The study of medicine generally lacks in the area of office management. From the front desk, practice management and policies that patients see and experience. I have over 30 years of management experience, that includes ownership of a medical practice. So, I had my first visit to Advanced Chiropractic and here is what I found just last week. Initial phone appointment: Very friendly and informative and easy to get questions answered and make the appointment. A+ experience. Check-In: Front desk was upbeat, and even though they were quite busy, she made me feel welcome and made sure I understood everything and did not rush to get me set up. Added bonus. I'm a new patient and was given a tour of the office and various options they offer for treatment. I was impressed! I asked how long she had been with the practice and she replied, "How long do you think?" Then said just three weeks. If I were still in the business, I would do what I could to recruit her to join one of my companies! Then met the Chiropractor, Dr Melissa Perotti. I wish I had her energy! She confirmed the issues I had, asked knowing I had prior treatments at another office what type of adjustments I preferred and went to work! I experienced instant relief and told her which I've found important to communicate with providers. My sense was, everyone including the Doctor wanted to be there, enjoy helping people and have a commitment to patient care. Management begins with hiring and the front office even with a good doctor can really diminish a patient experience and I believe Dr. Perotti understands that and has not forgotten in her years of experience how to provide a very positive experience from that initial phone call, checking in, and checking out! read more

Great place for overall health. Currently dealing with some major neck issues and trying to avoid surgery. Dr. Perotti has been working with me to help alleviate my pain, so I am doing adjustments and the decompression package with laser therapy. Within a couple weeks I was able to take my trip to Europe with minimal pain, I was so relieved and grateful. The atmosphere is positive and welcoming. Today, I woke up with a stiff neck and a tight back. I called in and had to get updated on paperwork like a new patient, but Kelly was able to get me in with Dr. Rovetti within the hour. They both were super accomodating and got me back up and running. Without them and my range of motion back; I would have laid in bed. My body thanks you Dr. Rovetti and Kelly for your excellent care! I came in during an emergency situation with my lower back, and they were able to see me on the day. They also helped me with my pain and sent me home with a goodie bag with helpful pain relief creams and stretching exercises. Advanced Health Chiropractic - Oliver. - Chiropractors Near Me - Reno, Nevada

I have now been to Advanced Health Chiropractic three times and have to say - the care I get there has helped me the most of any chiropractor I have been to (which is admittedly not a ton but there have been a few others). I was in a lot of pain (lower back, knee) and they were able to fit me in right away. I was told it would be an hour initial visit but was there for two hours, which I wasn't thrilled about - but then realized that the way they could fit me in so soon was that they squeezed me in around other scheduled patients, so tradeoffs. I got a very thorough exam and overview and met with Dr. Perotti and she was able to do an adjustment - instant relief! So much relief. Amazing. Totally worth the wait. The next visit I also had to wait a long time but they have a nifty foot massager (and give you clean fuzzy socks to wear while using it) so it was ok. I arrived at the same time as someone with an appointment at the same time as me, so they do double book. The office is a comfortable place to wait, with lots of light, water and tea, and the office dogs, Oliver and Ranger are SO cute! If you don't like dogs (not everyone does!), go on a Tuesday or Friday when the other doctor is there. Otherwise the doggos have free range of the place so while that is great for some, I know it's not everyone's thing. Most recently I went with a pinched nerve in my neck that was excruciatingly painful and not only was I able to get a same day appointment(!!!), I didn't have to wait at all. I called at like 11:30 am, got a 5 pm appointment, arrived on time and was on my way by 5:25 with significantly less pain - I could turn my head. WOOHOO! Basically I figured out wait times depend on who else they're squeezing in and that waiting for the doctor for an hour or less was waaaay better than waiting days or even weeks for an appointment - and the top notch care is 100000% worth it. read more

Came to this practice as a last resort with a cross injury involving right hip and left knee. I was unable to walk upright and in the most pain I have ever experienced...It was the best decision of my life! Dr. Perotti is so compassionate and knowledgeable about both chiropractic care and regenerative treatments and fast forward 9 months and I am healthier than I have ever been, walking upright with minimal discomfort and getting better every day. I regularly see Dr. Perotti for my chiropractic adjustments and she is terrific and her treatments are great! Everyone in the office is super professional, friendly and accommodating. Earlier this year, I also received a stem cells and plasma (PRP) injections treatment that Dr. Perotti's office offers. The procedure was very smooth and professional, not painful at all and the ongoing relief in my back pain is simply fantastic! Usually, my back "goes out" once or twice a year, but this year, since the stem cells procedure, I have not had any problems with my back, despite some added stress and extensive physical activity since that time. I feel stronger and healthier and more flexible and active. Highly recommend this procedure for anyone healing from an injury or surgery or even simply dealing with degenerative disease changes as we all do when we get older. This is a great business. They have every modern quack gimmick gizmo one could ever want. Sure run a lot of people through this assembly line of chiropractic. Yes, I was disappointed. I'm just not one that wants to go into the chiropractor 2-3 times a week to get things adjusted. Just feel what is out of place and adjust away. I injured my neck in July 2023 (turned out to be 3 damaged discs). I naturally seek out chiropractic care for my back. I found Advanced Health Chiropractic on line and they got me in as soon as they could. I was in 10/10 pain for weeks and the only relief would be to hang my right arm over my head. Dr. Perotti knew immediately upon me entering her office that I had a serious issue. I am happy to say that after 5 weeks of spinal decompression I was pain free. I also love the laser therapy they offer in the office. The staff and Dr. Perotti are absolutely amazing and always make you feel wonderful. I left after being there 1 1/4 hours, with an appointment. They DID call me to apologize and explain. That did not buy my time back. I have a business that is in peak season and simply cannot afford to donate my time. I was told they had a bit of an emergency patient/customer that had trouble walking. And I am 100% sympathetic to unexpected/unanticipated issues creating setbacks in ones' business schedule - and - managing expectations is a critical element of public relations. I was taken aback by the array of health related services offered - it took me totally off guard as I was expecting to go in for a chiropractic adjustment. This is a full blown health clinic - and for the most part, the chiropractic treatment is done in a "public" setting. Two side by side adjustment tables with no screening or privacy. Advanced Health Chiropratic charged me $150 for a first time visit that I was not told about. Then soon after that they charged me over $200 for a deductible that they shouldn't of. Then when a new calendar year started they were going to charge me again. This would continue after every 24 visits. I have never been charged 1 red cent at several other chiropractic offices in Reno because I have Medicare and AARP Supplemental. It's amazing how they get away with this. They are nice people but you can get just as good treatments elsewhere for next to nothing if you have Meficare and a supplemental insurance program. Trevor May is one and there is another practice on Caughlin Parkway that is good. I have never paid anything at either of those two establishments. read more
