They're now carrying some serious footwear for athletes... shoes like Hoka, Lotto, Prince, and more! Whether you're out on the tennis court or playing pickleball, you no longer have to leave SOMD to find the right kicks. I'm talking real performance shoes, not just your typical gym shoes. If you're looking for shoes that actually support your game and you live in SOMD, this is the spot. Big shoutout to Tavion (or was it Trayvon? My sincerest apologies if I got it wrong!) for being so knowledgeable and taking the time to walk me through their massive selection. He was super helpful and really seemed to know his stuff. I'm one of the many tennis players that dwell in SOMD, and we needed a better local provider. And while their tennis equipment selection may not rival that of a dedicated pro shop, it's more than enough for beginners and intermediate players. Plenty of rackets, balls, and accessories to get your game going without breaking the bank. All in all, I'm seriously impressed with what Dick's Sporting Goods in Waldorf has done here. This location is heavily used. It is jam packed with items that we all come to expect from a TJ Maxx. I immediately went to the home goods section as I was looking for some gadgets and storage. I need to up my game when it comes to prepping and cooking. I went through everything they had to offer. I was half tempted to buy several items, but I brough myself back to my senses because I knew now was not the time to do so. Although, I'm kicking myself over this, because I doubt I will what I saw at the same price any time soon. I mulled over a few items, picked them up and walked around with them. I eventually talked myself out of the items. I will be back here at some point, I know I will end up with those items.

The cashiers never talk directly to the customer. They go get the manager just to say "your total is $22.50." There's no way there is a new cashier every time I come here. They ask the manager questions. And today I asked the manager a question, why did she ask the team member if it was possible and she said no but the service I requested I have done before. Absolutely nonsense. Completely unrelated but why on earth did they have a gucci iPhone 6 Plus case for sale for $150? Who in their right mind is purchasing that? I don't care that it's gucci. That's ridiculous.

Of the 3 things they did select, including a perfectly in tact Ralph Lauren dress, some lovely boutique lilac palazzo pants that were never worn, those two items alone cost more than $200. Instead, now you have to go on a scavenger hunt to find a clearance item in this store and then another one when you go to a different department. I always come into one of these to up my stock when it comes to my undergarments. However, at this location, they were out of my size in the type I was looking for. Plus, it felt like that section was lacking in selection and quantity. I browsed a bit more, looking at the styles. I wanted to grab some shorts, but I decided otherwise. I did check out the novelty tees before heading out of here. I did enjoy some of those.
