Note Foodtown; I've been looking for Midori for weeks its time to restock! I find the meat section limited and a bit pricy along with the sea food section but they do make smaller packages again helpful for smaller households. I do think the grocery and dry good sections are also pricy compared to the other grocery store in Middletown NJ. It's seems like you pay slightly higher cost to offset the convenience of proximity being the only supermarket between Garden State Parkway Exit 117 and Atlantic Highlands or Route 36. They just repaved the parking lot which is helpful since the rainy days would be such a mess in the big pot holes. It's all fixed up now and its a vast improvement. The lot is small near the store but as a whole there are plenty of spots either by the bank, throughout the entire shopping center or the extra commuter lot near the Wilson avenue entrance. I also believe the entire staff is friendly and generally happy a testament to the management team. I've been a patron for years and will continue to frequent this establishment. TRY THE CHICKEN you'll forget all about the Colonel!

She also listens to awesome music while you shop! The place also isn't overwhelming which is actually a refreshing feeling. There are two wracks - one is designer pieces she picks up to resell (at reasonable prices) and the other is a wrack of vintage clothes (all SUPER adorable). There are other accessories there, from belts, to head bands and scarfs, to shoes and bags, to jewelry. Tucked in the corner of the store is a dressing room too. Best of all, the selection changes throughout the week, as she is constantly updating her collection. The best part is there is a discount wrack outside and a $1 box - I scored a cute skirt and a cute travel bag in this overflowing treasure chest. Overall: what a sweet place to shop and I commend her for having such a fun store. Sadly I am a true thrifter and I rarely splurge on clothes, so I am waiting for the right dress out of her lovely selection to buy. I parked in the Dollar General parking lot because I needed to purchase items from the store. Before going into Dollar General, I briefly went across the street to US 1 Liquors. I was inside for less than five minutes. When I came back, a tow truck operator from TNT Recovery Specialists was already lifting my vehicle. I had not even made it into Dollar General yet. The operator told me I needed to pay a $75 drop fee because I had briefly gone into another business first. My concern is not simply that there are parking rules. My concern is the way this was handled. I was actively trying to shop in the area, was only gone for a few minutes, and my vehicle was already being physically handled before I had an opportunity to enter Dollar General. I asked the tow operator multiple times for the paperwork/documentation explaining the situation. Instead of providing the documentation I requested, he repeatedly asked if I wanted a receipt. I wanted the paperwork showing the authorization and details of what was happening. I have used this parking lot many times before without any issue, including earlier that same day. The lot was not full, and this was not a situation where a vehicle was abandoned or taking up needed customer parking for an extended period. It is frustrating that customers can be treated this way while a tow truck associated with this company regularly occupies multiple parking spaces in the same lot. After being a longtime customer, this experience has made me reconsider supporting these businesses. Customers deserve clear communication, reasonable enforcement, and transparency when a company is handling their personal property. I hope Dollar General management and the property owner review this situation and how this towing arrangement is being handled.
