Located and easy to find; the medical plaza has a plethora of medical offices with a variety of specialities. Made me smile as I walked in as there is a Oral surgeon here that helped make my sister's experience with her wisdom teeth a little more hilarious. Anyways the office is spacious with a small frames space to check out some new designs. My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of working with Karen at the front as she was pleasant and worked with us as we didn't really have the best understanding of our coverage. While the forms were sent to us, my boyfriend had missed a sheet and quickly filled it out. Our 3pm apt was pretty on point as I was working with Jen a 19 year veteran to the facility. She was polite, professional and patient while I asked odd questions about my contacts and the place of business. Standard procedure with reading letters on the wall, machines to measure my detoriating eye sight and dilation to finish it off. Everything was quick and we were sitting with Dr. Sparks in no time. Nothing too serious lucky for me and we were moving on to see Denise who scheduled me for my contact fitting and follow up. They have locations in Windsor and Bloomfield which is nice and easy for me to get to from work so win win. All in all I had a great experience. Everyone at the Windsor office was friendly and tolerated the banter between my boyfriend and I. Stay tuned for my review with the Bloomfield office.

Very poorly organized office, very bad "waiting time"/"service time" ratio, very skillless reception manners. Natalie was perfect! She was highly professional, very sufficient and very pleasant. I can't stop praising her! Doctor was... just nothing. Natalie made all measurements and tests. My prescription was done by her in 10 minutes! But then I had to wait for Mr. Pasternack for awfully long time just to sign this prescription. Such a time wasting. Very bad service!

I drove to Primary Eye Care Center in Bloomfield because they are much closer then my usual optometrist's office. It was very busy when I arrived. I was okay with the wait because I had no appointment, nor had I ever been here before. I waited around an hour, when the very nice lady named Denise said she was ready for me. I handed her my lens and my frame, she took them to her station, in around five minutes the job was done. My glasses were also sparkling clean! Denise didn't charge me a penny for her work. We stumbled upon this practice by luck and stuck with them (except once when i was in a rush, went to a local place on my insurance list, regretted that, so I went back to using the reliable service we always got from Dr. Nowak from then on). As for the rest of my family, we always used Dr. Nowak even though he was a bit far from where I lived - found him as a referral we got when we first moved to CT from out-of-state, stayed with him because of quality of care. The doctor is thorough, careful and uses exceptional material - he insists on Zeiss lenses they, and his testing must make a difference because before him and since, I've really never had eyewear that's been so comfortable; if I had the money I'd fly back there just to get my eye services from him! Really, tried several providers here and there's always more than a bit of an adjustment to new glasses, never had that once with Dr. Nowak's.
