They are also open in the evenings and on weekends to accommodate those of us who don't have flexible work schedules. The office is conveniently located in a strip mall, so there's parking right out front. But what's really neat is that all the rooms have a full-wall picture of a relaxing landscape which really helps with my anxiety. One $210 consultation later she advised that she could treat the tooth, but there was a possibility that if the tooth was cracked, she would not be able to help. Fair enough, but when I booked, I asked specifically about the likelihood of a good outcome and was assured that 'Dr Elizabeth Geisler would not proceed unless she was fully confident'. On the day of treatment, I endured the procedure with Dr Geisler indifferently gossiping over me to her assistant about their holiday shopping, and how she got a great deal on a Dyson, only then to be told casually that the tooth could not be saved and I would have to have it removed. At this point it became clear to me that Dr Geisler had been disingenuous, in fact she had little hope that she could save the tooth. That what I thought was a possibility was to her a probability. She put me through an expensive and unpleasant procedure for nothing. Worse than that, as an experienced professional she would have had a very good idea of the outcome, but continued to do it right before the holidays, leaving my molar ground down, in a weakened state and at a time I would have to wait some weeks before I could have it removed. As I left, she told me not to chew on that side because the tooth could break leaving me in considerable pain. So, after $705 I am in a worse condition than when I walked through her door.

Heather and the women at the front were so kind and friendly and really put me at ease as soon as I walked in the door. Dr. Dow is very knowledeable, funny and kind (and easy on the eyes too- wink). I loved him and would recommend him to anyone. The whole procedure was quick and painless. (I couldn't believe it). A very sweet women gave me my after care instructions and followed up with me the next day to make sure I was still feeling good (which I was of course). They really care about their patients here. I have received follow up phone calls asking how I am doing, Should I need another root canal in the future ( not on this tooth now ) I will only go to Dr. Dow.

I thought the procedure was going to be long and nasty. Believe it or not, it was actually quite enjoyable. Unlike other dentists, he explained what he was going to do before each step. I felt much more comfortable when I knew what exactly the doctor was doing to me. The procedure was done neatly and painlessly before I even realized. When I felt painful in my gum around that tooth 6mth later, I called the office and the receptionist was very nice to book me a consult on the same day. The assistant took the X-Ray free of charge. Dr Partnoy explained my X-ray thoroughly and confirmed my bone healed well. He advised me to get a crown instead of the permanent fillings, which was the same reason as what I expected. The team is absolutely professional and I would recommend here to anyone who needs to do a root canal.

I was referred to Endodontic Specialists by Dr. Robert Feeley of Downtown Dental Centre for a root canal. I simply can't recommend Dr. Glen Partnoy highly enough. He was very professional, straight and to the point. He explained the diagnosis thoroughly in terms I could understand and prepared me for the procedure. All in all it took less than an hour. Dr. Partnoy prescribed me pain meds but honestly I have felt no post-op discomfort of any kind. At then end of the day my insurer Manulife only designated eligible $934 out of $1355 for the root canal fee. They only pay the prevailing rate for a dentist to perform root canals as opposed to a specialist. For me I will be going to Endodontic Specialists everytime--it's worth it!
