The benches have metal legs and are not anchored to a very slippery cement floor. It caused me an injury. The staff did not respond in inappropriate manner -one of the workers whose observed me fall didn't even ask me how I was. I was not offered any assistance. while there I observed children, jumping off these benches, and while the parents should not allow their children to do so, the staff should also ensure the safety of their customers. read more

Famous Footwear is great for the basics - summer sandals, running sneakers, maybe a pair of boots for the winter. I don't do all of my shoe shopping here but I'll definitely stop by for sneakers. They have a nice selection and the employees are nice enough. This spot is also super easy to get to. Located right in a huge strip mall, parking is plenty and the the store itself is pretty big. Famous Footwear, don't let the name deceive you. Yeah they have name brand shoes/sneakers but don't expect high end (Gucci, Prada) styles. I do buy a particular brand of shoes when I go here but recently their selection has been less and less so I just go to Zappos where you get modern styles and every brand of footwear possible. An advantage here is you don't need to be assisted to try on shoes. They have all sizes out so you DIY. I did notice their sneaker styles have gotten somewhat better but it still lacks recent styles. read more

I kind of have a different perspective on this place since my taste in sneakers is very simple. You will not catch me wearing $200 shoes. Famous Footwear runs a lot of deals and I saw lots of cheap shoe choices. I also appreciated that they would order in shoes if I found one I liked but they were missing my size. When I tell you these employees are rude, they are RUDE. Great deals but not worth the treatment you will receive inside from dismissive employees who clearly need a lesson in customer service. The other day I stopped in here with my boyfriend to see if I could find Nike slides. I was wearing some that day, however, one of them broke on me. My boyfriend offered to carry me inside the store so I wouldn't have to walk through the parking lot with socks on. We walk into the store and were immediately being HAWKED by the employees that work there. (Must I add, they made it very obvious that they thought we were going to steal something.) Now, I understand that the situation I was in looked sketchy, and a good retail employee should always be observant, but, I was only trying to purchase new slides. The whole point of this review is to point out the 3 or 4 employees that made my boyfriend and I feel extremely uncomfortable. (None of them were ROANNE.) I have mostly purchased sneakers and athletic shoes (Skechers, Keds, New Balance) but occasionally boots and winter wear although they do carry a full selection of all kinds of shoes. Hubby has purchased shoes for work ( Kenneth Cole Reaction). I have always found they have a decent variety and they are also competitively priced. It is self service but I have also been asked by sales associates if I needed any assistance. Considering it is self service they do keep the store neat, accessible and easy to shop in. Try to find another store if possible. Everyone ranging from the employees to the manager are very rude. I go in to pick up an online order and was with my 3 year old son. The manager was at the cash register and she just kept staring at him as he was standing by the deodorizer shoe balls. He is 3... he is simply curious, the faces she was making was very unnecessary. As it was my turn to get my order she proceeds to be rude and nasty to the point where I had to contact corporate. Definitely not returning. Close by and easy to get to. Super friendly workers and very organized. Love how they always have BOGO. Theres always a wide selection too.
