I went to Samantha the first time and she cut my hair the exact style I wanted it. She knew that my hair wouid have to grow on the side to feather back so she did not cut it any of the side. I have never had a worse experience at a hair salon. I brought my son here to get his hair cut. And showed the lady a picture of what we wanted. Which was very short on the sides and long on the top. She absolutely butchered his hair!!!!! Absolutely horrible. The top ended up being very short, not even enough to style. Not only was it shorter than I wanted, there were pieces that were completely cut off and pieces that were about an inch longer than the rest. She cut his cow lick down to the skin and said we'll just hide that. And she buzzed a line down the side (which I didn't want, she didn't ask me) And when looking at him, you can see straight lines where she just chopped hair... I'm so incredibly ticked off. This was the first time ever that I didn't leave a tip. My son was heart broken that his hair was gone. I'm attaching a picture of his current hair, his hair before she murdered it. Recently, I went into the small hair salon to get my hair bleached. The process was expected to take a long time, however what made it take even longer was because the lady doing my hair was working on my hair and another lady's. After a good long while of waiting for someone to wash my hair, finally a different lady had to do it. The water was very hot. However, the final result was fantastic, and better than I expected. The salon attracts mostly people over the age of 50+, and not more than 3 people really are in the salon at a time, so it's pretty quiet, besides the fact that the employees are very noisy. Overall, my experience was okay, but could be better. read more

I am so upset. I visited this location for the first time ever yesterday. I had to take 24 hours to cool off. I sat in the chair and told the girl what I wanted and showed her pictures. I. Showed. Her. Pictures. This is a haircut I have gotten many many times without a problem. She started dry cutting it. That made me nervous. When I questioned it, she said she only wet hair to cut it if the client wanted it styled but if I wanted it wet that was not a problem. I have naturally curly hair, which she even commented on. Exactly why I wanted it wet when cut. She said "is this good enough" and asked me to run my fingers through it. I told her I would make it work. I told her not to cut out my ears and I asked her not to use clippers. She did both. At the end when I looked at it all I could say was "whoa that's short" and bite my tongue not to cry. She immediately got defensive and started saying she cut it like I asked and she kept asking me if it was fine. I looked at her and said "I showed you pictures. We are done". When my fiancée saw me he made the comment "Wow. Why didn't she just go ahead and buzz it all off?" Next time I will suck it up and drive the hour and a half to get my hair done with my stylist who knows what she is doing. I never should've cheated on my regular stylist. I didn't get this girl's name but I promise, even if my head was on fire and she had all the water left in the world, I would burn to death. read more

The location itself was not updated and not the cleanest, I have hair that is about 4 inches past my shoulders so not very long. I went in and asked for a 1.5 inch trim and a shampoo. The hair cut went okay besides the rushing. I was maybe in the chair for 20 minutes including the wash and blow dry. They had the audacity to charge me a extra 10 dollar "long hair fee". I would understand this charge if I were getting color or highlights but for a trim it just doesn't make any sense. I ended up paying 40 dollars just to get my hair trimmed and it wasn't even a great cut. I know I should've went to a nice salon but I didn't have the 45 dollars. Well in the end I paid it anyway so just save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

I use to come here regularly because y'all had an amazing stylist named Ms. K. Came back for the first time in a while to have my hair permed again. Well, the stylist told me that the price had gone up because now the perm includes a haircut. No problem, I don't want the cut so the price should be what it normally is, right? Wrong. I'm getting charged the same price no matter what. I do not want my hair cut just before a perm or immediately after because you have no way of knowing for sure how it's going to turn out. Stylists sometimes set the hair tighter than need be, and I'd end up with a jacked up looking head of hair because it's at my shoulders with layers. Besides that, it's always a good idea to get your hair trimmed up a few days after a perm in case the stylist accidentally gave you "fishhooks" and because it's healthier to trim the hair AFTER. This wouldn't bother me nearly as much if the salon compromised and gave clients a voucher to get their hair cut at a later time, giving the perm time to set and letting you know exactly what you have. This to me is a complete discourtesy to your clientele & I will not return. Ridiculous! Famous hair: famously ripping clients off since 2018. read more
