However, my opinion changed after my 14 year old daughter selected a gem stone necklace, only to discover it was broken when she opened it. As I said earlier we were the last customers, so Thursday morning as we left to return home, we stopped back to exchange it only to be told very rudely, "ALL SALES FINAL" it was a $4 necklace that a 14 year old girl used her own money to buy. The fact that it couldn't be exchanged is one thing but to talk to a young girl so rudely and unprofessionally was upsetting. When we return to the area, as we plan to do, we certainly will take our business elsewhere.

It's a tradition to stop every time I visit Cook Forest. I can honestly say it's the best store around for gifts or anything relating to Cook Forest. Some of the local gift shops have nice items - sure - but I have found they are mostly overpriced or mostly all homemade items. Parkers has a great selection of everything from toys, t-shirts, mugs, sandals, purses, jewelry candy etc. The list goes on and on. I enjoy every visit and always find something new to take home as a treasure. I love the jewelry the most!! Parkers has a nice selection of homemade jewelry as well as sterling silver and much more. They are open into the fall season. If it's before Memorial Day or after Labor Day I always call to ensure they are open. I was not able to "check in" when I visited the store over the weekend. I kept getting an error message stating I was too far away to check in but - I was there? I think it might be a mailing address or something off on how it's listed on yelp. If you are in the Cook Forest area. . I recommend stopping. Its a fun store to check out and the best in the area no doubt. I look forward to my next visit ...

I bet if you lined up all the merchandise in the store it would make it to Pittsburgh. Its a lot of items. Nascar and other teams have there own sections as well. Service was t bad either.

However, it was a nice change of pace from the Norm when we found homemade salsa, quilts, framed arts and various items that looked very authentic but they did carry a decent amount of Hershey products including; Coffee Muggs, Shot Glasses, Magnets & Keychains that pays homage to Hershey. After all, this is the Chocolate Capitol of the U.S.A At the time of our visit, there was only 1 person managing the store but she was very friendly and knowledgeable with the local area and did a great job in helping us out. I would only go if you're on a bus trip and don't have any other options. The gift shop is massive and has different merchandise than the park. They also have deals on certain chocolate items and sometimes have new products as well. The check out lines can get long but move very quickly. There is also a self checkout line than can be hard to find but is very quick. You have to stop by if you're visiting Hersheypark- don't miss it!

Loved the gift shop. I like you can pick out your favorites and buy them in mini sizes. So much delicious candy to explore. Make sure to get on the free ride and they Take your picture. We purchased the key chain. Parking is free. I am glad I finally had a chance to experience this and would not hesitate to return. Just keep in mind if you're traveling in the warm weather.
