. Course is nice tho! read more

This course has been great for my parents, my fiancé, and I to go to. My mom and I drive the cart and watch (which they allow) and my fiancé and dad play. What we enjoy is that it's not super "over the top" the course is fine (not as maintained as others) and the signage could be better (such as for the outdoor bathroom by hole 4) but I feel like the more relaxed vibe has been great for us, very casual players. We have been able to actually enjoy golfing here even though we aren't great. Definitely a good course for amateurs that is reasonably priced (and seniors get a discount--which my parents have loved!) read more

Nice course, friendly staff, my only complaint is the rough is way to difficult. Speed up play by cutting it down. My foursome lost 4 balls in the rough we couldnt find. Too much wasted time looking for balls. read more

We have been playing here about 5 times and it seemed like a nice enough course. We played Sunday July 18 and the back up on both the front and back none was horrendous. The Marshall at the first tee was understandably frustrated. There was a large outing that had stayed in drinking beer and was 20 min late start which put everyone sitting and waiting. We tried the back 9 and they came sailing through often taking their sweet time talking and hanging around like the course was theirs. They were allowed this late start because they were spending money and so the other golfers were expected to just wait. 9 holes which at the most would have taken an hour and a half took 3 hours! If this club values its customers it needs to consider all of them. They need to use Marshalls on the course to keep groups like this on time and they never should have been allowed to start 20 min after their t time. We will never golf there again and we found a much better more civilized experience at Boulder Creek for about 3 dollars more and a very nice dining room as well. read more

Overpriced for an average golf course. Paid $27 for 9 holes and couldn't even tee off from the tee boxes. They recently laid new sod and had the tee boxes roped off. For being spring rates and having parts of the course under construction, I was surprised by the rate they were charging for 9 holes. I had not been out to North Kent in a few years but I noticed it had not improved since the last time I visited. You can find much better value on other corses in the area. If these were their spring rates I would hate to see what their summer rates will be. My suggestion would be for golfers to spend their time and money elsewhere. read more

North Kent Golf Course 1/5 stars. I hate to write this but North Kent Golf Course is exactly the same as it was 4 years ago, the last time I played it. I was told by a friend that the course was different and the ownership was better than the last. It is actually worse. My 2 friends and I signed up for a tee-time with their wives. We had two tee times set up back to back. We played after a league night. We were harassed by the Ranger because his boss (the owner) was golfing two groups behind us and said we were not playing at the pace of play. He said that we were playing with a five-some and we are not allowed to do this. We said, "There is a foursome in front of us and we couldn't play any faster. He came back again and said, "You don't get it do you." So we tried to go ahead, but couldn't and instead waited 10 minutes for the foursome to tee off with their foursome and then 5 minutes until we could hit. I don't like to hit up on people so we didn't press them. North Kent overbooks and has terrible ownership. The Ranger stated, "I am not trying to ruin your night, but my boss is two holes behind you and is drunk and yelling at me." That is word for word. I will never golf here again and I do not recommend it to anyone else. I don't think anyone should be disrespectful like that. read more

No, it's not a fancy "up north" course, but it doesn't cost a fortune, either. It's a very nice mid-range course. The thing I like BEST is that the holes aren't a series of boring, cookie-cutter par 4's. Each hole is unique, and you will remember it as you replay the round in your head! read more
