We stumbled upon this shop and spent a good amount of time exploring inside. This building was an old bank and has been since transformed into a Knick knack shop selling miscellaneous items--bath products, clothing, BUTTONS!, etc. This place sure gives you the feel of St. Francisville and small town Louisiana as well! 10/10 recommend popping in here to see what it's all about!

It gives you the feeling of walking into grandma's house as she's sitting in her rocking chair sewing you an outfit using the buttons and threads out of an old cookie tin. Now to the architectural aspect of the store. The store is located where there was once a bank, so the doors are roundes as if there was once a revolving door there. I absolutely love it! The store is HUGE with little treasures sprinkled everywhere , and a miniature history lesson tucked away in the walk in vault! The bright red building is hard to miss! But to be honest who would want to miss this place.

It didn't look like it was very big from the outside, but it is HUGE on the inside with an absolutely stunning selection of antiques. The gentleman working was very friendly and helpful, and made himself available to answer any questions we may have. I saw some things there that I have never seen before, the prices were really very good for what they offer as well. We came home with a couple of items. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend stopping there if you are in the area, and make the drive even if not if you are looking for some very high quality antiques at very reasonable prices!

I get the feeling a lot of these shops in St. Francisville now are cashing in on the tourists who come into the town and there for may not always offer the best deals. Some of my favorite things in this shop include the selection of Snaps for my snap jewelry, The childrens clothing area is great but very pricey - so watch for their sales. Two to three weeks ago I was shopping for a buffet/entertainment piece at Nadeau's on Perkins Road…read more I went back yesterday and found they had a huge price increase on a couple of the pieces I was considering. The price on one piece jumped from $387 to $725 (that is approx. 85% increase), another piece increased from $287 (look on their facebook page post on 8/18/21), yesterday (9/5/21) it's priced at $510 (about 80% increase). I will never shop there again. Beware!!! I even asked an employee if they had price increases, he said yes, due to COVID. Please tell me how COVID impacted merchandise already on their floor in the past two weeks?????? See photos of a third example of a price increase. Note: the higher prices in pictures are the current prices as of yesterday. I ask the owner again, how does COVID impact the pricing of items that you have had on your floor for two weeks. You raised the prices after having received them, priced them and placed on your sales floor. Merchandise that you already purchased and paid the shipping on! COVID has nothing to do with your greed. There is no moral/logical reason to increase prices by 80-85%!!!!!
