I WAS a patient until today…read more I called the office 3 times while on my way to my appt to let them know there was an accident and I was running late 2 calls went to voice-mail 3rd call was on hold then they answered. They don't care if you are running late bc of an accident. I arrived 11-12 minutes late and I had to beg to see if my NP would still see me bc my appt was 9:30-10 so there was time from 9:42- 10 but the office staff wasted about 4 minutes talking to each other and my NP before finally agreeing to see me. I'm NEVER late I moved 40 minutes away and wanted to continue with my NP but after the treatment I received today from the office staff and NP I will be going to see someone else. If they are running late I guess that's ok. There should be an exception. I was willing to sit there and let the next patient take my appt and I would wait. Once I was in there it was clear there was no compassion or care or interest in talking to me. Very disappointed and hurt. Sat in my car after appt and cried bc I couldn't believe a MENTAL HEALTH practioner whom I truly loved and felt so comfortable with really didn't care about my care but more about "policy" Very disappointed especially being I left so upset and there.was no follow-up call or anything.

He is a joke, he lies and doesn't allow his patients to provide any usable input. The tests he gave me were not needed and I had to pay out of pocket. Even after he said he couldn't help me, he had the nerve to suggest another test. There was NO reason to change ALL my meds! Apparently he makes his money through opioid treatment drugs as there were signs all over the office for them and what credit cards they took for the various treatments. His office felt like being in an old trailer with bad paneling, not that that's any reason to complain, its just with everything else, I don't see how he stays in business.

I don't feel he tries to really understand who I am. Yes he sees me to review meds & check how I'm doing on them but aside from that in some of our conversations I'm triggered by things he says not that they aren't exactly true but I just feel lower self-esteem & more self-hate & more uneasy because of them. However this is more a reflection of my self-acceptance now that I think about it. The reason I'm writing this post is because of his reaction towards the end. He was supposed to return my phone call & did not (Another problem is he doesn't return my phone calls like my previous doctors). Finally we scheduled a session & I forgot to cancel before our appointment. He seems to have been perturbed by this & i called & left him a message apologizing I had forgotten to cancel on time. Well, I never heard from the professional Dr Eli Zaller MD again! For me he is not invested in understanding me. If you are okay with this, then make an appointment.
