Not very busy here since it's a little off the main 99. We were wanting Korean shave ice so we got the injeolmi one. As you can see in the picture, it was literally half ice and half bean powder. We were digging to try and get more ice cuz the powder was getting all clumpy. Need to work on this ratio. Nice enough staff, but wouldn't return.
Onit Cafe is a Korean-style coffee shop that serves more than just coffee, but other beverages and pastries, too! The cafe is located off of 320th street in Federal Way, which is very busy. So it was great to know there was a parking lot for Onit Cafe. The parking lot isn't dedicated to only the cafe. It is shared with the apartment complex nearby and other businesses. It is a small cafe, but can provide a great space to study, do work, or even socialize with friends. There were three or four people inside with their laptops, so we didn't stick around too long after receiving our drinks. Personally, didn't want to be a disturbance to others! I ordered the Iced Sweet Cream Matcha Latte, while my sister ordered the Iced Dirty Matcha. Both drinks were refreshing and delicious! You can definitely taste the great quality of matcha that is used. The Sweet Cream Matcha Latte lives up to it's name of being sweet. If you don't like your matcha too sweet, skip this one. However, I love my matcha on the sweeter side.

The bathrooms were pretty clean, but man the AC was blasting and it was so cold in there! How are people studying?! It was pretty busy on a Friday afternoon. Jasmine milk tea with boba: I recommend going 50% sweet or lower if you don't like your drink too sweet. The boba adds more sweetness so I think I would have liked it even more if I got less sweet. Tea flavor was pretty good and had a floral jasmine flavor. The boba was a teeny bit hard, but chewy. I'd want to come back and try different drinks when I'm in the area
I was a bit confused on where to park but I just wanted to try this place out since it was on the way after I left class, it's a great place to honestly treat yourself and I bet you could study in there too (I just just didn't have anything to study at that time). The bobarista was very nice and she made my drink super fast, at the time I was the only customer so it was very quiet and the place looked very neat and reminds me of the cafe's in Korea just a little bit. The drink I got was super good and I actually liked the macaron and wish I bought some more before I left!
The matcha latte with oat milk was top-notch and rich in flavor, though it was a bit on the sweet side for my taste. It tasted much better later in the afternoon once the ice diluted it. I've also tried a few other drinks here, and they've all been consistently good--definitely worth coming back for. The shaved ice was refreshing, but I was hoping for a bit more flavoring in the middle. I'd have loved more mango chunks in between the layers or even just mango syrup in the center for that extra burst of sweetness. Once you eat the top of the bingsoo, it was pretty bland. One thing to note is that seating is limited, so it can get crowded, but it's worth it for the quality drinks and vibe. Overall, it's a great spot for Korean cafe-styled drinks but I'd skip the shaved ice next time.

I tried the boba and the ube flavor really stood out: chewy tapioca pearls done well, and the ube tasted just like ube (natural and not overly artificial). The croissant-based dessert (like their croffle) was also very good, crisp outer layers plus soft, buttery inside. The space is on the smaller side but still comfortable and enough for a relaxed visit. Service was friendly, the menu was creative, and overall a solid café experience.
My friends and I ordered a dirty matcha latte, strawberry matcha latte, macarons, and injeolmi bingsoo. The drinks were too sweet and they use matcha syrup which we found funky. The macarons were quite good and I liked the matcha one! The injeolmi bingsoo was massive and not too sweet. You can really taste the injeolmi flavor and after you eat all the toppings it's just ice. There's no sweetness in it compared to other bingsoo places. Wouldn't come back
loved the silky feel of the boba. caramel toffee was sweet, but was more so impressed by the matcha. did not have that "grassy" taste that I usually get when I try matcha from other bona shops. I thought that the milk tea and boba were of quality...good amount of sweetness. Noticed that they did not ask about percentage of sweetness to customers, though... I like that there are different styles of tabling, but what would have been nice is if the place had some games like I see from other boba spots. I feel like this would have made a much more comfy and cozy feel to the overall atmosphere. I suppose that it makes this a good study spot, though. the cashier was kind and I am glad that she asked about my preference for how much ice. Even though it was near closing, the workers still had a bright attitude, so thank u!!
My coworker really enjoy the coffee MT there so one day she asked what I wanted so I stick to the classic is the Jasmine milk tea = green MT with boba. I guess that's what you can call it. The green MT had a good tea flavor to it. So the next time I can back and I tried the caramel toffee MT with boba was decent the only thing I would say is the boba was kinda hard not as soft and chewy. The service was really nice the server was sweet and friendly. The vibe was very chill a good spot to study and very clean. I would definitely come back and try other flavors.

Onit Cafe definitely did not disappoint. If you're not from the area, I highly recommended checking out Onit Cafe for the croffles alone :)
Such good matcha. Like, really good. And then they have this thing that should not be as amazing as it is. They put a croissant in a waffle iron and top it with delicious toppings and serve it to you hot and scrumptious. It shouldn't be that amazing, but I wanted to be a glutton and get a second one. Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #117 We visited Onit Cafe on a rainy Saturday afternoon in June, hoping to score an after lunch boba. Sprinting through the downpour, as we hadn't expected the rain, we threw ourselves into this modern, yet industrial shop, where we saw a couple of people sitting inside like us to wait out the rain. We placed our order with the friendly bobarista and got our drink within a couple of minutes. Jasmine Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The milk tea has a heavy powdery creamer flavor, but it's not gritty or silty at all. Unfortunately it's so heavy that the drink tastes almost entirely like creamer with only a tiny bit of flowery finish. It's not the most pleasant flavor due to this quality. While the creamer is on the heavier end, the sweetness is not; at half sweet it's not too sweet. The boba is very good, super bouncy and chewy with basically the ideal texture. They aren't marinated that long so aren't quite that sweet or flavorful. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Onit Cafe is one of those rare places where I liked the boba far more than the drink. I don't visit Federal Way too often, but if I'm even down there again, I'd give it another shot to see if I can get a better drink next time. Love coming here when I am in the area. Staff are friendly and my main order is their black sesame latte with oat milk. It is not overly sweet and you can actually see and taste the black sesame. I also used to love their black sesame macarons. The buttercream filling is so yummy and nutty! But lately the macaron shells taste like a freezer. Like on the verge of being freezer burned. Such a bummer because the shells have a great texture too but it's hard to get past that freezer burn taste. read more

Ordered via DoorDash, totally not onits fault. Dasher seemed lost I saw everywhere he went, he even went to the wrong house but my neighbor told him the correct house. The smoothie was good, so were the macarons, I got a free cheesecake for ordering more than 20.00 read more

I think I found this cafe through social media so wanted to give it a try. They had many desserts that I also wanted to try like macarons and waffle, maybe next time! - jasmine green milk tea 50% sugar less ice (3/5) : not a lot of tea flavor, nothing too special about it - Yuja ade (5/5): yummy! the yuzu jam seems to be homemade, and definitely completes the drink. I think they let me get less sweet somehow since I asked. I'm usually not even a fan of carbonated drinks, so it was a pleasant surprise. Definitely try this drink out! read more

ONIT has become my favorite cafe in the Federal Way area. Food: ONIT offers a croffle (croissant + waffle) that is a must-try! They also offer macarons with thick filling that aren't too sweet, just perfect for my taste. Drinks: They have a range of drinks from milk tea and tea to lemonade. You can adjust the sweetness and ice levels. Beverages are served in simple and cute plastic cups. Ambiance: There are plenty of tables for seating. It's such a calm and cute place to hang out with drinks or even to study. read more

More of a 3.5 rounded. Stopped by purely for the drinks after kbbq. They ran out of boba which is a poor showing. Our four drinks varied from meh, to average, to pretty good. Overall, I think it's hit or miss but the experience is limited for sure. Boba was great. Soft and chewy but most importantly there was flavor. Serving size was a bit sad. It was the last serving so it could've deviated from a regular serving (I've seen larger servings to empty out though). May have to revisit to get a better idea. Oreo Smoothie - it's not a milkshake, so there's already some preset expectations where it won't be as creamy. However, this became a blend of 1/4 Oreo drink liquified and 3/4 ice blend that's difficult to drink and relatively plain in taste. I'd say skip all the smoothies if they'll be this overly icy blend because other drinks will be better in taste and experience. Thai Milk Tea - a pretty typical Thai milk tea, nothing particularly bad or good about it. If this is your go-to drink, I'd still order it, but I would recommend some of the other drinks. Jasmine Green Milk Tea - added some crystal boba just to feel something because they were out of boba. At 30% sugar, I was really able to taste the green tea. It was strong and earthy yet creamy as a milk tea. Maybe slightly above average for a green milk tea. Ube Milk Tea - now this is a drink I highly recommend! Extremely creamy, sweet, and nutty. This ube is something you won't see at many places. It's nice that they differentiate ube and taro, but we didn't try both. This was the last of the boba and the serving was a bit small. It's sweet and chewy, actually pretty good, but disappointed in the amount. read more
We loved our visit to Onit. It is located in a mixed use apartment complex on 320th in Federal Way. Parking was not an issue, we parked in an open space close to the business. Once inside, the restaurant was busy but the staff was polite and quickly took our order which only took a few minutes to get. The restaurant is cute but small. We ordered a mango smoothie, lemonade, a strawberry croffle, and a variety of macarons. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the lemonade as it was not too sweet. I absolutely loved the variety of Macrons. My only gripe is that the macrons didnt seem fresh. Other than that I loved Onit. 8/10 I would recommend. read more
Second time coming here and their Onit signature drinks don't disappoint! I got the passion fruit Ade, while my friend got the Yuja ade. Both were tasty, though we did prefer the passion fruit Ade more due to the taste being more uniform and the yuja Ade taste being somewhat overwhelming. read more

One of the best cafe spots in Federal Way. I've been here 10+ times with friends. They always deliver! Their best thing is the croffle. I would save their save ice is just okay. All the drinks I've tried are good and consistent! I haven't had a bad drink yet. The do have parking, but the inside is small so don't come here with a big group. The workers are friendly, don't bother you very much. You clean up yourself. If you need a place to study, this would be a great place to just sit and bring out your laptop as they have a bunch of chargers on the bottom of the seats! They even saved me once when my house was out of electricity and they still had power!! read more
Went at around 11am or so and there were a few people enjoying their drinks. I guess it was early so there weren't a lot of food out for display other than some macaroons and some kinds of cakes. Environment: It's a small area but you can work there or hangout with a couple friends. There's also a bathroom for you to use. You have to walk into the building as it's part of an apartment and you have to walk through a little hallway. Staff: They were kind. I asked if they only have brown sugar milk tea and no 'regular milk tea' (aka not brown sugar) and they struggled a bit with that but it's fine. Drink: I got their sugar milk tea, 30% sweet, and regular ice for about $6.50 (tax already). It was okay. The size was quite big but I think, if I was blind folded, I would've thought it was another brand milk tea. Not saying they're copying but this flavor is very common. read more

I love showing friends this spot they're always amazed by the waffles and the ambiance. I would 100% recommend sharing one of the waffles with a friend and ordering one of their bubbly drinks. Also the owner is super nice I accidentally got there a couple minutes before they open and the owner let me in like nothing and let me order a drink that I didn't even notice they weren't open yet! 10/10 everything read more
Croffle = croissant + waffle The strawberry croffle is good - definitely smaller than I thought it would be. It's a good snack but seems a little pricey for what it is and how small the croffle is (~$10 for that single layer croffle). Drinks are decent - average price for the area (~$6) Macarons are decent (~$2-3) Service is quick. Seems like a cafe where a lot of students come to meet up or couples come for late night snacks. read more
Nice little shop hidden away in fw across the street from 320th st safeway. Pistachio latte was above par. The cream cheese on the croissant was very pleasant and not overly sweet. The croissant itself was nothing special but worked with the cream and berries. A couple macaroons later.. we had our fill. read more

Stopped by here on the way back from home from Portland to Bellevue. We got the strawberry cream cheese croffe (two pieces) which has been my favorite in America. Crispy, not too sweet, and creamy. Personally I found the strawberries to individually be too sour, but combining it together with the croffle helps balances it out. Service was great, the cafe is spacious it's a great spot to hang out or do work, and there are a variety of drinks offered. read more

Parking: The cafe is next to an apartment complex with a big parking lot with designated retail-only spots Inside: Minimal decor, not a ton of tables, but most people were getting drinks and leaving. There weren't too many people sitting on a Friday night. Food: There are so many options for dessert between milk tea, macarons, croffles (croissant waffles), and bingsus. We got the oreo bingsu and it was the perfect size for 2 people to share. It was delicious, if you've never tried bingsu, would recommend! On It Cafe in Federal Way has a quirky layout, but they've done a great job decorating the space to feel modern and Instagram-friendly. It's clear they made the most out of the odd structure with thoughtful design touches throughout. The dessert I tried leaned a little too sweet for my taste, but overall, it was still enjoyable. The café definitely has visual appeal, making it a solid spot for photos or casual meetups. Parking can be hectic since it shares a lot with a nearby apartment complex, so plan ahead. One improvement would be clearer signage at the entrance. Once saw a delivery driver resort to parking on the busy 320th with hazards on. That kind of setup could be frustrating for first-timers. I was craving a matcha and was given reviews for this place. Which I've passed several times but their store front can easily be missed since they're on a busy street. I got their strawberry matcha which was delicious. Next time I will be trying their mango matcha read more
Parking is a bit difficult as this store is on the side of the street--we had to park then walk here. I tried their special ube milk tea which was really interesting. It was pretty strong and tasted quite nutty. It was good but I wasn't able to drink the whole cup. I liked the jasmine tea better but the ube was still worth a try since it was so unique. read more

My daughter and I stopped by on 12/21/21, we were feelin some boba and this our first visit here. Located off S 320th Street (busy street). Ample parking available in the side and rear. This cafe is a family owned business. The owner is a Veteran, served as US Air National Guard. Their motto "Always Ready, Always There". THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!! Come down and support a Vet and a local business. Cafe offers several beautiful looking desserts such as macarons, sandwiches, coffees, Bubble teas, sparkling fruit signature drinks, croffles, cakes, shaved ice, croissants, Strawberry Bingsu, Oreo Bingsu, Grapefruit Bingsu and more! We ordered the Thai tea with boba , Oreo smoothie and Green tea with boba. They were all delicious!! Not too sweet. We tried the Nutella Croffle. This was epically delicious!! I so loved the combination of the croissant and waffle married together. What a genius idea!! You may order by phone or via DoorDash. I would definitely return to try other items. read more
