Around Kent for competition, ordered some delivery. Took a long time but I'll assume that's due to the delivery service and not the store. Decent drinks and boba but there's a charge for less ice and there's an even higher fee for no ice. No options to adjust sweetness. Price is a bit steep. Original Milk Tea w/ Boba - decent milk tea nothing bad or exceptional. Tea flavor wasn't too strong but was somewhat present. Liquid is more creamy than tea-like. Boba was quite chewy but lacked flavor. An average boba overall. Winter Breeze - unfortunately the drink fell out of the cup carrier and the side cracked, but was still able to drink and try the flavor. Honestly okay with losing some of the drink because it was overly sweet but the kids love this type of stuff. This is a refresher type of drink but much like a juice. read more

For a small size, it totaled to $6, which was a bit pricey for the amount of boba tea. The Vietnamese coffee flavor was spot on and delicious! In just one sip, you're hit with a full of the strong iconic Vietnamese coffee taste. It also had a good balance of sweet and bitterness. The boba pearls were a bit too chewy for my liking though. Let's say you're on the Green River Trail in Kent and you need a beverage break. FamLe Sippin is conveniently located in an apartment complex right next to the trail on Meeker. Wished they had a bike rack outside the shop but maybe they don't have control over that. I've visited a couple times already and the staff is super friendly. They've partnered with White Center's Macadons selling macarons which is great because Macadons is an awesome small business. They've had a steady stream of customers walking in during the times I've visited. Drinks are good and the shop is very clean. It's true about the parking-it's very limited so if you plan to drive here maybe come during the day when people are at work or the weekend when people are out and about doing stuff. That's what happens when a business sets up shop in a mixed-use development. It kinda caters to its surroundings, e.g. the apartment residents. Attempted to go here but then they were on vaca.. our second attempt, we made it and they just opened maybe 40 min ago.. I got the pink lemon and asked to adjust the sweetness and the woman informed me there isn't any additional sweetener added. I end up adding lychee jelly into it too. Good lorddddd that was beyond 100% and that's without extra sweetener?! I couldn't finish it. Drank maybe an 8th of it. Pour some out, diluted with water, I added more ice.. it wasn't cutting it. It tasted like it was 110% and some. I'm usually at a 50% depending on where you go. I end up having to toss it.. what a shame. These drinks aren't cheap but I couldn't stomach (or teeth) it. There's a cute little photo op by the door where you can sit on a swing for your Instagram. the gal working there was really nice and friendly. My only complaint was the boba milk tea I ordered. It didn't taste bad but the flavor was a little off...it didn't quite taste like milk tea. Maybe it was a premixed milk tea rather than true milk tea? I'm not really sure. This place is amazing! The drinks are so unique and delicious, from coffee to boba they have it all. My very favorite is Lychee Fire, it's so delicious and addicting. I always come back for it. If you like Bobalust, you may be a fan of FamLe Sippin. They have an interesting menu that has brought me back several times, and there is a 5% discount if you check in on Yelp. Although I've given them several chances, I would say their drinks aren't my cup of tea. The milk tea has a very artificial flavor like the canned milk tea that you would find in the supermarket. I've tried a couple of their other specialty teas, but they are heavily laden with syrup with an undetectable tea flavor. Additionally, because of their use of syrups, you are unable to customize the sweetness level without affecting the flavor of the drink. Despite all of these criticisms, I will say that I enjoy the texture and flavor of their boba. I also like that they offer Macadons macarons so that I don't have to drive all the way up to Seattle for them. Lastly, I've only come in the afternoon and parking has never been an issue even though FamLe Sippin shares a lot with an apartment complex. read more
