I saw the "Peltz shoes" store so why not check it out too, maybe they have Birkenstocks? Why yes, yes they do! I walked right in & saw them immediately from the entrance! My fave brown leather Birkenstock slides. So comfy. So happy. So lucky. I fanny about here & fanny about there & fanny about everywhere, always trying to get that great shot.. Have to have my fave Birkenstock slides. And wouldn't you know it. It was the last pair & in moi size! It was fate! I was only in the store 2 mins tops & was already paying for them. I just need them on moi happy feet pronto OuiOui. The very pretty lady that checked me out, signed me up for the rewards program & I bounced out the door so fast, had them on in less than 5 mins tops having eyed them from the entrance. So grateful for God's little miracles every day. Happy Feet, feeling blessed OuiOui. A variety of name brand shoes at good prices. The have a large selection of brands, and cover the range from flip-flops to dress shoes and everything in between. The location is good. It is at the mall, so if you need to you can venture in. However, the store is actually on the outside of the mall, so you can avoid the mall entirely - a huge plus. The staff is helpful; they often welcome customers as they enter, and happy to help when asked. The store is well kept, and there always seems to be good music playing. A couple of grips: larger sizes are sometimes scarce on some styles. Being in the 12-13 range myself, with several friends there too makes it difficult. Also, it would be great if the shoes were displayed in groups based on type of activity. There is some of this, but also grouping by brands. If I am looking looking walking shoes, I should not have to wonder down each isle to see them all. That said, the I have been before, and will shop there again.

They carry a wide variety of styles and sizes (including a lot of "wide" for those of use with duck feet!). They also always have buy one get one 50% off, so you can typically get a great deal on two pairs. On my last trip I took advantage of this to get a great pair of Nike running shoes (I don't run, but they are so comfortable) and a pair of New Balance walking shoes. I paid around $100 for the two pairs. The employees are always nice and helpful despite the store being very busy. They even signed me up for the new Rack Room rewards program the last time I was in. You earn a $15 discount for every $200 you spend and you get a Birthday coupon. It isn't much, but if I am going to spend the money there anyhow, I might as well. :) I definitely recommend Rack Room for everyday footwear.

Especially compared to buying new items these days. The kitchen section is also worth checking out. I got a stainless steel pan here that's become my favorite to use. The furniture pieces are definitely my favorite part of shopping here. They consistently carry well-made older pieces. My first job out of high school was in a warehouse, and I was required to wear steel-toe boots. Red Wing came through for me then, and later when I became a manager in another, similar warehouse environment. Yes, Red Wing footwear does cost a little more but it is totally worth it! You receive 100% quality and service here. They even have a machine that measures each foot individually. With proper care, my first pair of leather Red Wing boots lasted me nearly 10 YEARS! My second pair are 9 years old now. That really says a lot about the quality of footwear sold here. Tough as nails, and built to last. If you work on your feet, Red Wing is "THE" place for all your footwear needs! Plus, they also have some fancy $20 insoles that make "standing-all-day" much less painful.
