We were welcome by Niko and from the moment we walked in, he offered to help us around the store and immediately asked if we would like both of our love bracelets cleaned. He was very helpful and gave us some good suggestions on the necklace. My son and I ended up purchasing a different necklace based on feedback and help from Niko. My wife is super excited about the purchase and he made the experience 10 out of 10. Hudson is a large area and shopping plaza! 4 levels! More high end stores located here including Louis Vuitton which of course I had to visit. They didn't have the wallet I was looking for however the sales gentleman was very friendly and helpful, even looking up what locations had it. Hubs and I walked the entire mall including visiting Edge and the Vessel. Mall is very nice although the restrooms are HOT. read more

Hudson Yards is an enormous building that encompasses luxe stores (think Bulgari, Cartier, Dior, Fendi, Coach, Theory, Neuhaus, Aesop, Dunhill, Ladurée) to name a few, restaurants (imagine Eataly, Bond St, Greywind, Little Spain, Estiatorio Milos, Blue Bottle Coffee, Queensyard) offices and luxurious residential apartments with spectacular views. The Vessel, famous for its unusual architecture and infamous (2 suicides) holds pride of place in the front and can be walked to the top. Jazz is played in a restaurant on the second floor. I like to find a table outside where I can eat lunch and listen to the music. A lot of tourists come here but it is a question mark as to how much they spend at the fancy stores? MostThe Edge is also located here which has an observation deck where tickets are required and is a tourist attraction. read more

Definitely check this place out for their seasonal decorations - we went there during the Christmas holidays, and their lighting was so great. Hudson yards is a high end luxury shopping mall in the newly construction Hudson yards district. The 7 line stops here as the first/last stop and is a very deep station (very long escalators). The Vessel and the Edge attractions are here too. The outside area by the water provides a gentle sea breeze and breath of fresh air (as much as NYC is able to provide). Hudson yards puts on a bunch of free programming especially during the summer like movie nights, music concerts, product pop-ups, and I think I even saw pickleball courts. They also host cultural events like for Chinese New Year they had lion dancing inside in the atrium area. The mall has high end stores but also more affordable ones upstairs. The escalators are a bit of a mess to navigate. You can't really consecutively go up the floors without crossing to the other end of the mall to take another escalator which is quite annoying. There's also office buildings above the stores here. I do appreciate that they have bathrooms available and some tables and seats lined around the railing. Good place to rest a bit indoors to get out of the elements. read more

I had a wonderful shopping experience at the Cartier store in The Shops at Hudson Yard on Wednesday 11/5/2025. As a young client and IT professional, I felt warm and welcomed by Sales Associate Julio Herencia. After owning a few other Cartier pieces only purchased online, I felt compelled to shop in-person for a Love Ring in the Small Model, as I never knew or understood my own ring size(s). Julio was able to assist with sizing me with the perfect Love Ring in the White Gold style, as that was what I was shopping for. The process for my purchase was seamless, and I was left with open-ended options for wearing my new ring. What I really loved was that at the end of my purchase Julio was able to provide me with a discreet plain shopping bag, although I was prepared to use a reusable tote bag to protect my item. It's been a week and I'm absolutely in love with my new ring; and it's the perfect addition to my small minimal jewelry collection. Julio was able to answer all my questions and inquires I had about my new piece, and even was able to have one of his colleagues polish the current Love Bracelet I was already wearing. I only learned online after mailing in an item for repairs this Cartier location can accept items for repairs. I also want to thank Julio for being an AMAZING Sales Associate; whom was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable about the jewelry in-store. I was even made aware of my ring size for US and EU size. The moment I walked into the Cartier store at Hudson Yards was very kind, professional, and ensured I was helped right away without having a standing appointment. I was even offered to look at other jewelry while I waited, and a beverage. I will definitely be back at The Shops at Hudson Yards location for future purchases, polishing, cleaning, repairs, etc. This is my first Love Ring and I'm thinking about purchasing another ring in the future to stack or wear on another finger. Welcome to the epitome of gentrification. Is this good for NY? Sure, of course, especially if you have the means. Social equality issues aside, we have been coming to this area for over a decade now and it has gone from being a remote part of town with limited transit options to a must-see destination when visiting the Big Apple. If you happen to be in the City during the holiday season, by all means, add Hudson Yards to your itinerary. There are 2 fairly convenient ways to get here via transit, a decent walk from Penn Station or take the 7 to Hudson Yards. Pretty decent stores here for shopping, enjoy the "Vessel" as public art, and if Altitude is your thing then visit "The Edge" for some amazing views of NY/NJ. It is also a stone's throw away from the Javitz Convention Center so very convenient for all those conference attendees. In summary, for better or worse, Hudson Yards is here to stay, so might as well enjoy it! read more

Jason Torres was a delight to work with and helped with selecting a new watchband, explaining that the 3 month wait is due to the lack of materials and the band will be made in Spain or Singapore once the critters are caught and skinned. Came here to report a ring stolen after filing the appropriate police report. The sales rep took my proof of certification and police report and couldn't tell me the next steps to the process...her response was literally, "I don't know, corporate does that." My new purchase didn't come with the cleaning kit the 5th ave Cartier provided. Service was beyond mediocre. We went in today ready to purchase but the woman at the reception stated that we needed an appointment. It was 7:25pm and they close at 8pm. She was reluctant to place us on the standby queue list and only did after I pushed her to. When we came back to check if there was any availability before we left for our dinner reservation, there were three different associates standing around the front chitchatting with zero customers to take care of. She still told us that they were fully committed and had no availability. I understand that they may have had other appointments coming in, but the least they could've done, which is what the Fifth Avenue location has done for me on multiple occasions, is see us until the next appointment shows. Not sure if this was classism or racism, but just save yourself the trouble and go to the Cartier on Fifth. Much better service and always willing to try and accommodate. I worked with a SA named Violeta, when we arrived we were told to wait for someone to call us (even though it was empty of customers) and asked to walk around in the meantime. While we were walking around a SA randomly approached us when we came over to a counter. We kind of looked at her like "are you going to be the one helping us?" She was. While she was generally nice, she didn't give much information about the products we looked at, she didn't bother to look for a specific diamond bangle I was interested in seeing, saying "I don't think we have it, nope we don't have it" in one breath. And when I asked her about a tennis bracelet in a different case, she wouldn't leave her area to look and gave me a price that was $25,000 OVER the actual price ( I had to double check online when I got home). We ended up leaving with nothing, not going to spend thousands with someone who will hardly lift a finger. Will be going to a different location where hopefully I get an SA that puts effort into the sales/customer experience process. So we had to repeat ourselves in English again so she can answer our questions even though she 100% understood what we just said. Way to turn your potential customers away with your nasty attitudes. I totally get it if the store was packed and everyone was busy but the whole damn store was empty and all of the employees were just standing around. After fixing it once for free, I can back because my bracelet still wasn't right.
