My strategy for finding any new third party is to read the reviews and try and synthesize the truth, speak to a decision maker and assess and finally ask for some quotes for the parts and labor. I spoke to four shops and of course everyone needs to see the job before finally committing and that scope can obviously change. Sam freely and patiently gave me some quotes for both (others couldn't get past - we need to see it), the quotes and the final pricing were both very fair and competitive. Mo communicated freely during the fix and heres the kicker and why we'll trust these guys moving forward. They easily could have turned the minor job into a relatively major fix and they didn't, the problem and solution was less in every sense than what I assumed it would be including their cost - great job the both of you!

From the start Paul was very laid back, and had no issue with us looking underneath the cars to see the condition of the frame. No high pressure environment, he met us where we were and left us to look around and see for ourselves the condition of the cars. He was very easy to work with throughout the whole process, and the pricing of the car I ended up buying was very fair. A year later, the car just passed inspection with no major repairs. Since buying, I topped up the coolant, changed the wipers, filled up the tires a few times, and took it for an oil change - that's it, for the whole year. I've had a couple of cars. The first was a sedan that I took to be inspected by Pep Boys. They charged me 1200+ for work to pass the inspection. Ok, it was a beat up car. For it's second inspection they wanted to charge me 2500 to fix the parking brake! They had blurry eyesight and thought the word 'stupid' was written on my head. Got a different car and when it came time for inspection, A neighbor introduced me to S&M. Best neighbor ever! I'll spare the number of visits but I will say that every time I go to their auto shop, they are friendly, understanding in their profession and THEY DO NOT TRY TO OVERCHARGE ME JUST BECAUSE I'M A WOMAN. I've had that last part happen too many times. I can trust them. Soon, I will need a new vehicle. My current one won't last much longer. The ONLY place I am interested in buying from is S&M and that is because of how well they've treated me every time I've needed them.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I bought a car online from this dealership, was told it was in…read moreperfect road worthy condition. I had the car delivered to me a month ago, and it still has not moved from my driveway. They sold me a car that has 4 dry rotted tires, over 10 years old each, no working reverse lights, a major electrical issue that the power seats and climate control don't work. The new battery I had installed does not hold a charge. The alternator winds too high and is not seated correctly, the fuse box gets upwards of 220 degrees. I won't run it because I am afraid of a fire starting. The list goes on and on. I had the car towed to a specialist (more $ out of my pocket) to check it out. They raised all the same concerns I had and said it is not safe in its current condition and will need upwards of $5k, probably more to fix all the issues. They even took my sales tax money, saying they had a third party registering my car. Well, the car is not safe for the roads, so it can't be registered, but they have my sales tax money still. It would never pass inspection. I was looking for a weekend driver to take to car shows and I got a total lemon! This dealership refuses to do anything, stating "I have buyers remorse!!!!!!" Are you kidding me? I was looking for this style car for over three years. I wasn't looking for a car that needs tons of work or I would not have bought it. Now I am forced to get a NY Attorney, get the NY Attorney General as well as the NY DMV involved. I did hire a third party to check out the car. He apparently doesn't know a lot about these sports cars, because he seemed to just look at cosmetics, not electrical or reverse lights or dry rotted tires (I could go on). I will be looking at this company next. Yes, the car looks nice, but OMG, what a mechanical, electrical mess!! A lot of my wasted time on this. I just wanted my money back, but now since it looks like this dealership doesn't care, I will be looking for a lot more than just that. Yes, I have learned my lesson. Due to this awful experience, I will never make a large purchase like this online again. Stay away from this dealership. It seems they don't care too much about the online customer.
