First off, yeah, they know lots of folks are going to want alcohol, and I think half of the aisle endcaps displayed something alcoholic. While they had a lot of classic and domestic products, they do offer a decent amount of local beer, wine, and pre-mixed cocktails (even though the Untappd app said the local beer I was looking for wasn't sold anywhere in a 25 mile radius, Island Foods had it!). We came the week of Pony Penning, and the store makes a couple dozen cakes (see picture) to celebrate the occasion. The produce aisle is small, but they have enough that you could get a decent variety of fruits and vegetables for your stay. There's a pretty decent selection of meats here. I don't remember seeing too much non-frozen seafood, but I imagine it's hard to compete with the fresh catch with specialty fish markets on the island. I was pleasantly surprised to find several Gardein products, which meant vegetarian Child #1 could have some imitation meats and seafood if he wanted a protein similar to what the rest of his omnivorous family would get. Things are pricey. Inflation's here to stay and it's a touristy beach town. Considering that, it's not too bad. The folks at the register were very friendly. Whatever foodstuffs you're looking for, it's a good bet that Island Foods has it.

There's also toilet paper, pool noodles, medicine, household items, and etc. The prices were reasonable and the store was well stocked. The staff was also nice. The lines in here can get a little lengthy, because this is a small town and it seemed to be popular. But they moved pretty quickly. We found everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was the best decision we ever made the new GE washer and Dryer was delivered the very next day. In addition to the delivery men being fantastic we love the features that the new set has and feel so relieved to know that H&H will be there to service the appliance should it ever need to be and that we will never have to deal with A&E or Sears ever again. Any future appliances we purchase will be from H&H in Pocomoke City Maryland It is 2/4/20 our GE washer and dryer are working splendidly. Yesterday our Kenmore Elite dishwasher purchased in 2013 decided to pump water onto the kitchen floor. As I will do for the rest of my life I called H&H for service. I was told I would be receiving a call from to service tech within two days. In less than 24 hours I not only received a call from the tech but he was out to our home and had diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately the cost to repair the Kenmore exceeds its value so we will be going to H&H tomorrow afternoon to purchase a new one. I am so impressed with Denny he is absolutely the nicestperson anyone could meet. His knowledge is extraordinary haveing periferal experience with appliances I know his credibility is unquestionable. It may sound strange to say but I'm looking forward to buying a new dishwasher from H&H and getting the Sears junk out of our house. I'm so glad that I will never have to deal with Sears Home Services or A&E Factory crooks. So we received our GE profile dishwasher this evening and it's beautiful, quiet and we want to fill it with dishes immediately, we just don't have a full load yet. Eddie came by himself this evening by himself brought the new dishwasher into the house up to the second floor and made every effort to insure the greatest of cleanliness. He removed the old dishwasher by himself and left not a scrap behind. His installation was meticulous. If there is a more kind hard working gentleman that has ever entered our home we have yet to meet him. Our experience with everyone at H&H has been extraordinary but Eddie was wonderful. I hope the owners of H&H appreciate what a high quality employee they have representing them that they compensate him generously he certainly deserves it. We will be loyal customers of H&H forever, maybe it's possible to save a dollar by going to the big store but when you buy from H&H your part of the family.
