Better yet, most of us spent one or two Saturdays at Saturday school, err. Saturday detention like the kids from the Breakfast Club, The kids who wore Vans the most were surfers and skateboarders. There were plenty of those kids at Carmel High in California and I wanted to be one of them. That free-flowing blond hair, sun tanned face and the OP shirts and shorts. Dude! The flashbacks hit me like the concrete pavement when I bailed on my skateboard when I walked into the Vans store at the mall with my teenage kids. My daughter was totally digging a pair of slip-ons while my son wanted a pair of high tops. I almost got into the mood to get me a pair, but I was not sure if I wanted to go all the way yet. Brad was super cool and chill while he waited on both of my kids at the same time. He looked like my age, well minus about 15 years, but he was an adult with several cool age worn tats. He got a couple of slips-ons for my daughter and pair of killer red high tops for my son. He kept egging me on to get a pair. The peer pressure was real, I mean for real bro, but being Fall / Winter season, I was more intrigued with the beanies and the hoodies. I found a powder blue / yellow hoodie on clearance. It was like 24 bucks and I got a beanie for 8 bucks. I still think fondly of my trip back into Vans after all that time, especially with my kids. The experience did not disappoint, and we occasionally drop in to check the new kicks and I go check out the clearance. I still do not have a pair of Vans but that's okay, but kids have several pairs including my son who got a pair slip on with flames on them. Killer Brah!

I called Austin (I live in Oregon and have to travel a few hours to get to location) and told him my issues with the shoes I had. I was hesitant to ask for help, but Austin reassured me that they would help me fix my problem with my current shoes. I ended up getting two new pairs of shoes (different brand, of course) and two pairs of insoles. Timothy, the salesman who helped me this time, he did the new computer measuring of my feet and discovered I needed a different size than previously thought. Timothy was exceedingly patient as I tried on several boxes of shoes. I'm so happy that I called in to ask for help. Austin & Timothy solved my problem. I am a very happy customer. Highly recommend this location.

I pumped it up and it didn't hold air after about five minutes and I went to return it and they said that they don't take returns on their garage sale items even though my item was defective and nonfunctional they really screwed me out of 160 dollars. I can't believe they didn't check the items to make sure they worked before putting them on that return shelf.

The shoes I purchased felt fine while trying them on in the store, but I wore them two days and they began to make my feet and hips hurt. The fit was just off. Well, Eddie Bauer gladly accepted the return, and I got all my money back. Later that day, we returned to the store to buy three pairs of pants that were on sale for 40% off. Very cool! Story time: my boyfriend and I have just moved to the boise area from an area that had a moderate climate where legitimate winter wear does not exist and isn't needed. The best and warmest we have are $25 jackets from Costco that act more as windbreakers. I went on a hunt for good quality coats for us about a month ago, did a ton of online research and browsing. Eddie Bauer was a recommendation from local family members but the price points were a little bit of a sticker shock for me. Thankfully, just in time for the upcoming snow and bitter cold, EB had a killer sale. We bit the bullet and placed our order online for two coats we really wanted because the Boise store didn't have the exact color, style or the sizing we wanted. Waited patiently for our shipment to arrive, only to have the arrival date pushed back twice. Delivery date came and next thing I know our address was determined to be "unshippable" and the package was being sent back to Ohio with no way of stopping it. I made many frantic calls to EB Customer service and to fedex. I was told my only option was to wait for the items to return back to Ohio (14 day wait), then EB would issue a refund and our order would go back into their inventory without any notification. The exact items we wanted would then be available to all and as of now the items are listed as sold out. So our coats could potentially be sold to someone else. If we were lucky and diligent in calling everyday, we could possibly get them sent back to us with express shipping (so now we are looking at getting them towards the end of December). All of it was a big MAYBE and I didn't want to waste mine or EB's time and frustration of calling customer service everyday between now and then. I was pretty upset and frustrated at this point and still without coats, without the refunded money, and snow and bitter cold closing in. Seriously I was on the verge of tears. We decided to go into the Boise store and explain our situation to the manager. This is where Stetson came in! I showed him our order and tracking proof, told him of our troubles and asked if he would be able to honor the sales pricing we got if we could find comparable coats in the boise store today. He said he would and then he went above and beyond by becoming our personal shopper without us even having to ask. He helped us find comparable coats and searched for the right sizing and helped us settle on colors. I didn't feel rushed and he was friendly and informative through the entire thing. Although the coat I got wasn't the exact one I originally wanted and my boyfriends is a different color than the one we ordered we are both extremely happy. Stetson completely turned our entire EB experience around. It will still be a few weeks until we get our refund from EB online customer service but at least we won't have to freeze or wonder if we will ever receive coats at all this winter in the meantime. Thank you Stetson! You have turned us into two loyal EB customers.

Was told no problem to exchange if something doesn't fit right. Yesterday Dec 27th my daughter turned 13 so she wanted to exchange the jacket I purchased for her and did so for a few different items. ARI the "store manager" took advantage of my wife and daughter during the exchange and did not do an even exchange with same discount even though I was told different at the time of purchasing these items. After reading prior reviews of this establishment I think this is an ongoing process. Tell the customer one thing, but policy kicks in if you want to exchange. My wife has spent thousands at this store. We will never ever shop here again and I am returning everything my first day off of work. Customer service is a big deal to me and my company, Ari definitely needs some training in this department. Maybe just care a little bit more and that would go a long way. Merry Christmas!
