I was able to get my Birkenstocks in the next day. I've worn Birks forever so not a lot of shopping to it for me, just choose Arizona with brown straps. They did have some cool cork preserver which I hope keeps the cork sound. So can't really comment on the shopping "experience" but in terms of getting what I wanted and getting out the door, they delivered. YMMV. read more

Selection and service at the store were great, salesman took care of me, measured my feet on their computer thingy and I wound up buying a pair of Mephisto Sandals. The most money I have ever spent on a pair of sandals-$200+. They were good until they were about a year old then it felt like every time I wore them, there was a stone in the sandal. It had developed a crease or wrinkle on the innersoles which was uncomfortable to walk on. I returned the sandals to Mephisto and about three weeks later, they sent them back saying the materials to repair them were not available??? Whatever that means? I had a great experience here. I have a back injury and need good support in my shoes. I'm on feet walking a lot during the day. So I finally caved to go get some good shoes. The woman who helped me was easy going and brought a verity to me to try. I won't say the shoes are flashy or the cutest out there, but they were comfortable. I'll have to try and return back about how it went, but as far as the store experience goes I thought it went well. Sure they tried to sell me on their fancy sandals (because that's what the company was founded on they said) but at the end of day, that is their job so I can't shame them for that. Overall, happy. Store personnel were very courteous and respectful, however their Kendoh shoes with ankle strap are pure junk and store personnel are very aware. I have personally been to the store on five occasions returning these shoes. I contacted Stacy in customer service and she basically called me a liar. She said I was not in the system. I purchased the initial shoes in a closed store. I returned for the last time and the salesman told me I could get them repaired and keep them. He said this is why they are now discounted. I wrote a review on happy feet's website and now I'm going to put one on here. This is definitely a buyer beware company. My wife and I went in to the Saint Petersburg location so that I could purchase a pair of flip-flops that I have had before and really loved. The salesman then turned around and told me I needed corrective insoles and I needed a good pair of shoes. Then started piling things onto us. Thinking this was a reputable store with knowledgeable employees like their adS say we made a purchase of over $400. Within just a few weeks the $200 tennis shoes are now broken down on the sides, and "the must"have corrective insoles that he sold us slip around so badly in the shoes that I have to stop three or four times a day to adjust them. After I posted my first review, we had a call from somebody in their office about resolving this issue. When we tried to return their call several times over several days and several unanswered voicemails I was finally able to get someone to answer the phone. and behold, it was not the person that had called my wife "that person was out of the office" no surprise there. The lady I spoke to on Monday, December 11 stated that she was not up-to-date with my review. If I would give her two days, they would get back to me with some type of resolution to this problem. Glad I didn't hold my breath, this now three days later (Thursday December 14). As I said, this is definitely a buyer beware company if you don't want to spend over $1000 in their store they definitely do not want to help you. They say they want to help you if you have problems with your feet ,knees or ankles. actually the only thing they want to help you with is separating you from your hard earned money. read more

My pain is gone!! I used to suffer from a very painful heel spur. I'm so super happy with my new Kenkoh sandals. Well worth the $99.00. Also purchased Birkosport Insole ($64.99) for use in my athletic and dress shoes. Very Impressed with selection and extremely knowlegealble salesperson Paul Barnett. This guy is the best, probably since he has suffered with hammertoe and other foot conditions. I would have ordered athletic shoes but just had ordered them from another store. Amazing customer service! It was my first time here as my boss recommended it to me. When I walked in Armin asked if I needed help. I told him it was my first time and he escorted me to the machine to scan my feet. It showed my where I put the most pressure and my arches too. Turns out I put all my weight on my right foot. My arches are still great, just a tiny bit fallen. Armin first showed me all the shoes they had on sale. I wish I had found something in that area, but no luck with styles. I walked over to the wall of Mafestos & Birkenstocks. Tried on a few pairs and Armin helped me in each pair, he even buckled the straps. I settled on a thing set of Birks that felt super comfy. Looking nice forward to going back and trying out cute girly styles and knowing I am getting the support I need. I have a foot deformity and the struggle to find proper fitting shoes that are comfy has been so hard. But now I have this store and I'm happy! read more

My husband and I went in today for the 2nd time in over a year. Melissa Lopez was the one to help us. She was patient. She listened to what we were saying and answered every question we asked......and she answered truthfully,upfront. Both of us left the store with new tennis shoes,inserts for our individual needs and kenkoh sandals and flip flops. I'm not speaking for anyone other than myself or husband.... but these shoes and sandals made a significant difference to us. If by chance you suffer with back,hip,knee or foot pain....take a chance. What harm could it do ?? If you want to suffer....than that's up to you. But there are places like Happy Feet that at least try to help lessen the pain. Walked into the shop 10 minutes before closing, I knew exactly what I wanted to buy, Birkenstock Arizona slide sandal size 8 in any color they had. right when I walked in, I was welcomed with a "Nuh uh, I guess i will help you if you know what you are buying." and a pissed off look on a lady with a short haircut that it came from. I planned to be in there for just five minutes, not even. I was flabbergasted by the disrespectful welcome I got from that lady and left immediately. I bought a pair of expensive sandles walked with them once and they hurt my feet so bad that I went back to return them. They said that they wouldn't take them back because I had worn them. The sandles are brand new and it upset me. I basically took the advise of the store manager after coming off a cast and purchased them. They seemed very helpful until it was time to make a return. I came in here and gave this store a good review for my birkenstock purchase. Well....I just had a terrible terrible experience. I went in last week to get a cleaner for my birkenstocks. While there I was convinced to try their Kenkoh reflexology sandal. I was told that this is the only shoe this company initially sold, at a kiosk at the Tyrone Mall, and that they swore by this brand. I was told to try them for a couple weeks (as that is what is needed to fully realize the potential of the sandal), and if I disliked them in ANYWAY I could return them for ANY reason. I was told that this warranty only applied to their Kenkoh sandal. There was no mention that I had to return them brand new. If I'm going to wear them for 1-2 weeks, they are not going to be returned brand new so they can resell. C'mon. So, anyways I was convinced to buy them. Why not, if they are as good as they described, I would surely want them, and if not I can get a refund. I wore them for a week straight and didn't get any of the benefits they mentioned. I have a brookstone foot massager, and I think my feet can handle more "trauma" then most, so maybe this is why the sandal wasn't doing what was described for me. It was just a $100 cheap looking flip-flop that I did not want. I went to return and to my surprise the manager, Phillip, immediately got defensive. He told me that I shouldn't have worn them outside and that they need to be returned in new condition so they can restock. When buying them I made it clear that i was going to be using them on my Kayak and got confirmation they were water resistant. They clearly understood I planned on wearing them out of the house and it was clear to them that I was skeptical of the sandal but was willing to give it a try because of the return policy. I described to Phillip exactly how they were sold to me, and pointed out the saleswomen, who was helping another customer. Phillip didn't even care to ask his employee about the situation and didn't get to care to get her take. It was obvious that he is cognizant about their sales tactics. They must be paid on commission. It's really sad. I have dealt with so much deceit and dishonesty since moving to Florida...from people to businesses. I have pretty much resided to the fact that I can't trust anyone I don't know personally. It's really depressing to have so much scum in this state, when there is also so much good about the area. The only place to shop for shoes if you are concerned about the comfort and care of your feet. I have a job that requires me to be on my feet and be active. A few years ago I picked up pair of Birkenstock's at Happy Feet and I'm stilling wearing them today! This year I shopped all day at the usual stores and came up empty handed. At the end of my exhausting shopping event, I drove past Happy Feet and decided to make a B-line. Boy am I glad that I did! I found a fantastic pair of boots with cork souls that have got to be the most comfortable pair of shoes that I've ever owned. The attendant was very helpful in finding colors and styles for me to sample. Once I put these boots on, I was sold. It felt like my foot was getting a massage with every step. Happy Feet is not cheap, but the shoes are top notch quality at the same price, or just slightly above the crummy shoes offered at the malls. You are getting a lot for your money here! I've been wearing my new boots nearly every day since I've bought them. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in need of new footwear. read more

My husband and I just bought one pair of Kenkoh sandals and two pair of Brooks running shoes. Bill, our salesman, was very knowledgeable and thorough. He measured our feet, showed us our pressure points and brought out several pairs of shoes to choose from.
