I've been going to this practice for the last 3 years and I can honestly say it's the best care I have ever received! I am 30 years old with a history of an L5 compression fracture when I was 18. I played college sports and now am not as lumber as I used to be. Getting chiropractic care has literally been the only reason why I can still continue to be active and doing the things I love! Dr. Aaron has been my chiropractor for about a year now and he has done an amazing job! His knowledge and experience with not only spinal adjustments, but LIMB adjustments as well, has me coming back on a regular basis. Our daughter hurt her shoulder years ago in high school by lugging her books back and forth to school. Her doctor had her in physical therapy for three months before she felt better. Now if you're expecting an adjustment after a few minutes of checking in and telling the doc your back hurts here, you'll be disappointed. But that's a good thing, for starters they will scan your spine and your back muscles with some sensors. Then they'll take some x-rays and explain what they see going on with the scan. The doc will examine your x-rays before your next visit. On your second visit the doctor will explain in Great detail what they see going on with your spine, develop a treatment plan and tell you what you can reasonably expect to improve. I am not exaggerating when I say that Dr Katelyn has changed my life. I had been in pain for over 4 years (from being pregnant) and then had a fall at a skate park which made the pain almost unbearable. I came here from the suggestion of a friend and am so happy I did! Dr Katelyn did a full assessment with x-rays and showed me why I was experiencing so much pain. It took a couple weeks of getting adjusted but little by little the pain subsided and now I am pain free. I am able to be more active with my daughter and workout without stopping because everything hurts. I appreciate the care I have received here so much. I often have to take my daughter with me to appointments and they love having her there. The practice is very kid friendly. Not sure even where to start here... I had been very skeptical of the whole Chiropractor thing most of my life. Some coworkers mentioned the same hesitation until they went to Family First. I have to say they have really made me feel like family. I had only been going there a few weeks and I had shared that I would miss an appointment as I would be out of town for a funeral for my grnadfather. Can you believe when I returned from my trip, I had a post card from First Family expressing their condolences for my loss. Crazy above and beyond if you ask me. Dr. Cliff has been great. I have some issues in my neck that have plagued me for years. I'm thinking with his help I am addressing some pain that I have just learned to deal with over the years. I have been coming to this office for years. In the beginning, I was pleased, although a bit put off by the $ amount of the "treatment plan" they ask you to commit to with a monthly payment. After several years, I'm looking for a new chiropractor. Why? Because I feel like I never get any answers to my questions about what is going on with my body! I just keep getting the same adjustments time after time with no lasting improvement and virtually no advice or even comments when I ask what these things could be caused from. An updated exam and treatment plan would be terrific, along with some concrete advice. I feel like a number the last few years - no advice other than to limit stress - just cycle me through as quickly as possible because the office is always extremely busy as well, too much so. The Likes: The drop table method, the initial consults, will fit you in if necessary. The Dislikes: No updates on how to best care for my body, a little too much like a social club, the cost, still struggling with constant misalignments after years with no advice on how to change this, inconsistent amount of time spent adjusting and using other tools (one time, I feel like I get what my body needs, other times, I feel like I get the bare minimum and am pushed out the door still feeling the pain I came in to relieve). I'm not a chiropractor newbie. I've gone to others throughout my lifetime in other areas of the country. As much as they make certain people feel welcome, I feel like a number. I'll be the first one to say chiropractors used to scare me to death. I started going when I was pregnant and now I swear by them and refer them to anyone and everyone! I've seen several doctors here but mainly saw Dr. Rick. He knew I started out terrified and made sure I was comfortable and told me exactly what he was doing before he would adjust me. The staff is excellent as well (I'm super picky about offices because I expect friendliness from walking in to walking out). The front desk is super friendly. The worst experience EVER! I was in so much pain and could not get an adjustment. It's worse than an Amway pitch. They make you watch a video, fill out a ton of paperwork, have several discussions about pain and experience with chiropractors, excessive x-rays but NEVER a freaking adjustment. By the 3rd visit - still no adjustment - I left and never looked back. I drove down the street, walked into a Chiropractors office, explained that I had a pinch in my neck and was adjusted the same day. DO NOT GO TO THIS Chiropractor. It's a scam to get you to make as many visits as possible so that they can bill your insurance company. It's about money for these people, not good care. A good Chiropractor will NEVER ask you to make multiple appointments before making an adjustment. read more

I have had only GREAT adjustments at this office. Dr. Rick was my usual doctor but Steve has helped me a handful of times. I have upper back pain and was in a major car accident while I was their patient. These doctors helped so much. I found them at a wellness expo and was drawn in by Jen. An amazing personality. The whole staff is over the top bubbly in a welcoming, not off-putting way. The whole staff becomes your family. The adjustments are great. Manual spinal manipulation. I have held back information of where I have pain and Dr. Rick always found my issues. They are great people who better than great at adjusting. The only reason I stopped going to them, was because I moved, and haven't found anyone as good yet.
