The staff is always friendly. I always find diecast cars for my son really cheap and beautiful vintage paintings and clothing and furniture for my home at unbeatable prices.

The parking situation in Georgetown is ridiculous already on the weekends, and with a popular flea market to add to that? Chaos, people...chaos. This market is open Sundays year round, (unless weather prevents it) and there is ample free parking at 2100 Clarendon. And more space allows for more vendors, and ergo-- more stuff sold means more stuff to choose from. So whether you are looking for a new place to eat off of (plenty of dining or kitchen tables here) or sit on (tons of chairs) or light to read by (funky old lamps with vintage shades)..this is a great spot to look.

There were over a hundred dealers set up with a mixture local produce, baked goods, antiques, household goods and junk. In addition, there are about 6-7 food trucks serving tacos, smoothies and fair type foods. There is an indoor market with specialty dealers. We arrived early and filled the car with treasures. The local produce was really nice with decent prices. I picked up a delicious cantaloupe. I also bought some flowers. Most of the dealers were interesting and friendly. It took about 90 minutes to go through everything. The walk ways are uneven, I tripped at least once, so be careful. Pets are not allowed (but I saw several dogs). All the dealers I talked with were cash only sales.

The people at the outdoor stalls are typical flea market folks, they have all kinds of items, some people are helpful others are just there to make a sale. There's a little bit of old and new stuff. Definitely check it out if you like the hunt and treasures.
