Huge inventory, including a fair amount of older cards. Staff is friendly and informed. Pricing is very fair. I also highly recommend Berg's Smoked Meats or the Anchor Tavern for a meal while you are there. Belmar is a very nice town. I have made the trip to Sports Nuts from NYC a couple of times, and look forward to going again (once the Summer crowds die down)

The discs I received had come with deep scratches, rendering them completely unplayable. Selling games in this condition demonstrates either a complete absence of quality control or a disregard for customers altogether. It is one thing to expect minor cosmetic wear on used discs, but it is another to receive items that clearly were never inspected and should never have been sold in the first place. A company dealing in video games has one basic responsibility: to ensure the product functions. Kill Screen Games failed at that most fundamental level. Until they establish real standards for product inspection and customer care, I cannot hand them a good review.

We are so glad we popped in. Brie's mom has a deep love for vinyl and the bands from the era when records were the way to listen to music, and this place truly hits the right note. Ocean Grove has a very nice 2 block section of Main Street that has many distinctive shops. We patronized the store in Asbury and were quite happy when the store relocated (and survived Hurricane Sandy). The proprietor is a very friendly sort who seems to actually like what he does and appreciates our business. Now that we have 2 grandsons, we will be frequenting the store. The store itself is a treasure of wooden toys, dolls, puzzles and books with hardly a battery operated toy in sight. Who knew - toys that allow children to use their imagination instead of a button. They have a great selection of Playmobile toys as well as a large selection of wooden train engines (Think "Thomas"), a favorite of our oldest grandson. Prices tend to be a little higher the the big box stores but this is my kind of shopping. Take a trip to Ocean Grove (the boardwalk was destroyed but the town is intact), visit all the shops, stop at Nagle's for ice cream and then go to the Store By The Shore.
