Service is good they aren't chatty, but not rude by any means. Just straight to the point. A great example of their service. I was looking for shotgun shot for a different application and don't need too much. So instead of buying a new bag of shot at retail. He was happy to sell me an older bag that was a doorstop for years at half the cost. Don't let their lack of conversation discourage your business with them. They have been around a long while for a reason.

I was able to get one at a local gun show that I could afford, but it was far too much gun for me so I brought it to Deer Creek to exchange for a smaller gun, having explained my circumstances. I had to walk close to 2 miles in the sun and humidity, at my age, to get there, and being inexperienced in such things and not knowing the correct procedure, did not bring a piece of mail to confirm my address. I had already paid for the exchange gun and traded in my gun, and filled out all the paperwork, and now had the prospect of that exhausting walk again, so I could not help but cuss about the frustrating situation - not at the owner, as witnessed by my accompanying friend. The owner, Chase, was so threatened by the cussing of a 73-year-old woman (understandable for the given situation explained to him) that he allowed his ego and self importance to dictate behavior and canceled the transaction, no warning, no discussion, no human understanding. If I had known this about him (which I should have guessed, when he commented to us about his girlfriend being ugly), and his sense of self importance and total inability to consider the circumstances, I would never have chosen to do business with him.

I must have messaged/emailed them 4-5 times to get 0 & truly 0 responses from them that EBAY & PAYPAL stepped in after I had to escalate it & even in their forum they didn't respond once but eventually got my refund back due to ebay/paypal guarantee policy. I would have had no problem & wanted to give them the benefit of doubt until they completely ghosted/ignored me which to anyone's eyes would make them look absolutely guilty of knowing this issue during this 2 week process to get everything resolved. I know things can slip through & mistakes happen as I also owned & operated a business for 10 years while also being in the retail industry most of my career, this was hands down some shady poor customer service practice.
