I chose a 14k gold double plate on a 14k gold necklace, 7 letters in the name. I expected it to be finished in about 2 days but it was done the very next day. Unfortunately I made a poor choice for the necklace. It was originally a rope style, really thin and dainty. But it pulled at my clothes, my hair and was really scratchy feeling. Definitely not something I could wear and feel comfortable in. I went back the following day and let the lady behind the counter know my dilemma. I was able to choose a new necklace at no extra cost and they replaced it in minutes. While I waited we chit chatted about how freakin cold it is. Although their selection of jewelry isn't as vast as other shops in the area, I noticed they do have a better collection of diamond jewelry. So while you can find XO bracelets anywhere on Graham Ave, this place had much nicer diamond bracelets and earrings. All in all, I'm very pleased with how nice the staff is, the reasonable prices and their willingness to work with me. Next time I'm back in Brooklyn I'm definitely picking up some new pieces from here.

Most of the items have really good cheap price, under $10, that makes it a popular spot for the young crowd. The aisles are slim, gets difficult to walk around when it's busy in the store. Over the years we have bought different items from the store like kitchen storage box, stationary items, kid's items. For the price, all of those items lasted longer than I expected. Staff members remain occupied at checkout register most of the time, but sometimes they also stroll through the store to tidy up things.

I wonder why it never occurred to me. They have a plethora of Metrocard Art currently on display, now that the Metrocard has become (or is becoming) extinct. Really impressive art pieces on view using the Metrocard motif in many very creative and beautiful ways. For purchase there's plenty of MTA transit merch too. Take a visit if you can. However, if you're looking for something free to do at Grand Central, step in here for a five-minute browse. For example, when Jamie W and I visited, we saw an abbreviated collection of art and outfits made of used MetroCards (Photo 6).
