Office was a little dated and being a painter i noticed a need for paint on walls and trim. Went in to try and figure out if a chiropractor could help with my golfer elbow. Dr. Luca is ahhhh-mazing! I went to this chiropractor office because they do imaging. I wanted a second opinion after I was told I have scoliosis. My first appointment was an adjustment and myofacial release. Wowza!!!! New experience and it was intense. My next visit Dr Luca reviewed my previous imaging and explained it all to me. What a relief! No scoliosis!!!!!!! However, my hip muscles didn't want to cooperate so me moved onto cupping. Another new experience. After two more appointments and no muscle cooperation it was time to take the next step. Dry needling. Ultimate new experience. While getting the needles inserted wasn't pleasant, the pain relief I had was beyond wonderful. I was so surprised and happy because I had been in intense pain for two months!!!! What I love about ChiroFIT: * Dr Luca tried the simplest treatment first. He wanted to confirm his diagnosis (Piriformis Syndrome) and he also didn't want to just jump into dry needling. I can appreciate that for sure. * The staff is super friendly. And the office is really nice. * The doctors are super knowledgeable and take the time to explain your case and what the treatments do to help. * The doctors are on top of their education. I love this place. I can't believe i didn't review sooner My Bad. Been coming a while now. This was recommended by a friend of mine who has come and did wonders for him so i came to see because I needed a chiropractor. Trevor May is my chiro here and has done wonders for me. I have gone to a chiropractor before I moved up to Reno from LA and he never really could get my neck. Day 1 of coming here, Trevor was able to do magic. Felt amazing and has kept me in line with all sorts of stuff. I always leave feeling so much better . Highly recommend if your are looking for a Chiropractor. Moving to Reno the one thing I was nervous about was finding a new Chiropractor that really listens to patients, explains their treatments, reasonings for certain treatments and what to expect moving forward. Dr. May and the whole staff at ChiroFIT are great! Dr. May really listens and addresses my concerns on each visit. I was having a lot of joint pain in my hip, which is pretty much gone now. They gave me exercises to do at home and gave me access to an app that helped me track my progress. That and the adjustments have helped a lot. He also reduced my husband's headaches tremendously with dry needling. We bring our teens in to see him as well when needed. Everyone is very personable and professional here. I've been too many chiropractors for adjustments but no one is as body aware as Dr.May. Dr.May is friendly and takes time with his patients. He will asks if there's any concerns but he usually knows what's going on when he assess the body. He knew I was having headaches without me telling him. I was in a ton of pain within my back and shoulder. After working 50+ hours a week for 2 weeks I finally took the advice of my employer and checked out Chirofit. At first glance the office gave off a great modern vibe, with enjoyable background music. The office staff was very helpful with the checkin process an got me situated promptly after my arrival. I am currently under the care of Dr. Luca, and very content with the diagnosis and progress he has been making with my injuries. I am now currently showing up for appointments twice a week and after my injuries subside, will certainly continue to have the team at ChiroFit continue to service my monthly chiropractic needs. read more

They were kind enough to schedule an appointment for the next morning. I don't think they pulled any strings or went out of their way, they simply made the appointment. We were unable to keep the appointment as work would not allow leaving. I feel bad about taking a slot and not showing but they were not professional about it. She mentioned "Well we held our end and held the appointment for her" as if that's a special thing they only do. The professionalism of the receptionist is roughly above that from Walmart employees. She didn't care to try and reschedule, they were only concerned with us needing to make a deposit if we wanted to schedule an appointment in the future. The attitude was more of them caring that they lost business vs trying to care for the patient and reschedule. The tone was horrible as well. One you might hear of a parent when they are highly disappointed in a child. This says nothing about the actual doctors, just that the receptionist gave a vibe of I don't care about patient issues, only that ChiroFIT was inconvenienced. A more appropriate approach using good customer service would be: I'm so sorry to hear that your wife's job would not release her and she is unable to have us help relieve her pain. Moving forward, if you know ahead of time that the appointment can't be held, please let our office know and we'll happily reschedule. Unfortunately it is our policy to require a deposit when someone misses an appointment. Would you like to reschedule with us? ChiroFIT, you need to hire someone who cares about people and/or train this person. I've done customer service my whole life and this was very poor service. read more

Let me start by saying Dr. Trevor is fantastic. However, the front staff is not. The girls always have an attitude when checking you out. The only reason why I'm still going there is because I have seen improvement with my back. Another thing I do like is that if you are waiting to get adjusted with Trevor and the appointment is at 10:15am you will not be seen until 10:50 if not later...is like the doctor and staff are not mindful of your time. Sometimes I do not have a whole 1.5 hours extra to sit around waiting. PLEASE MAKE PATIENTS TIME A PRIORITY! Dr. May you are great, but please..be mindful of time also focus on retraining the staff with quality customer service skills. Yazmin is always rolling her eyes when patients ask questions regarding billing. Not acceptable. I have talked to other patients who have said the same thing about staff and time....something has to give. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. May for years. When one doctor told me I needed back surgery, Dr. May provided physical therapy and spinal decompression that prevented that and left me pain free! He is an absolute life saver and the entire staff at ChiroFIT is so friendly and accommodating. You will be treated with compassion and care and you can expect to be fully educated on what is going on with you and what the treatment plan will be. Dr. May doesn't try to add extra services that aren't totally necessary. Cathy will always greet you with a warm smile and make sure you are comfortable and understand any therapies you are doing. Trevor May SAVED ME. First off, he genuinely cares about you getting better and on your own, not like other chiropractors who try to keep you coming back for their profit. It's obvious he really cares about his patients! I started going to Trevor this past Fall and he fixed a misalignment I'd had for years and never knew what it was - I just thought being in pain was normal (I laugh at that now.) He knew exactly what was wrong in a matter of seconds, aligned me and all my "random" pains were healed within a day or two - from my constant neck pain, to my upper + lower back, calves and foot pain. After like a month of going to him I injured my lower back working out and I could BARELY walk, it was the worst pain of my life. They were able to get me in within a couple hours the same day! If I didn't know of him, I'm sure I would've gone to the ER. Trevor was so helpful, empathetic and reassured me I'd be better in no time as tears rolled down my face haha, and he was right! I photographed an 8 hour wedding the next day and there's no way I would've been able to do it without his help that day. It's now several months later and I feel better and stronger than I ever have. He's given me workouts and stretches to do at home which have been so helpful, and now I only see him every couple of months to get aligned. Maggie at the front desk is so friendly, and Chad, the other chiropractor is also really friendly and helped throughout my ultrasound therapy. CHIROFIT has been nothing but great to me. I was extremely nervous at first, but DR.CHAD LUCA was very kind, thorough, and made me feel comfortable. During the intake he took the time to get to know me and my history, and I didn't feel rushed at all. I have also felt this way in every appointments since. I have been suffering from back pain for a while due to a freak fall about a year ago and when I decided to try CHIROFIT, immensely better. The clinic itself is also really nice and clean with high tech equipment! Dr Trevor May has saved me! I've had back and shoulder issues for years, been through physical therapy, several chiropractors, and monthly massages. At this point, I had kind of chalked it up to I would just feel this way forever. I happen to see ChiroFit on instagram when they had a booth at a CrossFit event. As a kickboxer and coach, I knew I needed someone who knew what an athlete puts their body though and Dr May has not disappointed! He is friendly, knowledgeable, and I've not felt this good in years. The doctors here are good however I left due to frustration with staff and hours. After ending my care I called monthly to check on my balance after insurance for 6 months. I was continuously told I did not have one. Over a year later I receive a bill that has to be paid. I called to get an explanation on how I could owe so much after so long. Once I tried to pay it I was told there was a 3% charge for using a card but I could bring in a check. The same day I left work early to take a check in and get this paid. I arrive 20 minutes before they closed and the door was locked. Instead of opening it to see if I needed help they got up and closed the blinds right in front of me. I have never had such a frustrating experience with medical office. I get things happen but experiencing problems even a year later is very frustrating. read more

Following my adjustment in the office, I went home with steadily increasing pain. I eventually lost consciousness and had to be admitted to the ER. I was diagnosed with a fractured rib and torn abdominal muscle caused by the treatment. A year later, I still cannot perform most of the physical tasks that I previously could.
