Usually I don't have much of an issue with this place but my recent visit made me a little unhappy. I got my nails done for my engagement photos and I'm not happy with them at all. The shapes are all over the place. My middle nails looks like it's barely there and I already have large gaps between my cuticle and where the nail starts. Today was my first time going to Fancy Nails..I recently relocated to the Benton area from Dallas & I think I've found my new home spa. Being it was just before the holidays it was quite busy but they are very well staffed, I only had to sit and wait for about 5 minutes. Lily did my gel manicure & I was VERY impressed with her, she was very quick without doing sloppy work. I am very satisfied with my nails and will be returning. Upon departure they even gave me a small Christmas gift (boxed lavender lotion) -so sweet to see a business appreciate their clients like that around the holidays. read more

Worst pedicure ever. Asked to have toenails short, but she cut them so short, the skin underneath bled!! Also dug cuticle on big toe that its painful. Nail lacquer has already fell totally off one toenail, 24 hours after pedicure. Never again will I visit that salon. read more

I've been to this salon a couple of times & never had a problem until now. The elder lady that did my pedicure was rude & did a terrible job on my pedicure. I will not return. As I walked in she asked me do I want to use gel polish because it last longer & I said no thank you. Then when the terrible pedicure was over in 20 minutes, she laid my credit card down in front of me & started to work on another client. I've been here before and it was okay. I am leaving this low of a rating because i asked for acrylic nails and i showed him the picture of what i wanted and he said he could do it. The nails turned out terrible was it wasn't even smooth, and the lines were uneven. When he was doing my nails he was pulling my arm all the way over the counter to do my nails and he was so rough about it. I started shaking because of how he was holding my hand so far up and over the edge of his side of the table. And after all of this, with a pedicure was these nails it was $79!! This was absolutely the worst job someone has EVER done on my nails. Not only did she absolutely tear my fingers up, down to the point of bleeding on almost every finger. She then told me "it's because you have too much cuticle, if you didn't this wouldn't have been an issue". So because of her poor job it's my fault? Then proceeded to tell me my nails were dry and asked everyone else around me to tell me they were dry, WHEN THEY WERENT and are messed up from her touching them. Also not the mention that the color and nails are STUCK to my fingers and not cleaned up at all. Walking in the place looks great. That's really the only good thing about this place though. Their color selection is extremely small if you're just looking for a regular paint. They may have more options for gel and whatever, but the service isn't even worth it: The lady was extremely hands-on friendly. I'm 9 months pregnant and she seemed to have a hard time keeping her hands off my belly. The hot towels that they wrap around your legs were way too hot. I was cut on one of my toes and one of my fingers. She didn't make my nail length even. The painting on my nails is choppy. When the finishing lacquer was applied, the paint on my design wasn't dry and therefore smeared it. My mom actually had to ask for a coat of paint on her fingernails, and then had to ask for another because her lady was only going to do one coat. Terrible, terrible service. Don't come here. I am 18, and do not go to an appointment by myself very often, but this day I was really wanting to get my nails done before I had to go to work, just so i could feel a little more put together. I get very anxious doing things like this on my own, and I think that was very visible to the employees there, leading to them taking advantage of me and charging me 20 extra dollars than I was originally told the pay was. Went for simple black French tips with a plain black accent nail and was severely disappointed. The lady was extremely rough and continuously caught the skin around my nails with the nail drill. She failed to apply acrylic on my entire nail and didn't even put cuticle oil. The french tips were extremely thick and practically look like horizontal strips and the nail polish had a foul odor. My friends had also came along and sadly had a similar experience. They came out with bloody cuticles, incorrect colors, and misshapen nails. A lesson learned to not cheat on my nail technician. read more

I went to get a pedicure and a simple gel manicure with my husband (I made him get a pedicure with me) they cut his toe and the pedicures were rushed and half my little toe didn't get painted but that's not even the bad part. I was so excited that I was finally able to grow my nails out that when the lady asked if I wanted them trimmed I said no just filed and square shaped...before I could say anything she cut all my nails off and filed them into a weird not even oval shape. When she painted the gel color on my fingers she left some of the color on my skin and missed parts of my nail and it's already starting to chip after a couple of hours. She cut my toe! The only thing good about it was the fact that they use utensils in sterile packs that they get from the autoclave. She seemed so rushed. I was the third person thru the door. It was getting busy while I was in there. You still have to take your time to maintain safety standards. So disappointed. read more

I have used this nail salon several times over the past year and each time it seems to get worse. The staff is very friendly but the actual nail service is horrible. I just went yesterday to pamper myself for my birthday and when I left there my nail color looked great but my hands where in worse shape then when I arrived. The nail technician cut my cuticles too short on 3 different fingers and caused them to bleed which has already started an infection on those 3 fingers. I go get my nails done to make my hand feel and look better but to wake up the next day and 3 of my fingers hurt because of bad workmanship makes me feel like I just wasted money and I would have been better off just going to a new place. I would suggest not using this salon and maybe going somewhere else so as not to waste money. read more
