Just had the worst experience ever! I honestly couldn't be any more upset. I went in to get my nails done for my Valentine's Day date, and ended up with an awful mess! I showed a photo of what I wanted and what I got was nothing at all like what I asked for! (Not even close-- See photos). I seriously thought she was joking when she said I was finished. Then she tried to cop an attitude with me when I expressed how dissatisfied I was. I'm not usually one to complain, but this by far was the worst set of nails I've ever had. I don't think anyone would have be happy with them. I can't explain how awful they were, but look at the photos and you'll understand. I ended up asking to just have them repainted a solid color. I'm a fan of The Nail Spa! I love the location, it's right next to Target and very close to my house and all of my normal stops in Edmond. It is very clean and inviting. I love that I can tell that they put care into sanitizing instruments and they also keep the salon super clean. I never smell acrylic or acetone when I go in. The decor is pretty and today they had Hallmark Christmas movies on the tv! Loved it. They're also doing 10% off services for the holidays this November & December! My bridesmaids and I had our manis and pedis done here for my wedding a couple of years ago and we received wonderful service then as well. We were all offered drinks and they gave us a party discount. Definitely book with them ahead of time if you want to book a pedi party! Angel did my nails today and I'm so happy to say that I've found my new nail tech! She was so sweet, and she took her time making sure my gel mani was absolutely perfect. Today I went into this salon last minute to get a quick manicure and eyebrow wax. The manicure was perfect and the man working on my nails was absolutely the best. However, once I was done with my manicure I went to the back to get my eyebrows dooms and my whole experience after this was horrible. She completely waxed off my tips, because they were about to close and I needed to get back home I did not pay much attention until I left the salon. It will now probably take me months to grow my eyebrows bacK.. PLEASE do not have people wax your customers eye brows if they have NO idea what they're doing. Basic mani and pedi, no color, just buff and shine. $35 is pretty standard. I am in town from out of state visiting family and just wanted my fingernails and toenails cleaned up. The tech left all of my nails filed unevenly, dirt still under a few nails, he didn't push and trim my cuticles enough, and he barely did the buff and shine on my fingernails. He didn't do it at all on my toenails. He also missed an entire area of my heel when scrubbing with the pumice. I left there and stopped at a dollar store on my way to my family's house to buy a manicure block, cuticle cutter, and nail file to correct all of my nails for less than $7. I went in the other day and just wanted a full set of nails with the color baby pink. The lady put the dip powder on my nails and finished it with a clear coat. Definitely would recommend. The place is nice and clean, and the staff is friendly and very detail oriented. When I had gone I had chosen a color most people don't pick and as a result the polish was too old to be as pretty as it could be. The woman helping me (I cannot recall her name, sorry) went picked several polishes close to the color I had we went through them until we found one I was happy with. She was very meticulous and did a wonderful job with my nails. I'm a nurse so I'm constantly washing my hands and putting my nails through...a lot... so even shellac if it is too hastily done will not last past a couple of shifts but it has been over a week and my nails look as pristine as they did after I just had them done! I dunno. Not horrible. Not great. The atmosphere is pretty depressing--discovers a lot of the surfaces that aren't used regularly. I like the fact that they use sterile instruments from a new pack, but other than that the cleanliness isn't obvious. The service was good, the lady who did my nails (Debbie) was sweet. Brand new to Edmond from California, so this was my first time here. Can't say I was disappointed as they were all extremely nice, friendly, and did an awesome job! This has to be my best nail experience so far. I was a walk in and was greeted immediately and was able to get serviced within 5 minutes. I was offered a drink, water, wine, coke as soon as I sat down. The gentlemen who started my pedicure was extremely gentle, and the two ladies who finished my pedicure were just as nice and gentle. The one woman took my design request and made it even nicer than I could come up with. The place is clean and they use plastic inserts in their chair's tub. I saw them take the instruments from a sealed sanitized package. Unlike other nail salons I've been to there are no surprise charges, you pay what their brochure says. One gentleman did try to sell the upgraded service to myself and services to one of the mothers waiting for her children, but he was not overly pushy about it. Will definitely be back! read more

I love love love this place. My daughters and I had a wonderful experience here awhile back on our mommy/daughter date. My daughters (9 and 6 at the time) were valued as customers and felt secure and grown up. The owner seemed genuinely proud of the business and was excited to share some plans for remodel. Just went there for the first time today based on the ratings here. The shop is smaller and very clean. The massage chairs are great and very new. Angel did my mani/pedi and she did a very meticulous superb job. As a guy this was probably my seventh mani/pedi (first six were done at another shop) and definitely the best. Angel finished my fingernails with a buffing pad and they look great. I did the $35.00 package and there was no pressure to upgrade. The basic package had enough bells and whistles to keep me happy. For the guys, if you haven't had a mani/pedi, do it now. It is the only way to keep your digits looking spiffy, clean, squared-away, and impressive to the woman in your life. I've been here twice and the first time my experience was good, but this second time... First, the good part. The young lady who did my eyebrow wax was awesome (I think her name is Tammy). I have terrible eyebrows (patchy and all over the place), but she made them look so good. The table that you lay on to get the waxing done is not sturdy for a plus-sized person, however, so keep that in mind (I almost flipped it over when I tried to get up from it, but I'm not faulting the salon for that, just cautioning larger sized folks about it). Now, for the not-so-good part of my experience. I don't know why the young lady who did my eyebrows didn't do my fill, but she directed me to the gentlemen who did my fill the first time so I thought okay, no big deal (she did service another customer who came in about ten minutes later after chatting with another nail tech during that time, so maybe she felt like chatting and not working *shrug*). Anyway, I told the gentleman I needed a fill, trim and clear buff so that my nails were shiny without clear polish (I always get this done). Well, I don't know what happened, but he tore my left hand up with that drill--I believe the setting was too high. He cut me in four different spots and burned me on every finger on my left hand except for my thumb. I do not take being burned or cut by drills lightly and I do harshly judge a nail salon and nail techs on that--if you're a professional, you should know not to run the drill so fast that you're actually burning/cutting a client when you go around the outer edge of the nail. It's actually taken a few days for the burning sensation and the cuts to heal and stop hurting. My right hand was fine so I'm at a loss to explain why my left hand presented such a problem. The other issue is he didn't trim my nails down and he didn't make them shiny. He didn't put the buffing cream on and use the buffer tool on the drill; he hand-buffed, but without the cream. I know I should have spoken up, but the way he burned me so badly, I didn't want that drill near me again so I just left posthaste. I might give them another chance later, but there are too many other nail salons in Edmond to try to keep going to one where the service is inconsistent. I do want to say that no one was rude to me, everyone spoke and was pleasant, so that wasn't an issue for me. read more

I went in to get a cat eye gel set, and I was blown away at how well the acrylic was applied. Every other place I've been to does an even, thin layer all the way from cuticle to tip, which is a huge issue with how long I keep my nails. There is just no support if I get one caught on something. At this salon, Holly put it on thick at the nail bed and thinned it out as she covered the nail extension. This is a great place for pedi and manis! The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. My daughter and I got a mani and Pedi together. Once seated they offered a drink. They have a vast amount of colors to choose from. The pedi chairs were massage chairs. They placed a plastic wrap in the pedi bowl and opened the tools from sterile bags. I got a deluxe pedi which is added salt glow foot and leg massage, hot stones and cool mask for $35. My daughter had the kids mani and pedi for $23. I got a gel nail french manicure, which is $20. I just moved into Edmond and was looking for a nail salon that I can go to on a regular basis. I walked in and was told that I had to wait 15 minutes. Definitely understandable because they were busy. What caused me to leave was the customer service. I was asked to sit in the spa chair, I did and waited patiently. Then they had another client sit right next to me and offered her refreshments. Mind, I've been sitting and not once it was offered to me. I called to make an appointment for 4 pedicures, which they made over the phone. We arrived on time and no one seemed to acknowledge us since we came in as a group. Finally we were all sat down for our pedicures, however, one of us didn't have a nail tech. But what was rude, is one nail tech started my friend's pedicure, and then quit doing her pedicure about 5 minutes into it, to move onto another client's pedicure. Which they both ordered the same pedi and came in together within the same group. Ok, not sure why they didn't continue to complete her pedi. Her pedi included the warm neck wrap, but they never gave her one, even after asking the staff 2x for it. Her water got cold quickly as she sat there waiting on the 3 of us to finish. My pedi was completed so quickly, he didn't even get all of the mask wiped off of my legs. My friend told them she didn't want to continue getting her pedi as we were waiting to go to dinner afterwards. They offered her a $5 discount for next time. The hot stone that came out were definitely not hot (lukewarm at best) and once I get passed the language barrier that I wanted them to be hotter, she went and got a couple of hotter ones.
