I came in excited to get discounted shoes. I had my coupon in hand ready to scan. I received the coupon through their rewards email program. The store manager was unable to add the coupon with scanner and refused to honor the coupon. Almost all the shoes are labeled as BOGO on first pair only but is only available when store is running a promotion. Total rip off in my opinion. They also don't have a public restroom which just adds to my frustration. read more

The Famous Footwear is a convenient location to get to if you're in the Missoula area. As for the full-priced shoes versus clearance and what they have available in-store there is an overall lack of variety in designs, and shoe sizes for the women and (boy) kids sections. This store, in particular, is highly overpriced. We found a few of the same shoes over in Ross (parallel to the famous footwear) and the shoes were at a minimum of $20 less than the pricing advertised in Famous. We made our purchases at Ross. As for the service, I'd hardly noticed the employees in-store. They asked us once if we needed anything and made themselves scarce afterward. I'm okay with that! Aside from this one pair of shoes that I found to be unique and cute, I'd personally suggest that you look elsewhere for pricing that makes better sense. Convenient to other things so it could be a shopping trip for more than one thing. Was moderately busy, clean, and well stocked. Lots of parking. Inside seemed well laid out. While the focus is on shoes, they do have related items. One of the staff helped find what We were looking for. Price was reasonable so a purchase was made. In & out in about 15 minutes. read more
