    Nail polish far from cuticles.
    Kathy G.

I had an appointment at 12:00. Waited 30 minutes to be seated, which was not the problem. It took them almost 4 hours for a pedicure and gel nails. They do not have many nail colors to select from. Once I chose one from the color samples, I was told that they didn't have that one and to choose another. The pedicure took forever because they kept having to stop to do something else. No extra frills added, however, I did expect them to do a better job buffing my feet and trimming cuticles. I had to wait 20 minutes for them to start on my nails, In other salons, they would have been soaking off my SNS while getting my pedicure. So, another 30 minutes just soaking my nails. They filed my nails so aggressively that it hurt. I asked them to stop because it was so painful, and it was making my nails paper-thin. After seeing what the condition of my nails, I asked them to use gel. When she started putting on the gel polish, I immediately saw that it wasn't applying correctly. She kept telling me that the 2nd coat would fix it. The second coat, nor the third coat fixed it. It got worse. It didn't go on evenly and looked lumpy. I told the girl that it was lumpy. She just kept adding coats. When I looked at the final job, I was so disappointed. The polish didn't go near the cuticles, and the nails were lumpy. While sitting there, a mother who had been in earlier with her daughter returned. She said that her daughter was in tears and embarrassed because of how bad her nails looked. Her prom was going to be the next night. The mother wanted a refund, but they promised that they would fix it her nails the next day. I felt so bad for them. But then I felt even worse for myself when I was told how much the bill was-$137.00! I asked her to explain all the extra charges. She pointed out the price of this and that, which did not really justify the price I was charged. Maybe if they had done a good job, this would be an easier pill to swallow. So, needless to say, I will never set foot in that salon again.

Just left this nail salon with a $62 gel "full set." For the first time, I left a nail salon with worse nails than when I arrived.

I am so disappointed. I went in for a full set gel, for $62, and left with short, uneven, chunky nails with dust specks in them. This is the second time I have gone here (I gave them another chance), and it's even worse than before. Not worth the money (at least if you want a nice looking, full set of gel nails). Go at your own risk.

Uneven paint the picture doesn't even do it justice.

I was very unhappy with the results of my nails. They are not what I asked for. They are the wrong shape, color, etc. I tried explaining this to them and they said that was what I wanted. Do not get SNS there. They are inexperienced with it and have few color options. They also charged me for service I did not get. I will not be going back!

I rarely leave bad reviews but my last experience was just plain bad. I got a gel manicure before leaving for vacation. 4 days later the polish was peeling off and chipping. I've had many gel manicures and if done right they should last weeks. I don't know if the lady was just having an off day but it felt rushed and obviously something was done wrong. For the price they charge you would expect it to last the amount of time it should. I've gotten many gel manicures for cheaper in Florida and they were much better

A couple months ago, I made an appointment through their website during business hours. When I came at the appointed time, the door was locked. I called and someone picked up and told me she was sick and to make an appointment for a different day, even though my initial appointment had been placed and I had gotten a confirmation text. I didn't even get a discount for coming on a different day after driving to their shop initially, and finding them closed during business hours and with a scheduled appointment. This week, I received a birthday text to get $10 off my next visit. I had gotten my nails done a week ago and they were already chipped but I figured I would just come get them done again instead of asking for them to be redone, since there was a decent discount. The same person who had done my nails last week, which chipped, did my nails this time. The job was rushed and I had to ask my nail person to clean up the edges before leaving because he wanted to send me out with paint still on my skin around the nails on both hands. This poor service was already concerning. When I got to the cash register I showed them the $10 off text and they told me it was only for certain services so they wouldn't give me the discount, even though none of that was stated in the text. I asked them if they would send out these stipulations with their texts in the future because otherwise it's misleading. They told me no. I still paid them and tipped decently even though I honestly felt like giving them no tip with how bad the service was. This was more a reflection of me trying to bring my own emotions under control and be a better person, than any reflection of their service which was very poor. But I no longer plan to come to them in the future. The problem isn't just the service...it's the refusal to improve communication even after I've spoken with them about it and given them multiple chances to improve. Update: it's been less than 24 hours and my nails are already chipped again. The excuse is that it's regular polish. I've had my nails done with regular polish by other nail salons and it lasts more than a day. Making excuses for poor work and doing nothing to improve, is unacceptable in my opinion.

I'm very picky and read reviews on many many places and I'm SO glad I took a chance here! This place blew my home nail salon out of the water and I would gladly and quickly return any chance I get. I got the peppermint pedicure and it was so relaxing and worth the money. My manicure looks incredible I am overjoyed with how it turned out! The attention to detail here is outstanding. Coming here left me feeling so relaxed and so so happy with my fingernails and toes . Thank you so much Vin Nails & Spa you guys are the BEST!!!!!!

We just moved to the area so I started looking for a shop that did quality pedicures. For me,…read morequality is not rushed, minimum 45 minutes and overall relaxing. My shop before is kind of far away, so figured I give a new spot a try. Based on the reviews this sounded like a great place to go. Numerous reviews stating comfy pedicures that weren't rushed and were relaxing. This was KEY for me. Now, my other shop is a force to be reckoned with so this sounded like the same vibe. Unfortunately, it fell very short for me. The first thing I rarely do is book a pedicure without the amount of time stated on their menu. Which this place did not have, but did state how long the massage would be during the service you picked. We did Vin's pedicure which included an 8 minute massage. Do I feel like I was massaged for 8 minutes? Not really. Not only that, the service was done in 30 minutes. The color I picked was not cleaned up around the edges and my pinky toe had a piece of nail that wasn't even polished. For me, the quality is just not there. Attention to detail was lacking and it's honestly not something I want anyone to fix per se, because it should have already been done in the first place. Last but certainly not least, my feet were so dry when I left. No cuticle oil or anything. For what we paid, I wasn't impressed and would rather spend more for a quality pedi vs a turn and burn pedi. Now the pros: nice massage chairs, complimentary drink and they offer wine as well. The 2nd drink you would have to pay for.
