There are three tables for public use without a child admission, so may not be the best place to hang out on a busy day in case you can't find a table, but probably worth grabbing a drink to go for the convenient location. The light show is timed throughout the day and I arrived like 45 minutes early, so I had plenty of time to explore their "downstairs area." Tons of free arcade games. I played Pac-Man and whatever game it is where you shoot aliens. There is also a car racing game. There is an old school basketball game hooked up to an old TV. They have a large projector screen hooked up to a Nintendo switch with Mario and Zelda games. I actually really enjoyed coloring in the many coloring books they had. They have retro, funky furniture, fun decorations, and merch for sale. The light show itself is a fun time! No videography or photography during, but they do a basic show at the end so people can take photos and videos. You can lay on the floor or back in a pew on one of the many fluffy stuffed pillows and watch and meditate. They have great stoner music too (think Pink Floyd). And of course, the chapel itself is beautiful. No partaking in cannabis while in the building. They keep it family friendly (there were toddlers there when I went, but they were well behaved). They have multi-denominational church services a couple times a month where people can use cannabis. There is a lot of nearby street parking, as it's kinda in a residential area, though I took a Lyft. Also a mile or less walk to some of the main food and bar sites on Broadway.

As an observer, it appears to me that there are many programs that are insufficiently funded, and that they have a difficult time financially maintaining key components of the facility. Overall, the facility seems cared for and the staff is helpful. That said, it appears to have a very good preschool, the theatre is first rate, the health club is adequate but seems to be lacking many pieces of equipment. that can be found in larger health club facilities. I suspect that in the future, it will have far less activities and programs and will charge more in order to remain healthy and viable.

The shop itself is smaller but it has all the basic girl scout items you could want. Lots of badges, uniform needs, and then some fun items mostly geared at younger scouts. You can order via email or phone if you would rather have them just ship it to you verses going down there. Staff is generally friendly and helpful.

The interior and exterior are modern with beautiful whites and grays. Not to mention, there's a full kitchen and long kitchen island to put your food and drinks. There are two big decks, one in front of the Lakehouse and one behind where you can chat and enjoy the outdoors. There is a big pool where the community can go swimming and cool down. The view from behind is stunning, especially when your watching the sunset. I believe it overlooks the Aurora reservoir as well. Parking is a bit small if you're hosting a big party, but you could probably park to the side of the building and walk up. Overall, this is a wonderful and gorgeous place to host parties and to have a great time.
